Rough week for the rainbow melon. Giant limb from my maple tree crashed down on my two far pots in the group. The plant survived and should recover but lost a few weeks of growth. It did not get hit as bad as the bubblegum next door and managed to keep one of the main tall stalks. She was looking so nice before the damage and just starting to bush out too. But luckily that branch coming down opened up the sky quite a bit and the other two plants not hit are gonna do even better now and the rainbow melon should recover okay. I almost wanted to replace them but I will learn more from seeing what happens next and comparing to the other unaffected plants. Fed with compost tea, kelp and cal mag mix 700 ppm.

Quand nous achetons des graines dans une seedbank nous plaçons notre confiance en ce qui est écrit sur leur description / site internet. J'ai eu de nombreuses expériences désagréables avec certaines banques, et je ne m'y piquerais pas deux fois. Dommage c'est client perdu 🤷. Et on sait tous que la vente de graines est super rentable , c'est ce qui permet d'investir dans du nouveau materiel, pour le maintien de variété ou l'élaboration de nouvelles variétés, de sélection des phénotypes exceptionnels, de faire des back cross (objectif IBL) ,etc...

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now almost halfway through flowering which is 4 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster last week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also switched the Medic Grow light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of last week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 44" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 40" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 tent is starting to really fill up and they are just now starting to smell. I was out of town all weekend so I was unable to make a time lapse video but I will update next week. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. Harvest day 66 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚 Very nice phenotype with an extremely good smell. Growth was normal after the initiation of flowering. Looks beautiful with its jagged leaves 😃. As always, the Green House fertilizer did a very good job and I can only recommend everyone to try it out🚀 Have fun and stay healthy 💚🙏🏻

Day 70!!! This week was really hot, when the sun shone on it, the thermometer showed 40°. I think her roots don't like it very much, the girl needs to be watered every day, sometimes even 2 times a day :) I also removed the yellow leaves of the marigolds, there was also a really strong wind, which is why I had to cover the girl a little so that she wouldn't break the branches :) I'm leaving tomorrow for a short 5-day vacation, then these days I'll ask her to come and water once every 2 days, I hope that will be enough for her :) good luck to everyone.

08/21/24. Going into week 8 flower Welcome back to hell. Just kidding.. kinda.. Day 57 out of the 71 stated. This girls definitely going the whole way, if not more. She’s trying to make up for time that was taken from her. With the way she’s filling out now, I’m like damn. What would she have been like had we not hit a huge long bump in the road?? I’m shocked at what she’s even doing honestly. Big ups to Pablita. 👊 I guess this diary can just be a testament to this strain being resilient af. Also, hopefully it can serve as an example that you can bring a plant back from near death. Anyhow, giving her plain water currently as I think there’s still some build up in her soil. I tried feeding her a bit and noticed immediate tip burns. Going do water again next time as well and then a VERY light feeding that time after and see the happenings. I’m just trying to take it as slow and easy as possible with her. With progress .. don’t wanna throw everything back to shit. She’s thirsty every other day. Drinks almost a gallon, and get about 10% run off. Guess that’ll be all for now. ✌️

1.04 Day 55 Second week of flower, stretch is still very much undergoing. Lots of lovely bud sites, end of next week will be a major defoliation and a little pk boost. Watered today, no molasses, just water. 20/04/26 - 26/04/26: Full flowering mode activated. the bud sites have started to develop visibly, Purple Punch x Do-Si-Dos is a little bit ahead of the other two. Minty Black 98 will probably stay smaller but hopefully produces some nice buds. Just filling up the tanks every other day and waiting to hit day 21 so I can lollipop the girls. Canopy Observation:the canopy is thick, uniform, and fully occupying the table space. The trellis net is officially filled out, and the lower branches are strong and rigid. 📅 June 6, 2026 (Day 1 of Flower / Bloom Week 1) The Flip: Officially switched the timers to a 12/12 photoperiod (Lights ON at 6:00 PM / Lights OFF at 6:00 AM). Schedule: First irrigation shot triggers exactly 1 hour after lights on (7:00 PM), followed by a shot every 1.5 hours. Volume: Configured the drip stakes to run for 1 minute per shot, delivering 5 shots total per day. During week 7 the 3 plants continue to grow outstandingly well! The BADAZZ-CHEESE and ZHEETOS from BIG BUDDHA SEEDDS have a healthy green color and grow so much foliage that I have to defoliate on a regular basis. On day 43 (=flowering day 19) I take off all bigger fan leaves in order to ensure a better airflow thru the closet. The humidity is unfortunately still on the high side and sometimes exceeds 80% in the daily maximum, that is MUCH too high during flowering. I increased the dose of BIO NOVA nutrients according to their feeding scheme and all plants LOVE IT! The ZHEETOS #1 plant grows much taller than her sister ZHEETOS #2, therefore I decide to SUPER-CROP her on Day 48 (=FD 23). This technique developed by SOMA from SOMA-SEEDS is one of my favorites and I use it since years in order to bush out plants, which grow to high. Appr. 15-20 cm from the top of the plant, right above an internode, I take the main stem between two fingers and press very hard until I can feel the fibres inside the stem brake. By slowly pressing all around the diameter of the stem I create a weak spot at which I bend over the stem, so it looks 90-180 degrees downward. I do this very carefully to NOT BRAKE the outer skin of the stem while I bend the stem downwards. Even if some fibres brake, the stem will repair itself within a few days to a week and then start to point upwards again...👍😃 During the time the main stem needs to repair itself, all other side-stems will grow more upwards and this makes the plant bush out more. At the same time a super-cropped plant will produce bigger buds at harvest time, than a plant where you did not do that. Somehow the plant reacts to being hurt by getting stronger and producing more! CHECK OUT THE VIDEO ABOVE TO SEE ME SUPER-CROP! 😎 I also took a video ONE DAY after the procedure (on DAY 49), in order to show how resilient the plant is and how much she immediately repairs herself. Already then the main top has turned and points upwards to the light again, ITS FANTASTIC TO SEE! Simply a miracle plant...

Let’s Go day 29!! This week went real nice ! Girls are staying very healthy and building up nicely and even started showing signs of female sex which is super great ! We started doing a little bit of leaf tuck training method on em , nothing to big as like I said I want these girls just to do there thang an grow more on naturally side! My Air temp and Humidity have been on point all week, staying from 70-75 degrees throughout the day and humidity staying around 58-61% humidity , my girls are loving that summer an 75 feeling !!
