No nutes this week I’m doing a water water feed and when I feed I’m still giving light nutes. Was having issues with the humidity but I found out about dehumidifier bags so I bought those... super beneficial!! Keeping my girls at a steady 48% Pretty proud of myself so far 😊 also applied the trellis until my new tent and light comes!! Gotta love Mars hydro

Day 1: Paper towel method was used. Made sure plastic container stayed in a dark and warm place. Day 2: Seed has cracked but no tail yet. Day 3: Started to worry seed won’t germinate so top tissue paper was replaced with new dry one. Used warm water to wet the new paper towel. After 12 hrs crack in seed got wider little tail started to appear. Day 4: Repeated method used in Day 3. Warm water used on new paper towel. Day 5: Germinated seed placed in jiffy peat pellet and placed in propagator. Day 6: no change yet. Put propagator in window for sunlight. Day 7: no change so decided to intervene. Checked to see if seed cracked. Slowly removed the remaining shell. Covered with soil. Day 8: Seed has sprouted. Put propagator under the sun for 9 hrs, and after it stsrted to open its first leaves. Day 9: She’s enjoying the sun. Day 10: Last day in the sun. Soil mix prepared and washed with water (ph 6.5). Transfer to 15L fabric pot tomorrow.

Welcome to week 5 of flower. Trichome production and the density of the buds is really starting to accelerate. My dehumidifier is not stable, so VPD ranges from 1.2-1.4. I lightly defoliated 31/10 and last watering was 6/11 👽👉7/11 The day after watering and the day my timer messed up my 12/12 schedule. But hope it brings no problems. I defoliated lightly and only removed most under the SCROG line. Even a couple of underdevoloped branches that stretched below SCROG-net got cut. 👽👉8/11 Their smell is starting to get more extreme. 👽👉9/11 I removed a bit of the bottom foliage and cleaned up the dead leaves. It has been really tight around the SCROG net, so it was highly needed for airflow and humidity 👽👉10/11 Waterday* ml/L change from last watering - to this. 🇺🇸Grow Journal🇺🇸– Week 5 – Mother Gorilla (Royal Queen Seeds) Week 5 Summary This week didn’t go as planned. I switched nutrients, and the plant didn’t respond well, possibly due to overfeeding. I probably should have transitioned more gradually to avoid stressing it. Nutrient Issue • Previously used: Formulex • New nutrient: Ionic Hydro Grow • Possible cause: Ionic Hydro Grow has a higher concentration of nutrients than Formulex. The sudden increase may have stressed the plant. • Symptoms: The new leaves are showing signs of damage, which could indicate nutrient burn. Typically, deficiencies affect older leaves first, so it seems more like an excess—but I can’t say for sure. Corrective Actions • Diluted the nutrient solution to lower the EC. • Initial EC: 2.6+ (but my tap water already has a high EC, so the actual nutrient EC is hard to determine). • New EC: Below 2, but again, since my starting EC is high (around 0.8-0.9), it’s difficult to get an exact reading of the nutrient contribution. • pH adjusted to 5.9-6.0. Current Conditions • Light schedule: 18 hours • Humidity: 70% • pH: 5.9-6.0 • EC: Below 2 (but actual nutrient EC remains uncertain). Next Steps • Observe the plant and see if it recovers. • Adjust the next nutrient mix carefully to avoid overfeeding. • Continue light training (LST), but growth has slowed due to stress. Hopefully, the plant will bounce back. Sorry lovelies, I've been a bit lazy with my diary the last few days. This is probably due to the brilliant effect of Dark & Big Devil 😈, which slowly reach their full potency through exact curing. Incredibly pleasant feelings, all day long. I'm super chilled, stimulated, but not tired for the time being. But now I don't want to keep you in suspense any longer and talk a little bit about the care last days, with my "Long-Life-Automatic" ;-)) Sour Jealousy. A few days ago, my relatively new oscillating ProFan started to rattle. After all, it always got stuck in one place. So I went to get another oscillating fan (RAM) for my new home box. In the process, I developed a new ventilation strategy. The ProFan can't turn anymore, but at least it's wonderfully straight! ;-) so in the future he will aerate the plants around the 20 l fabric pots in a well-circulating manner. Since the new Home Box has a height of 2.20 m, there may even be one more fan in the grow space. What I want to say is the following: I have now implemented this idea in the 80 box for a few days and the plant reacts excellently. The only important thing is that the draught indirectly envelops the root area. I have the impression that it works even more efficiently, like a machine. Also, I really have to say that I've never experienced such a voracious sativa phenotype before. Namely, one that literally eats the hair off my head. 🤣 The harvest of the two Sweet Seeds seems like a long time ago. I didn't expect such a long "overtime" either. However, I am happy to have received so much new input. You never stop learning. I assume that it will take about 2 weeks from now on, until the harvest. Again, she takes her time. Incredible. So many white hairs more. She now greases the grapes nicely, just a sativa monster! 👺 And eats and eats and eats. The colas are fully stocked from bottom to top and the scent almost robs me of the little sanity I have left. 🤣 The diameter of the main stem is 4.5 cm. Absolute record so far. I have also bought new supply air systems, and a Flexi-Tray as a protective pan for the Home Box. I even managed to get hold of fixture poles to be able to use the Home Box more efficiently. Among other things, I have significantly improved the recirculating air situation. I think every ambitious grower should think twice about this: the convection! An important topic, in my opinion. In my case, this means one in the root area, one oscillating on the leaf roof and one at lamp height to distribute the heat better. I also let the compost tea ferment for almost 40 hours and each time half an hour before pouring, a level teaspoon of Bactrex was added - with full aeration. Thus, the soil life literally explodes and works...! And I combine it with the Bio PK Booster from Biotabs. I like the combination of both. I use the PK Booster in a slightly lighter dosage than indicated. Because my tea version, I think, hits quite a bit every time. After all, it says: “Stop feeding your plants, start feeding your soil.” Organic farming - my passion to grow! Soon I will redeem my darling... Looks very juicy! Maybe tomorrow sun again until Monday and from Monday morning 48 hours of absolute darkness with full circulating air and exhaust air circulation. I think you can't use a HS 80 more efficiently. I'm enjoying the last few days with my good old Secret Jardin HS 80. It offered me excellent quality and quantity. The material was disproportionately well processed at the price level. Only the corners I reinforced with self-adhesive aluminum foil. And what I find so cool about my Hydro Shoot is and was: It’s ideal for bedroom cultivation. But it's really time for a technology change. all seeds germinated but a few did not sprout in the soil i will post exact number next week

The outcome of the flowering was very surprising. Flowers pumped up the last 2 weeks, became hard without leaves inside the buds, developing an amazing rancid and musky smell . During the vegetative phase; the plant grew vertically with pretty good ramifications..I did a topping very late, just before flowering like in emergency to stop the stretch: the plant was a little bit shocked but never stopped growing with a big internode’s distance. The opérations finally gave a good result: forming and developing more blooming sites. But the whole stability of the structure was changed and the plant was bending dangerously till the harvest.

Topped off with nutrients rich water 1100 ppm.

This week has been a bit troublesome. I’ve moved the tent to a different place due to cold temps and high humidity. I’ve also lifted the pots off the tent floor as the bottom of the fabric pots were very cold. I think the combination of bad conditions and a slightly heavy feed caused a Nute lockout/mag deficiency. Due to the issues this week I’m going to veg for another week to recover. Feed 1 ,Bio heaven/Acti Vera/Bloom 1 litre 2 ,cal mag 1 Litre 3 ,alga mic 1 Litre 1 separate feed of each over the last 7 days . I added a little bloom earlier than planned, hopefully the plant will find something in there that it’s lacking.

Started the week out with a mini flush and nutrient change. Fed the clones that are in the coco coir and they are thickening up well and producing solid buds. This might become an every grow thing, its looking like it will produce a good amount of bud for being a 12/12 clone.

Today’s date is June 11th, it has been 6 days since my last update. So far the Dolomite lime seemed to have helped with the yellowing of my fan leaves and the only “yellow” ones left look like they have a fade to them but I’m not sure if it’s due to proximity of the harvest or from the magnesium deficiency I had earlier. Either way I have to be more on top of my nutrients and my macros too. They chunked up a decent size and the branches are even toppling over from their density! Trellis was definitely needed for this one. Nothing special but watering when needed, temps have been as high as 84 and as low as 67, I’m really trying to master the environment but due to my location it’s getting harder to do so without hoping I don’t blow a fuse with all my equipment running, haha. Overall I’m happy so far and hopefully next run I’ll dial in more perfectly, if you have any tips for me please share!
