8/12 - Dropped 3 seeds into RO water to germinate 8/13 - Placed seeds into moist paper towel and into plastic bag to germinate on heat mat. 8/15 - All three seeds sprouted. In the morning I prepared three 3-gallon pots with Roots Organics Original Soil and Nature's Living Soil Autoflower mix. I will be doing Super Soil method for this grow. I filled the bottom one third of the pot with regular soil, then added 1 lb of Nature's Living soil and mixed it in. Then filled the rest of the pot with the regular soil. I topped it with Mosquito Bits for added BTI for pest prevention. Finally, I wet the pots down with RO water and Organic Black Strap Molasses. After about 8 hours, I planted the three seeds and placed them in the 4x5 tent with a humidity dome to keep in moisture. 8/16 - Two of the three already have their true leaves. So, I have removed the humidity domes from those two. 8/17 - The last of the GSCs have sprouted her true leaves so I have removed her dome. I sprayed them lightly again today with RO water and molasses.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. The girls are looking better and better each day. They have finished whatever stretch they had begun, and are now stacking some very decent buds 😊 They are showing some phosphorus deficiencies, but at the same time are showing that they are getting some nutrient burn 🤔🧐 I’m used to making one solution to feed, and that seems very difficult to balance with some of these Auto’s, as I have had to adjust for these girls and not my others, anywho, the joys of Autoflower’s ❤️ Only a few weeks left, hopefully we’ll get through it as they are looking promising at this point. Day 74. The harvest is near. I will start with a 14 day flush this coming week. The Trikoms sparkle like diamonds on the buds and it smells absolutely magical. The harvest won't be that great but the quality of this weed will be absolutely outstanding, I'm sure 😁✌️. Day 77. The gorilla is approaching the end, The Tricoma are cloudy and are becoming more and more milky to show a shade of amber and orange-colored spouts spread across the buds. I aim to start flushing her at the end of this week, and then give her a 10-14 day flush.

Have to harvest in a few days. One of them doesn't smell like Runtz, but rather like lemon herbs and gout yogurt... I only know this from some Afghani landraces. Maybe it has something to do with the ruderalis part. 2nd and photoperis are runtzy🤤

She started to flower this week and stacking quick. Still stretching and not to far behind the other olants. Quite a rainy and stormy week so did not need to water but I been consistand on the compoat teas each week. Top dressed with the spent compot tea and roots soaked with 700 pom compost tea with liquid kelp and cal-mag.

📆 Week 4, 12-18 May 2024 12 May - Upgraded light to ViparSpectra XS1500Pro. 13-14 May - Observed the plant. 15 May - Plant shows first pistils. 16-18 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 It was time to upgrade my light and it was an easy choice to stay with ViparSpectra. In my opinion, for small tents and the home grower they are the brightest lights available on the market. The only problem with the *2024 new versions are the dimmer switches. They limit how you can adjust the power: 5, 25, 50, 75 and 100% are the only settings, nothing in between. If you are trying to “dial” in your DLI/PPFD it makes it impossible without adjusting light height, which is quite cumbersome comparatively. Your forced to work around an issue which should have never been one! The plant is showing its first pistils this week. This doesn’t mean its in flower. There is no bud formation yet, she is just letting you know she is female. It could be another 2-3 weeks or longer before buds start developing. Right now she is still in a veg state so no changes will be to a nutrient schedule that reflect a flowering stage. 🍶 12 May nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 12 May feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 1.7 at 70 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 50%, DLI 28 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. 1/25/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 1- took 2 Tops today and cleaned up a few lower leaves that were hanging down. The FiM seems to have worked well and looks like I have three branches coming in where it was FiMed. 1/26/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 2- took 2 Tops from the sides and took a little of the foliage that was touching the lid. She seems to be doing very well.. Water change day tomorrow.. YAY!! will get a good picture of the roots and see how she is doing. 1/27/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 3- Water Change Day! I noticed a slight red coming in on the STEMS which I added a pinch of EPSOM salt to help correct. Day 92 from seed the plant has responded well to lifting her up but I could only go up to 3 feet she still has a long way to go to reach the light despite that she is looking great and the plant has responded very well to more light. From now on she will have just pH water until she is ready for the flush. Thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

Most pistils on the upper buds have turned orange started flush on the 9th April 2023 due to be ready on the 15th April but will check the trichomes before chopping
