BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. This level of RH mimics a tropical environment, creating the ideal conditions for delicate young plants that need extra hydration support as they begin to develop roots and leaves. Why High Humidity? • Encourages Strong Root Development: At nearly 100% RH, plants focus on root growth while pulling in moisture directly from the air, helping them establish themselves early on. • Protects from Stress: The high humidity reduces transpiration (water loss through leaves), which prevents drying and keeps seedlings hydrated. • Promotes Healthy Leaf Growth: With constant access to moisture, the leaves expand smoothly, giving each plant a strong start in the vegetative phase. Growth Status & Observations 🌱 These little mutants are showing some funky characteristics and growing at their own unique pace—a perfect reminder that no two plants are the same! Each seedling has sprouted its initial set of leaves, and I’m seeing great promise in their vigor and resilience. Key Observations: • Color: The seedlings are a healthy green, with some displaying slight variances in shade—typical of unique genetics like Mentha de Croco. • Structure: Leaves are developing steadily, with short internodes (the space between sets of leaves) that hint at nice, compact growth patterns as they continue. • Energy: Each plant seems to be finding its rhythm, which is a beautiful thing to watch! Some are taking their time, while others are diving right into rapid growth. Nutrients & Supplements 💧 For this first week, I’m keeping it light on nutrients, letting the seedlings draw what they need from the Root Riots and the remaining seed stores. However, I’ve continued using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster, both at 1ml/L, to support foundational growth. Why These Nutrients? • Aptus Regulator: Adds silicon to fortify cell walls, giving the seedlings extra strength to handle environmental changes. Even under the dome, this helps build resilience. • Aptus Startbooster: Supplies essential microbes and root stimulators, setting up these little ones for explosive root growth once they’re ready to venture outside the dome. Lighting: FOG LED & Environmental Control 💡 I’ve kept the Future of Grow (FOG) 600W LED dimmed to around 200 PPFD to avoid overwhelming these tender seedlings with too much light. They’re getting just enough energy to support healthy photosynthesis without stressing them in their early stages. Lighting Benefits at Low Intensity: • Prevents Stretching: With the lower PPFD, plants stay compact and focused on root and leaf development rather than reaching for the light. • Supports Early Photosynthesis: The FOG LED’s balanced spectrum provides all the wavelengths these seedlings need to kick off photosynthesis and grow with vitality. Controlled through the TrolMaster Tent X, the lighting schedule is consistent and stable. With this controller, I can manage humidity, lighting, and temperature settings all from one place, ensuring the environment stays perfect for these little ones. Here’s a bit of wisdom for anyone embarking on a similar grow: 💧 Humidity & Hydration: High humidity is a seedling’s best friend. Keep your dome or grow area humid for strong, happy plants. 💡 Light Management: Keep lighting low to encourage compact growth and let those roots dig in. this week was uneventful. buds have been getting bigger. im feeding more and defoliated again a bit. theres now a sweet smell in the garden

I missed last week unfortunately due to a few things going on so there is quite a step up. ****It’s been in flower 9-10 days so far and all bar 3 are flowering nicely please look at the pictures of the plants that just don’t seem to be budding? Are they duds or slow developers? Am I wasting my time or will they start too do you think?**** They are getting tall now and I have had to crank the extraction up a bit. Over the course of next week I am going to put them back into the smaller tents (half in each) with a scrog net to even the canopy out and add support them if they continue to grow taller Whacked the nutrients right up to near on 1500ppm and so far so good this 2nd week of flower they have shot up. Watering 5-600ml per 24 hours but to be honest I am going to up that over the coming days to near 800ml as they are almost drying out before I water again. Perhaps twice daily may come sooner than I think

Starting week 11 the heat wave is gone and the conditions lately have been perfect! The bud are forming nicely and the smel is strong but my diy carbon filter does a great job! Sticking with the same nutes and ph around 5.8. One of the two is slower than the other but comming along just fine

As you can see on the pictures, all seems to be ok except that the potting soil is maybe a bit too charged with nutrients: radish leaves are big and thin, the small NL plant is also a bit disturbed by this. This should get better with time. Tomorrow (Jan 08) I'll water the area around the NL5 with corn seed sprout tea. Goal being that with these growth hormones (SST) it'll be able to cope better with the super charged soil. The next step will be deciding which training technique to journey with: hst-mainlining (reg or quad) vs a more popular lst... @sensiseeds let me know if either is totally proscribed from your knowledge on how your genetics behave 😜. Patience wise, I can handle a slow growth, I want this to be fun and exciting. FYI, lights still at ~20% and 60 cm (2ft) from plant

Auto Magnum grew really well. 1 seed 1 plant is how it should be. Excellent germination, and pretty fast grow time for a sativa dominate hybrid. Strong spicy, citrus, sweet smell. Really frosty as well 24 hours hang dry time then into the cannatrol.
