🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

23/07/2021 (F DAY 56) Seguimos observando solamente. Preparando los dos riegos semanales y cargando el cisterna del blumat. Empiezan a aparecer unos tricomas marrones en la Sweet Cheese pero muy pocos, se estima que semana que viene o la otra se va!

9/3 Day 50 of the grow I cannot complain at all,reduced the nuet list to what they are getting from here out 9/5 Everybody always takes pics of their plants at their best thought it might help to see otherwise, well here they are at their worst. Dried out intentionally as part of last stage of flower, like to get them conditioned for drying. Five minutes later all happy again after the water. Fed Bio-Grow/Bio-Bloom/Karo syrup as a boost to bio 9/7 Re-adding Big Bloom (Fox Farms) to nuet mix, plants seem to be missing it and I agree. Once a week at 3 tps/gal 9/8 Fed each .75 gal full nuets Moved Becky and Ceila towards edges to lower light to them. Seem very sensitive to it but the other two are just soaking it up so moving them into the center. Pics later at lights out. Greatly preferring the dark leaf pheno (Anna and Deb) over the light leaf (Becky and Ceila), Have two of each and the first grow was also dark leaf. Plants are more compact, drink a little less, easier to maintain, and I think will end up producing at least as much as the larger sativa leaning plants. Some defoliation on all Changing nuet list add Fox Farm Happy Frog Cavern Culture 1-12-0 for the P think thats the nuet hole, three tablespoons top dressed one time application... for now. DAY 63 THE FINALE !!!!! Howdy all. I hope we are all well and in the green. This has been a very interesting and rewarding journey for me in so many ways on this journal. I have had the opportunity to run a seed of my own which has been a brilliant result from what I am looking at as I type this. It stayed really squat and has produced some somid hand grenade sized buds that smell of a diesel and fruit combination. I also picked up the lemon from her pollen chuckers genetics too. Should be an interesting cure I hope. I did find a couple of bud rot spots that had to be pulled out but with her density I am not shocked at all. I will be using the dehumidifier for their dry for sure. The Northern lights autos have also finished nicely too and I do think could go a little longer with a push but time is up and the next run is looming !!!!!!. She has some great sized spiked colas to enjoy my attention everytime I go in the room . Just like the other girl , she did have a couple of mould spots that had to be taken out but not too much of a loss thankfully. Her mutant sister will also be put into her dark 48hrs along with these as she is also done now. She has a lot less to harvest but looks so sweet and potent up close to the buds now. I took the Gorilla cookies out earlier in the week as they had finished perfectly. After 48hrs dark I used the bowl trimmer to help with time and get her off the stalks as I did find some mould on them too. Recent environmental changing has bought RH issues to the front again. They have given up some great smelling and solid nuggets that are now starting their drying out period in the nets. The rest of the ladies will be joining them later in the week until I can do a harvest report and my opinion of this amazing light unit from viparspectra. With new projects afoot and lots of re jigging to accommodate them , I am looking forward to the next few runs too. I hope you will join me for the fun and always welcome comments and ideas too. Looking like a Peruvian jungle in here! The Runtz have done really well with the training and defoilation! We now seeing the bud sites slowly coming through. Main job this week.is to keep them big leaves tucked away to expose the bud sites to the light. Just started a tiny feeding of Plagron Green Sensation to begin with 0.5ml PL and then the next week 1ml until we get to 2ml feedings. Humidity now is slowly getting lowered over next 2 weeks until we at 55% Get to the chopprrr!!!! 🚁

12-16-2024 - Plants continue to do well. Found some rust spots on several of the leaves for the Granite Runtz...could be a bit of over-feeding as I top dressed recently despite being on Grow Dots...not too worried about it though. These guys are drinking like crazy so there is plenty of time between feedings where they're getting a little flush action. I'm going to guess that we're about 3-5 weeks out from chopping these down and I'm impressed with their size so far. Now I'm really just waiting for the buds to continue developing and see what kind of size we can put on these gals. This grow has gone unbelievably well and I feel like I have the tent dialed in pretty good. More to come! 12-17-2024 - Well this morning the girls got a bath in Recharge and Sweet Berry. They were very thirsty! The nuggs on these plants are getting massive and I'm expecting to see branches start to struggle to carry the load. At this point I'd say they're probably 3-4 weeks out from chop...but that is a very loose estimate. I'll keep a close eye on them as we go. Having so much fun watching these girls grow huge. CANNOT wait to weigh these things dry. I really think I'm gonna be close to a pound with this tent. 12-19-2024 - Got some nutrient burn going on with the Granite Runtz...just the top leaves and other than some orange speckles on the leaves the flowers look good and overall the plant looks healthy. The GR's have by far the thickest/most dense flowers of the three. The Frosted Cherry O's look very balanced and is the most attractive plant in the tent. The Mystery Seed, which is the only one I topped, is just growing in every direction and has tons of flowers but is clearly behind the rest in terms of maturity. I'd say in a few days to a week it'll be much thicker. Today I watered each plant with 3 Liters of dechlorinated tap water PH'd to 6.5. I'll take a look at them on Saturday morning and see how dry they are. Basically they're drinking a half gallon of water per day. Probably 4 weeks out from harvest is my best guess right now.

I'm having a Thrips infection...fighting it with Lacewing larvae... Defoiled all leaves that put shade on bud sites

Other than having to remove the Buttercream gelato from the room and harvest it because it went Hermie everything else is going well. All plants are fattening nicely, air flow is good, there are some sings of cupping on the leaves of Blueberry and Maui Waui, I rearranged the Scrog and pulled the larger buds lower to help combat this. Cheese has some amber on it already, which lines up well with the timeline for harvest of my last cheese plant which was 15% amber at the start of 8 weeks. I will let this one go a bit longer if possible so I have a slightly higher cbd version of cheese to go with my high thc batch I harvested last crop. Blueberry will likely come down a week after that and Maui could go up to the full 10 weeks from what I am seeing. Added Silica, Enzymes and Molasses to my feeding regimen. I add the silica to tap water mix it and then put air stones in the resevoir, I let that sit for a few hours then add my Micro, Gro and Bloom, then add Cal Mag and Sensizyme and Molasses. I use a drill with a mixer attachment to mix it well. This really helps with the molasses. I find if I add about a tablespoon of fish fert to that mix I end up with 6.5 PH. Fish fertilizer stinks but the plants love it.
