Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th)
(Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow.
(Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach.
Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy.
Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too.
(Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1.
(Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG
(Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too.
I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything.
(Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

I’m getting closer to harvest when it comes to Blu dream! I think I’ll wait till about a week and a half maybe 2 weeks before I do so😎. Northern Lights needs a bit more time but she’s doing great as well. She’s a monster! Banana purple punch has a cartoon like structure and I’m excited to see her in full bloom in the next couple of weeks. I’m glad I saved my tops and cloned them, I mean why throw them away right 🤷♂️🏾! Happy planting peeps 😎😁!

End of week 3, last week we removed bottom node and this week removed last node from bottom tpp, heavy lollipoping for pre veg for 2/3 weeks then flip to 12/12

Well, another week has passed and it has been growing not exactly as I expected, but they warned me about using only base fertilizers with an inert soil and a higher ambient temperature, I could have a not so good result, well, it's one more experience and I liked it and let's see how it will be until the end of the cycle because the next one I already ordered a starter kit from the advanced nutrients line! Let's Go!

I think this is last week for all 3 ChemPie. Now I can say,that I try almost all Rippers strains. Every single plant was perfect. I try Zombie kush,zombie bride,DO-G,Brain cake,Sindarel,Washing machine etc. Old school(cheese×Black domina),exelent strain....

Cut one plant because she got hermies on all flower other plants got male sacks but not too many so i cut them off im chceck them every 2 days i dont want any pollen plants in my tent

Hinten Rechts ist mein Sorgenkind ...Sie hatte von Anfang an nur ein Keimblatt und war dementsprechend auch die Kleinste . Nach dem ich sie höher gestellt habe hatt Sie etwas nachgezogen , momentan ist Sie ungefähr 10cm kleiner als die anderen und dies war wohl der Grund der leichten überdüngung ! Aber alles wieder im Griff 😉😎

📋 This Truffle gas #1 is a really good strain. She put up with some abuse to keep her as low as possible and coped well with the conditions I managed to get.
After 2 weeks drying I put the buds into terplock bags, never used these bags before so I'm hoping everything works out.

Séptima semana desde semilla de esta gitanilla, hermana de 3M ▼ Andalusian Gypsy, una cepa racial a tener en cuenta!
Grandes acontecimientos, debido a la baja, por nacer macho, de una de mis plantas de la carpa principal, ahora esta gitanilla enjoyada ocupa un lugar de primera división y pasa a competir con otras siete plantas cultivadas en macetas de 11L, la gitanilla la cultivo en una maceta de 7L, pero ella está dispuesta a demostrar lo que vale, al tiempo he cambiado el horario a 12/12h... a jugar!
Esta semana la planta ha estirado casi otros 20cm, las ramas son muy recias y yo la estoy intentando domar con ataduras por todos lados, pero esta gitana está dispuesta a mostrar toda la rebeldía que lleva en la savia.
El consumo de agua es brutal y a la planta le encanta comer variado, yo cocino para ella con pasión.
Bueno, como los veranos en GD son bastante aburridos hoy incluyo un video musical y que seguramente los antepasados de esta gitanilla bailaron... Vente conmigo gitana!

Flipped to flowering on these girls as the screens are now almost full across the 4x8 tent and we will still need to train them along the screens for the next 2-3 weeks. So working for a packed tent this time hopefully. Plants have been exploding in growth daily. Water was changed out and new water added with 3/4 Remo Flowering lineup and UC Roots at full strength. Smell is starting to get noticeable when you open the tent and is very pleasant.

La croissance se passe bien . la plante est vigoureuse et repond tres bien a l entraînement. Je viens de couper les apex pour une seconde fois avant la mise en flo je devrais l avoir realisé au minimum 4 fois.
Elle a tres réagi au rempotage dans son pot definitif. Un peu tot pour elle .Mais le rempotage devait etre réalisé en meme temps que les autres filles.

LST has worked well thus far with this strain. I am happy with how she is filling out and cant wait to see how much larger she gets. I am posting photos and the timeline from earlier this week. She is actually a bit fuller than these photos but you will see next week!

So let’s start by saying I was Mis sold original bloom with the hydro coco version and me being me expecting what I asked for and as I bought soil 2 bags with it you’d expect to have indefinitely what I asked for but sadly not, I can say it hasn’t caused a problem on my autos and I now have the correct nutrient but the first feed was with it! Results would apparently be not as good as the soil version but I imagine being the first feeds it’s not as important as if it was through 2-4th week of bloom, but again this is the start! Here we grow

Harvest time! Only this time there were some problems that made me take another approach. The thrips are still active so I thought it would not be very wise to lock them up together with the bud inside a paper bag. So I’ve decided to just cut the entire top part of the plant main stem and all, and hang them inside the top of the tent. But ofcourse not before I have given them a thorough shake. Then from the lower part of the plant where still some bigger buds, which I’ve also cut, trimmed and shaken clean, before they did ended up inside the bag, leaving just the lowest part of the plant with all of the small buds I’ve intended to use to germinate and create some seeds. At this point the remaining part of the plants are inside my small garden greenhouse, and I’ll keep you posted if it’s going to succeed.
Normally I’d preferred to trim the bigger leaf from the wet branches, then dry inside my paper bag and finally trimming the dry buds for bringing up the final bag appeal. Only now I’d chose to only remove the fan leaf and hang drying. I turned the ventilation almost on the lowest setting during drying.
As I said with the strain review, I’m happy with the results from plant A and C. Plant B started revegging, and thus ended up with a lower end weight. A shame because it had the biggest buds. The positive thing about dry trimming is that you don’t actually have to trim anything, it takes a bit more time, but you can literally push the leafs from the bud.

After a few days the LST has an effect. They grow nice and bushy. Still trying to get some drain in these massive 12l pots. At the moment I’m watering every 3 days with 3,5l of nutrient solution. Still no drain. I also removed some leaves at the bottom and the big ones, so light can break through better. We’re working on it 🧙♂️✨
Edit: I flushed them today with 5 liters of pH neutral water and we finally had drain 💦
I also lollipoped and defoliated them so the Girl Scouts get a better light intake ☀️🌱✨ let’s see how they’ll do. I’ll change the light to 12/12 next Tuesday, when we start week 7. Happy flowering

**UPDATE** So, I’m struggling a little with my humidity. I did just realize that my grow tent had a vent/flap on the side, secured by Velcro. I opened it up, and I hope that it helps decrease the humidity. I also installed a small box fan inside as well, as a temp fix.
So, it’s week 4 for my girls, and I’m having fun. I have 3 growing, however one of them are pretty short in comparison to the others. I’ll upload her later. The plants are at 7 inches tall, and it’s additional bud sites growing all over the place. A lot of leaves. I was really on the fence about doing LST, but I’ve watched almost literally everyone’s journals for Six Shooters and a bunch of YouTube videos, and I feel confident I can do it. So I did it. 🤷♂️🏾 I only did one so I can compare it with the other that doesn’t have LST, and we will see how it goes. Any advice or feedback is appreciated as usual. I’ve upped my nutrients now for aggressive vegatative growth, using 5 tsp/gal of FloraMicro, FloraBloom, and FloraGro, 1 tsp/gal of CALiMAGic, and 1 tsp/gal of Floralicious Plus. I honestly think that my plants are a little behind in general in comparison to other grows of my strain at week 4 (excluding any hydros). But I also see that some start their journal diff. Some start week 1 with seeds unpopped, some from when rap root appear (me), and some do it once the first pair of leaves sprout. A bunch of variables. But if I get a yield off of them, then it’s a success for me. And I also think now that I’m getting the hang of things, my plants will take off more. The only thing I need to get down now are my watering schedules. Thanks for reading y’all.

26.12.24:
I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves.
To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants.
After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6.
I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes!
29.12.24:
So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small.
I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process.
