Hey hey growmies! another longer week, as I wanted to show these girls bouncing back from some problems I ran into with my Kratky experiment. about halfway through the week my plants started drooping and showing signs of overwatering, my guess is either the plant outgrew her air roots or the reservoir was too hot, inhibiting the plants ability to take up oxygen. either way, a quick peek at the roots showed some very healthy looking noodles, so I decided to not take any chances and come up with a solution that would solve both those problems. I took a 3 litre container, put a coat of primer and black paint on it to keep light out, then a layer of plumbers tape to bounce some of the grow lights off of the container, theoretically keeping the heat out, some other things I could have done was paint it white, or put some wall insulation around it. I could have also kept my jars and tried some troubleshooting, fill them less and more often. but I am happy with the roots created by Kratky, that's the nice thing about that system, it forces the roots to grow more horizontally, the roots have now created a sturdy foundation for low stress training and are perfect for placing into DWC. so that's what I did, I added a tiny pump and air stone, and for now both plants will sit in this tiny container, The Runtz will be moved to the tent as soon as possible, hopefully before these girl's roots get entangled, If that does happen, I will have to trim back some of the Runtz roots, I don't want to hurt the autoflower. now you've likely wondered what is up with the host of deficiencies the plants are showing, honestly that's just neglect on my part. I can tell there's damage from overwatering, pH fluctuations and even some lockouts. I am more on top of it now, the pH is more stable, the plants are getting oxygen and will recover plenty before flower. Plus I get to show off how hardy ruderalis is, look at the auto-flower compared to the photo period, she barely cares about the high temps, pH fluctuations all she appears to want is more food, so I have increased the ec to 1 ms, but most importantly, ill keep the pH in a range where they can actually take up the nutrients now That's it for now Growmies, Thanks for checking out my diary. Day 51, 4th of November 2020: The 3rd day since the lamp switched to be 12/12. I raised up the nutrition intake as it can be seen above only the BioBizz family 2ml/l and removed some LST because the plants remain in shape or just set a bit but nothing significant.... They look good and strech is on the way..... Nothing really to report there is crazy 2-3 weeks from now ;)

Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , she is well into pre flower now but the stretch has not yet started so I figured it's no or never too defoliate and tigh them down , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Added spirulina, brown sugar, liquid humus, bone flour, and wood ashes. This week i feed them with biobizz ferts at 1200ppm. Plus brown sugar. Today injust watered at ph 6.8. still 2 weeks to go Again bio bizz mix at 2400ppm plus brown sugar. I will start to flush next week The plant is foxtailing so i put the light higher

What’s up dudes? Well, 4 weeks since 12/12 light schedule and it’s everything going very well. As you can see I started noting some brownish tips in some leafs what got me a little bit worried but guess it was just a little overfert. Back to using only biobizz nutrients Besides that, not much more to say. Just have to sit back, relax and wait for the lady’s to fat up 😂

🌱 Update 06.08. - Day 15 The third week of growth has begun, and I'm excited to see my Fastberry plant thriving. 🌿 The plant looks healthy, and I'm considering doing some LST (Low-Stress Training) to enhance its shape. However, I'm a bit nervous about possibly damaging it. 😬 This week, I plan to increase the BioBizz Grow slightly to encourage more robust growth. 🌱✨ 🌱 Update 09.08. - Day 18 Today was the second time fertilizing 🌿, this time with 1.1ml per liter of watering water 💧. I gave my Fastberry plant 500ml of water. Prior to that, it hadn't been watered for 2 days 📅, as this strain prefers it on the drier side 🌵. Temperature 🌡️ & humidity 💧 remain stable, averaging 59%, and currently cause no issues for me. The Fastberry plant is growing well and has started to grow taller over the last two days 📈. 🌱 Day 21 - Last Day of Week 3 Today marks the last day of the third week of my grow! This week, I used BioBizz Grow only once with 1ml and watered the Fastberry plant with 500ml, including today's 500ml of water. 💧🌿 Yesterday, I considered waiting another day before watering, making it two days without water. However, I noticed the leaves were drooping today, so I slightly reduced the light and watered the plant. ☀️🔻💦 For the upcoming period, I'll switch back to watering every two days. 📅 Weekly Summary: Temperature: 23 - 27°C 🌡️ Light: 18/6 cycle, 75% dimmed, 60cm distance 💡 Humidity: 55% - 65% 💧 Soil pH: 6.5 📊

Plant has started to develop trichome and buds have started to swell. A very weak smell has started to appear. 4 more weeks to go. Hopefully 🤞🏻 it finishes it soon.

5/14- Buds are getting fat - some are starting to droop. The Calcium issue is resolved and feeding pH balanced water and not switching with well seems to have helped. Hopefully we can stay stead to harvest. Noticing some light burn so will have to potentially keep an eye on dialing back the lights a bit.

Today, day 23 was the last repotting. Girls went from 11.6L to a 20L pot. Now there in the right place. In fact, just 3/4 have beene repotting because I didn't have enough Lightmix :/ My order is late, and I'm not really happy with that 😡 I planned to top the girls on wednesday or thursday. It will depends on how they will recover. Actually, it's my first time with smartpots. If smartpots have a lot of advantages, repotting is not one of them ! I made a mistake : the plants were 60% dry, and abviously, it was not a good idea ! It should be clearly moist. Nextime I think I will water the girls 1 hour before repotting. I hope it will be ok and they will recover from this tough moment.... Will see in a few days 😰😨 Anyway, I have generously watered them right after repotting with no nutrient. Juste clear water with the right Ph. As they are in some brand new light-mix medium, I thought they have enough nutrient for a at least 2 or 3 days. D-25 : Everything is ok. Girls seems to have recover very well :) Anyway, I'll wait at least one more day before topping. The last Chocolate Haze (the one that was 5 days late), doesn't have 6 nodes yet and I would prefer to top each girls at the same time. D-26 : Repotting the last one and topping everybody. Fingers crossed for the next couple of days... I also feed the girls right after the top. During the topping process, the plants were reduced from 19cm to 12cm.

she looks really nice. the buds are getting thicker and the smell more intense. but she still has a few weeks to go. luckily no more mould or anything like that so far.
