📆 Week 13, 4-10 January 2024 4 January - Turned light time back 2hrs to a schedule of 14/10, and lowered light power to 50%. This will facilitate ripening by mimicking an autumn environment. 7 January - Flushed system, filled with RO water and 10ml p/gal HG FloraKleen, PH 6.2. 10 January - Turned lights off. 📑 This was the final week of flowering. It will be followed now by 3 days in darkness, giving a total of 7 days in plain RO water. This provides the proper nutrient flush and a small cannibinoid/terpene boost just prior to harvest. Which will be 13 January. She will then be followed by a 7-14 day curing process, where she’ll hang for 5-7 days until the chlorophyll has dried in the leaves, then trimmed, weighed, put into mason quart jars and burped until a RH of 62% is reached/maintained. While in this state the flower will reach its peak potency/flavor in about 30-40 days, and can last for 6-12 months. An overall interesting grow. Especially if you like the color purple. She grew rather rapidly for about 6 weeks as expected from an autoflower, then slowed down and flowered simultaniously. Buds are on the smaller side but tight. There certainly was no problem in resin development as she is quite frosty, sticky and smelly. The trichomes have purple and clear stems with milky heads, about 5-10% amber and 10%(+) clear. All white pistils have turned orange or brown. Genetics are very stable with no signs of foxtailing or hermaphroditism. The only problem I’ve had was with nutrient sensitivity in flower phase - specifically week 8. It will depend on the end product quality as to whether I will grow this strain again or not. My final update will run a few days later than usual, but will include the Harvest and Smoq review information. She only grew 8cm this week. Slowing down the stretch now She's doing well. Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. Some of her very lower leaves were quite spotty and discoloured. I pulled maybe 12 off her through the week. Not sure if it's a deficiency. New growth looks nice and healthy though, flowering is going well, trichomes are enlarging this week, she's getting quite frosty already! 13/11 - Watered with 2ml/L Soil A & B each, 0.5 grams of Kraken Roots 16/11 - Watered with 2ml/L Soil A & B each, 1.0 gram of Kraken Roots 18/11 - Watered with plain water - PH 6.2 - started LST 20/11 - Watered with 2ml/L Soil A & B each, 1.0 gram of Kraken Roots 13/11 - So far this week the plants are taking off - loads of growth under 20/4 lighting. Plant 3 in particular is growing super strong! 18/11 - Applied LST, wasnt sure if maybe it was too early? Seems to have quite a few nodes but my plants seem pretty short/compact. 20/11 - Plants went a little down hill since LST - removed the LST and watered them - found lights were ~50cm from the plants so moved to 61cm - reduced hours from 20/4 to 18/6.

One of the girls had to be chopped as she was ready and extremely deficient. The others are maturing nicely and really starting to swell at the bud sites. The smells are a bit better but apart from the one pheno nothing too crazy. Should be easy to chop at some point next week.

July 5 - other crops on the lateral branches, growing strong every day 💚🔥

Sticky harvest, had to run the clippers through a steel wool pad basically after every cola. She yielded 59 grams, little over 2 ounces. Smoke is smooth piney with a grape understond sweetness. Unfortunate she came down 3 weeks early, but the smoke is still pretty good. Got her in cure now.

Day 22 - december 26 The hydro goes really fast now we can see the difference in growth vs the soil ppm 500 Ph 6.1 day 23 water change - 730ppm day 25 i cut off the 2 top fanleaves of the hydro and soil plant wich are blocking light on the stems underneath, now both plants have 6 main stems so both plants will have the same structure. nothing needs to be cut from here its just veg a bit longer and wait for flowers. also did LST on all 6 branches each has a string on them with a pencil attached to them to bend the young stems gently as you can see in the final video of this week. day 28: the hydro plant recovered from the too light nute mix new growth is healthy again theres just brown spots on the oldest water leaves. temps are also a bit low when lights turn of (15ceclius) in the res. i put the timer of the light now at 20/24 to keep it 2h warmer.
