So I was very impressed with the yield for my first grow What did I learn? so I Learned the importance of LST and staying o top of it, also the importance of not letting the medium dry all the way out because it will cause Ph fluctuations. another mistake I made was that I did not switch the nutes from veg to flower, so they were not getting everything they needed at the times they needed them. The last thing is lighting, I had 1 1000w blurple led light (and that was for a 4by4) and I finally got another 1000w at about week 9 to properly fill out the tent, so I'm excited to see what I can do with both lights and next grow. I also only used GH 3 part nutes and cal mag, it did great, but I'm planning on adding in a few things next grow so stay tuned. The Afghan is a show off. The buds so far are growing strong for 21 day’s of flowering. No worries with this strain as she takes defoliation very good.

This strain is almost perfect, smell, look, resin production, bud structure, how little trouble she was in veg…etc…. even yielded really well for a smallish, bushy plant, the only thing letting it down was slightly lacking in flavour, flavour was nice don’t get it twisted but I had very high expectations because everything else was so good, and it fell short a little. I did cure some further for a few months and it was better. All in all I’d recommend this strain, another banger from Barney’s farm!

Que hay familia, vamos con la décima semana de floración de estas Candy Rain de Zamnesia, para el concurso POWER BUDS Plagron x Zamnesia CONTEST. Las flores han terminado de madurar, con 70 dias de floración desprenden unos aromas bastante dulces, en 24 horas me imagino que haré las últimas fotos y las cortaré. Tercera y última semana solo con agua controlando siempre el Ph, que ahora mismo lo dejamos en 6. Tragan alrededor de 0.6 litro por planta cada 48 horas.(3 riegos semanales). La temperatura máxima está en 22 grados y la humedad está entorno al 40%. Os adelanto, es una planta híbrida predominante indica, es bastante fácil de cultivar, y aunque no sean plantas grandes si produce buenas flores y bien resinadas. Day 99 - Finally got to chop a plant! Chopped the cheese, did a rough wet trim and hung it all in my diy drying chamber (see video above). I knew I was going to be chopping one before the other, so I threw together a cheap unit out of a garment box I bought from a moving company. -It came with a cross bar, so I cut the box and re-taped it the way I wanted it, to conceal everything proper. -Then, I drilled some holes in the sides for ventilation and taped some carbon filter from my air purifier overtop to keep pests and dust out. -Outside of the box, I've got a Coway air purifier pulling out the smell and adding a bit of air circulation (pulls air passively through the vents in the sides) . -For added flair 😉, I threw some velcro on the flaps and built a thermometer/hygrometer into the front to keep an easy watch. They will hang from some clip hangers I grabbed, for a week or so, or until they're ready. Then I'll do a dry trim and time to cure! Super Lemon Haze is still plugging along and getting dense. Smells great, and although the leaves show a past of issues, the buds are looking amazing. Can't wait 'till she's done! It's really nice to have the extra space in the tent now too. It was getting a little cramped. Day 105 - Cheese is doing well in the drying tent. Stems aren't snapping quite yet, so will need a day or two more. Drying chamber is working great. No smell whatsoever. Super Lemon Haze is STILL GOING and looking good. Done with nutes now and watching trichs everyday. Buds are beefing up. The leaves are starting to fade, but the look and colour of the flowers is wild. Can't wait for it to finish up. Should be sometime in the next week or so. They're settling in to the pots nicely and the flower tent is about to be cleared out. Need to do some work around the tent before I can move them should be a week or 2.

Surf Purp Week 6 Flower The last week before flush. All nutrients apart from PK and sugars have been stopped. This brought the ppm/EC down, plus Remo Bloom was reduced slightly now they're not so hungry. With that being said I'm still using a lot more with this line than I'm used to. Only because the remo nutrients feeding chart lists them so strong, which I'm already a lot lower than. In future I'll try reducing them and see how they cope and perform, but that's just part of dialing it in to your own specific set up. Now that they're close to flush they're starting to get slightly more pale, with #2 and #4 showing some purpling too. This is because they are slowly coming to the end of their cycle, so they no longer need heavy feedings and are now eating less and beginning to cannibilise. They're all very frosty and giving off an insane amount of smell. At this point I'm more or less certain that #4 is a keeper, with the most unique terpene profile out of the 4 females. It smells like rotting candy/fruit with a lot of gas ⛽ it's also a close call between #1&2, as they're very similar to each other yet so different to #4. These two have the sweetest, most pungent smell of blueberries but with very slight differences between them that could change more throughout flush (and even after drying and curing). The keeper from these two will more than likely be decided after drying and curing. One or two of the main cola's on #4 are way too close to the light, with one top bud showing clear signs of burning. When you look closely, parts of the burns are brown as you would expect, and others are bleached white. These are both from heat and light damage, and aren't ideal. But, it's only the one bud on one plant so I'm not going to stress over it. In fact, she's smelling that incredible that you wouldn't even know! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊

Just cut up the lemon shining silver haze yesterday, first pics are from after i cut the wonder pie (from another diary) and i put one of my plants from outside there instead. Going to post more updates when i can actually smoke it!

Haven't uploaded week 8 so here's a few words about then. I couldn't do much else since I was waiting for some supplies before transplanting them. Overall, it was interesting to learn more about watering. I was definitely underwatering them and I think that contributed for them looking "sad" on week 7. After increasing the amount of water, they started looking better and growing more too. I also sprayed them with bauv. for IPM. About week 9: Supplies arrived so I mixed some Bokashi in the soil mix, filled some 7L vases (made some extra holes on sides, lesson learned from the first weeks hahaha) and transplanted the plants. After that, I watered them some Shrimp FPE to increase microbial life, phosphorus and chitin content in the soil. 2 days later and two of them are looking really happy ( plant 1 and 3)

She rocketed up! Given her some LST to stretch her out and topped her one last time just before. Will be flipping in the next week or so, she’s got big internodal spacing, so this has helped her gain some more veg on her. Nothing fed other than a compost tea - the soil is doing totally fine without anything more added in yet.

Lost a ton of overall weight from massive overfeeds. She still smells incredible and already smokes real nice. I'll post a legitimate report on everything once she cures up.

Week five in flower and not much change. The buds are starting to bulk up and get fat. I have noticed a color shift in the bud as well. They are developing a pink/purple hue with a gray undertone. It’s an unusual color because it’s very pastel looking. Frost production is still on high, these things are coated like crazy already. Magnesium issue has now stopped, I’ve been adding 1/16 teaspoon of magnesium sulfate to the water every time to keep up with the demand for this large plant. Smell is very strong and hits you hard when you open the tent. When rubbing the bud I pick up a fruity pebbles smell. So far watering every other day and she is sucking down about a gallon a day of water. Run off pH was reading 6.5 which has been spot on this entire grow so far.

10/13/21 - Fed with Week 1 on our feeding schedule. 30ml Big Bloom to 1 gallon of water. 10/14/21 - Looking great today. That Big Bloom is ready making the plants more perky and happy. 10/15/21 - They all look really good. Next week we start 3 additional nutrients and they should really start popping. We’ll be topping and super cropping. (Didn’t mean to rhyme lol) 10/16/21 - They all look amazing today. I posted a video. Just super cropping and topping. The Sour OG is actually looking better. 10/17/21 - Wow they all look so good! Just kinda letting the plants go wild a little bit. Some still have plenty of growing to do. 10/18/21 - Wow! Sour OG in the middle has taken off. It was struggling and it’s sister clone died. Looks like it’s turning over and growing properly! They all look great. 10/19/21 - The ladies are looking very good today. Tomorrow we start week 2 of nutrients. They should go pretty crazy in a week or two with Grow Big and Kangaroots in the mix.
