πŸ’œ 8Γ—8 Adventure – Harvest Diary 🌿 Purple Haze by Zamnesia – Pheno B β„οΈπŸ‘‘ THE LITTLE FROSTY QUEEN HAS REACHED HARVEST! β€” SMALLER PLANT, BIG PERSONALITY! πŸ’ŽπŸŒΈπŸ’œ Hello everyone, and welcome back to another chapter of the 8Γ—8 Adventure! πŸŒ±πŸ’š My friends... HERE WE ARE AGAIN! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ’œ Another harvest report, another beautiful girl, another collection of photographs, and another opportunity to remind everyone that this adventure has given us twelve individual plants with twelve individual stories. And yes... We're splitting the reports again! πŸ˜‚πŸ“Έ I know, I know. At this point, some of you might be thinking: "Doc, are we ever going to finish looking at these harvests?" YES! WE WILL! But first, we need to give every girl her moment. πŸ˜‚πŸ’œπŸŒΏ Today, we're giving the spotlight to our Purple Haze Pheno B by Zamnesia. Our Little Frosty Queen. The smaller sister. The girl who took her time, stayed more compact than her Big Mama sister, and eventually gave us a beautiful harvest of her own. And if there's one thing I want to make clear from the beginning, it's this: Smaller doesn't mean less beautiful. This girl had her own character throughout the 8Γ—8 Adventure, and she deserves to have her journey documented properly. β„οΈπŸ’ŽπŸ‘‘ This report is focused on harvest day and the beginning of the post-harvest chapter. We also took a few photographs of the drying rack, even though our approach was to dry the plant whole. There is more to come, including the trimming report, detailed post-harvest observations, and the smoke review. So please bear with me if the structure feels familiar! πŸ˜‚πŸ’š We're not repeating ourselves because we have nothing new to say. We're documenting each individual plant separately, and each one deserves a complete story of her own. Let's give our Little Frosty Queen the attention she deserves! ──────────────────────── ❄️ THE LITTLE FROSTY QUEEN β€” FROM SEED TO HARVEST If you've followed this diary from the beginning, you already know this girl's story. Purple Haze Pheno B was part of our 8Γ—8 Adventure, where twelve individual plants shared the same general growing environment under our 12/12-from-seed approach. From the early stages, this girl developed differently from her sister. She stayed more compact. She took her time. And while the Big Mama was making herself noticed through her size and substantial structure, Pheno B was quietly developing her own personality. πŸ˜‚πŸ’œπŸ‘‘ For a while, we were waiting to see what she would show us. And then, as the flowering weeks progressed, those flowers became increasingly interesting. The compact structure remained. The flowers developed. And the frost became one of the most striking features of this phenotype. That was the moment when our description of her really started to make sense. The Little Frosty Queen! β„οΈπŸ’ŽπŸŒΈ She didn't need to become as tall as her sister. She didn't need to occupy the same amount of space. She didn't need to follow the same developmental timeline. She simply needed to be herself. And now, after following her through the growing journey, we're finally documenting her harvest. What a beautiful way to close this chapter! ──────────────────────── πŸ‘ TWO SISTERS, TWO DIFFERENT STORIES One of my favourite things about this part of the 8Γ—8 Adventure is being able to compare the two Purple Haze phenotypes. Not because we're trying to decide which one is better. But because the differences are so interesting to observe. πŸ’œ PHENO A β€” THE BIG MAMA πŸ‘‘ A more substantial plant with plenty of presence. 🌿 A larger overall structure. 🌸 Beautiful flowers that earned her own studio photos. πŸ’œ PHENO B β€” THE LITTLE FROSTY QUEEN ❄️ A more compact, more modest plant. πŸ’Ž A beautiful frosty appearance. 🌸 Her own distinctive flower presentation. πŸ’œ A different developmental journey from her sister. Same genetic family. Same general room. Same overall growing approach. Two different expressions. And both are worth celebrating. πŸ˜‚πŸ’œπŸŒΏ This is exactly why I enjoy following individual phenotypes instead of assuming that plants with the same genetic name will develop identically. The Big Mama gave us one story. The Little Frosty Queen gave us another. And now we have two separate harvest diaries documenting those journeys from their own perspectives. Neither needs to imitate the other. Both deserve their own spotlight. ──────────────────────── πŸ’Ž THAT BEAUTIFUL FROST β€” HER SIGNATURE LOOK Let's be honest... The frost was one of the first things that made this girl stand out. β„οΈπŸ’ŽπŸ’œ Throughout the later flowering updates, we kept coming back to the same observation: when you looked closely at her flowers, there was so much to appreciate. Her compact structure gave her a different appearance from her sister, while the visible resin contributed to that beautiful frosty look. And that's what I want people to remember when they look through these harvest photographs. We aren't looking at a smaller version of the Big Mama. We're looking at a different individual plant with her own expression. The overall size is one part of the picture. The flower structure is another. The appearance, colours, and visible resin add further details. And when you bring all those elements together, you get the Little Frosty Queen we have been following throughout this adventure. πŸ’œβ„οΈπŸ‘‘ She may have been more modest in size, but she certainly didn't disappear into the background. She made herself noticed in her own way. And I'm glad we took the time to document that. ──────────────────────── βœ‚οΈ HARVEST DAY β€” ANOTHER GIRL COMPLETES HER JOURNEY And then came harvest day! πŸŒΏπŸ’œ After all those weeks of observing, photographing, and documenting her progress, we reached the moment when her growing chapter came to an end. There's always something satisfying about reaching this point in a diary. We remember the earlier photographs. We remember the weeks when the plant was still developing. We remember the questions we had along the way. And then we get to look at the harvest and appreciate the journey as a whole. For Pheno B, that journey was all about her own rhythm. She was the smaller sister. She developed at her own pace. And she gradually revealed more of her individual character as the flowering stage progressed. Now we've reached harvest, and we're moving into the post-harvest documentation. I'm keeping this chapter focused on the harvest itself rather than trying to squeeze every detail into one report. There will be time to discuss trimming, aroma, flavour, and the rest of the post-harvest experience in the next updates. For now, let's appreciate the milestone. Another Purple Haze phenotype has completed her growing journey! πŸ’œπŸŒΏπŸ‘‘ ──────────────────────── 🌿 DRYING THE PLANT WHOLE β€” WITH A FEW PHOTOGRAPHIC DETOURS! Our approach was to dry the plant whole. But, naturally, the camera had other plans! πŸ˜‚πŸ“Έ We also took a few photographs of the drying rack because we had the space to capture that part of the process. And I think it's worth including those images in the diary. They help document the transition from harvest day into the drying stage, rather than leaving a gap between the plant in the growing room and the flowers we'll be discussing in the trimming report. The whole-plant drying approach is part of this girl's post-harvest story. The additional drying-rack photographs are simply another way to preserve the moment and show a little more of what happened after harvest. And if you've been following my diaries for a while, you already know that I like documenting these details. πŸ˜‚πŸ’šπŸ“Έ I want to be able to look back at these reports and remember not only what the flowers looked like, but also the different stages that brought us from the living plant to the post-harvest process. The harvest is one milestone. Drying is another. Trimming will have its own chapter. And the smoke review will follow when we're ready to discuss that part of the experience. One step at a time, my friends! ──────────────────────── πŸ“Έ A SMALLER HARVEST REPORT… BUT STILL PLENTY TO SHOW! Now, let's talk about the photographs. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Compared with some of the other harvest diaries, this one is a little more modest. We have fewer photographs in this particular chapter, but there is still plenty to share. We've got the harvest-day views, photographs showing the plant and her flowers, and a few shots of the drying rack. And remember, this isn't the complete photographic collection for the entire post-harvest journey. We're splitting the documentation into separate reports so that each stage has room to breathe. The harvest-day photographs show us the plant at this important transition. The drying-rack images give us another view of the post-harvest process. The next report will focus on the trimming stage and the details we want to discuss there. So, no, this isn't the end of the Little Frosty Queen's photographic adventure! πŸ˜‚πŸ’œπŸ“Έ We're simply taking it one chapter at a time. And although there may be fewer photographs here than in some of the other reports, every image contributes to her story. ──────────────────────── πŸ”¬ THE 8Γ—8 ADVENTURE β€” TWELVE PLANTS, TWELVE INDIVIDUAL STORIES For anyone discovering this diary for the first time, welcome to the 8Γ—8 Adventure! We're following twelve individual plants and phenotypes through a shared project, documenting their development and observing the differences between them. The plants shared the same general growing environment, lighting ecosystem, and overall approach to care. But they didn't all develop in the same way. Some grew taller. Some stayed compact. Some progressed quickly. Others took longer. And even two Purple Haze phenotypes gave us noticeably different stories. πŸ’œπŸ‘‘ The Big Mama made her presence felt through her overall size and structure. β„οΈπŸ’Ž The Little Frosty Queen remained more compact while developing her own beautiful flower expression. That's the part I love about this project. We aren't trying to force every plant into the same shape or timeline. We're documenting what happens and appreciating the differences as they appear. The growing stage is now complete for Pheno B, and we're continuing that documentation into harvest and post-harvest. The story doesn't end when the plant leaves the growing room. There's still plenty to document, discuss, and learn from. Twelve plants. Twelve personalities. Twelve individual journeys. And another beautiful chapter completed! πŸ’šπŸŒΏ ──────────────────────── πŸ’‘ THE LIGHTING TEAM BEHIND THE 8Γ—8 ADVENTURE Throughout this project, our main lighting ecosystem has included the Future of Grow Black Series LEDs, with two additional Black Series 600W fixtures supplied for us to test. We've been documenting the expanded setup as part of the wider project, including our approach of controlling the output rather than simply running every fixture at maximum. The previous room reference was approximately 59% power from the plug, with around 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy. Actual intensity varied with plant height and position. The Lumiflora lighting also contributed an additional dimension to the setup deeper in the canopy. These are part of the shared environment we documented throughout the growing journey, rather than claims that any single piece of equipment explains the differences between the two Purple Haze phenotypes. Their individual development is what makes the comparison interesting. A massive thank you to Future of Grow for supplying the additional Black Series fixtures for this experiment! πŸ’‘πŸ”₯ Thank you to Lumiflora for being part of the lighting ecosystem, and to TrolMaster for helping us manage and monitor the room behind the scenes. The equipment is part of the story. The plants are the stars. And our Little Frosty Queen has certainly earned her place in the spotlight! πŸ’œπŸŒΏβ„οΈ ──────────────────────── πŸ’¬ COME JOIN THE DOG DOCTOR COMMUNITY! My friends, you're all invited to join us on Discord! πŸ’šπŸŒ± πŸ”— https://discord.gg/dogdoctorofficial And when I say everyone is welcome, I genuinely mean everyone. Whether you're an experienced grower, just starting to learn, interested in equipment, or simply looking for a friendly community to talk with, there's a place for you. You don't need to know everything. You don't need to have the biggest setup. You don't need to be at any particular level of experience. Come as you are! We have conversations about growing, equipment, projects, personal experiences, and plenty of other topics. We exchange ideas, ask questions, learn from one another, and have a laugh along the way. And yes, we also organise giveaways and competitions with prizes! πŸŽπŸ† There's always room for another friendly face, another question, another perspective, and another conversation. Different experience levels. Different setups. Different interests. One community. Everyone is welcome. So come and say hello! πŸ”— https://discord.gg/dogdoctorofficial Growers helping growers. πŸ’šπŸŒ± ──────────────────────── πŸ” WHAT COMES NEXT? THE TRIMMING REPORT! And now, my friends, we have the next chapter waiting for us. πŸ˜‚βœ‚οΈπŸ’œ This report has been about the harvest day, the Little Frosty Queen's journey, and the beginning of her post-harvest story. The next report will take us into the trimming stage. We'll have more photographs to share, and we'll give that part of the process the attention it deserves. We'll also discuss the aromas, flavours, and the rest of the post-harvest experience in the appropriate report, rather than trying to squeeze everything into today's update. I want to keep each chapter clear and self-contained, just as we've been doing throughout the 8Γ—8 Adventure. So stay tuned! The harvest has been documented. The whole-plant drying stage is part of the story. And the trimming chapter is still to come. πŸ’œπŸŒΏβœ‚οΈ ──────────────────────── ❀️ FINAL THOUGHTS β€” THE LITTLE FROSTY QUEEN DESERVES HER CROWN Purple Haze Pheno B. From seed to harvest. πŸ’œβ„οΈπŸ‘‘ She was the smaller sister. The more compact plant. The girl who took her time and developed at her own pace. But she was never just a smaller version of the Big Mama. She had her own structure, her own timeline, and her own beautiful expression. And throughout the later flowering stages, her frosty appearance became one of the features that made her stand out. Now we've reached harvest, and I'm happy we can document this moment properly. The growing chapter is complete. We've captured the harvest-day photographs. We've included a few images from the drying-rack stage. And we're preparing for the next report, where we'll focus on trimming and the rest of the post-harvest experience. This is why we keep separate diaries for individual phenotypes. Because every plant deserves to have her own story told properly. And this Little Frosty Queen has certainly given us one worth following. πŸ’œβ„οΈπŸŒΈ She didn't need to be the tallest. She didn't need to be the biggest. She simply needed to be herself. And that's exactly what she did. Keep shining, beautiful girl. Your harvest chapter is here, but your story isn't finished in these diaries just yet! πŸ˜‚πŸ’œπŸ‘‘ ──────────────────────── πŸ™ THANK YOU A huge thank you to GrowDiaries for giving us a platform to document these individual journeys and share them with the community. Thank you to Zamnesia for the Purple Haze genetics and for being part of this adventure from seed through to harvest. πŸ’œπŸŒ± Thank you to Plagron for supporting the nutritional side of the garden throughout the journey. A massive thank you to Future of Grow for supplying the additional Black Series 600W fixtures for our lighting experiments in the 8Γ—8 room. πŸ’‘πŸ”₯ Thank you to Lumiflora for contributing to the lighting ecosystem, and to TrolMaster for helping us monitor and manage the environment behind the scenes. And, of course, thank you to everyone following these diaries, leaving comments, asking questions, sharing experiences, and supporting the project. Every comment and every conversation helps make this adventure what it is. πŸ’šπŸŒΏ And don't forget, everyone is welcome to join the Dog Doctor community on Discord! πŸ”— https://discord.gg/dogdoctorofficial Come for the conversations. Stay for the community. Join our giveaways and competitions. Ask questions, share experiences, and learn alongside other people who enjoy the journey. No matter your experience level, you're welcome. πŸ’šπŸŒ±πŸ† ──────────────────────── πŸ’œ UNTIL THE NEXT CHAPTER… Another girl has reached harvest. Another individual journey has been documented. And our Little Frosty Queen has officially earned her place in the 8Γ—8 harvest diaries! β„οΈπŸ’ŽπŸ‘‘ The next report will bring us into trimming, with more photographs and more of the post-harvest story. So thank you for joining me for this chapter, my friends. Thank you for following these girls. Thank you for being part of the adventure. And thank you for being patient while we work through all these photographs! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ“Έ Growers Love & Happy Growing! πŸŒ±πŸ’šπŸ’œ Take care, everyone. Keep learning, keep sharing, and keep supporting one another. And don't forget to join us on Discord: https://discord.gg/dogdoctorofficial See you in the trimming report, my friends! Until then... Keep shining, Little Frosty Queen. Your crown is waiting. πŸ’œβ„οΈπŸ‘‘πŸŒΏ

7 weeks behind us. Goin' gooooooooood. No more feeding. Last 1.5 weeks will be water-only. I did just yesterday remove some top-layer canopy leaves to increase light penetration to lower budsites. They smell amazing and are beautiful - but I still hope for more resin production in the last week. Every day they get thicker and thicker, yum πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

High temperatures and nutrient burn. At this point i have no idea what i am doing. Every now and then SD2 and SD3 release typical weed smell but apart from that no other smell. The stems upon rubbing and touching smell like cinammon, cloves and orange zest.It reminds me of fanta drink.

Well I decided to transplant this one as she was holding to much water in that smaller container and she wasn't liking the soil so much so I put her into a more balanced soil no nutrient additives . She will hopefully be doing better by the end of the week and if not I'll still keep plugging away at her and here's to the best cheers ...

The Big Bang of Flavor 🍭✨ "And just like that, the universe expands. I’ve officially cracked open the Mellow Jelly (Positronics x Zamnesia) and the magic is already starting to happen. These seeds will not just 'sprout'; they will wake up from a sugary slumber. Watching that first white taproot break through feels like seeing the first spark of a neon galaxy. The genetics here (Rainbow Flakes x Sunset Sherbet) are top-tier, and I can already feel the 'mellow' vibes taking over the grow tent. Time to pop: 3 days and she popped like magic The jelly is officially starting to set. Next stop: Seedling city." Get Your seeds: https://www.zamnesia.com/us/?a_aid=Wolfvb

Afghan Original was developed by crossing several Afghani Indica landraces, so there’s only 100% Afghani cannabis genetics behind it. Potent, sturdy and perfect for novice growers as well as more experienced enthusiasts with bigger demands. A resin production champion it can be conveniently used for hasheesh making! Afghan Original has been probated by hundreds of growers and proven a sturdy, fast growing Indica that yields heavily and can sustain minor mishaps. Afghan Original can be regarded as β€œthe very Afghani cannabis” that any devoted stoner feels obliged to try at least once! Mostly grown out of doors, but Afghan Original works for indoor growing just as brilliantly. Perfect choice for hydroponic/aeroponic setups, green houses and even balconies! Provide at least 18-20 litres for a full-size root system if using soil or substrate. Feel free to make Afghan Original cannabis bushier by using any training techniques such as LST, FIM or topping, ScroG or SoG, mainlining or supercropping. About 35-50% increase in yielding can be expected after training! Resistant to molds. Insect pests are guarded away with aggressive hashy stench – another superpower of Afghan Original! Sometimes plants need supports further into flowering to stay vertical (weighy colas). Outdoor harvesting time is late September – early October.

Day 43. Light is on max output, heat enormous and they RUN !!!! thought intensity will stop them a bit , but i think i do only worse ... We have +30 heatwave in UK, i live in attic , so for 4 more days everything will be out of control. Watered today. 6.3 phed water. I love simple and affordable Mars Hydro products, if you can cope with heat TSL2000 can do magic in your tent ! Will update after heat wave us over. Should be in 4 days back to +20 ;))) Day 45. They GROW !!!! Distance is insanly small, but i have 30 cm of space left, wont move light for a week, then i will try to have 20 cm at least again. Planing last top up, need two more waterings before it, so it should be on last day of this or first of next week. Thinking to take down all LST at that time, need pots to breath better, too thin fabric, they dont keep form. Day 47. Drink every two days !!! 4 liters goes to nothing !!! Huge, still streching, tops almost rubbing TS2000, heat 30 inside, humidity 65-68 ..... will need heavy clearing again !!! Bomb getting stacked !!! Happy Growing !!!!

Gorilla cookies had a tiny defol and her trichomes are starting turning Amber, she isn't going to have much weight but is looking sticky. She is 84 days old. Lemon pie is about a week behind the others in her production, She is 79days old. On grow day 83 I switched over to 3ml/L ripen Ec 1.2 Ph 5.6 I will run this for 7 to 10 days before flushing.
