Today October 25th is the First day of Week 6 In Flower. Received the Refractometer and got right to pressing. First I tried a mortar and pestle to extract the sap -- this worked ok but took a lot of time and force. Then I tried 2 spoons held together and squeezed with vice grips (didn't work for me). 2 Pieces of MDF board squeezed together with vice grips didn't work either. I guess I'm not strong enough. Tried a blender, a hand blender...neither of these worked! Then the vice, it was faster and took less force to extract the sap. Works great! Took leaves from top to bottom of each individual plant. (16 plants) Rolled a few leaves up, put in a numbered piece of parchment and pressed.....voila...sap😃 Refractometer was already calibrated and ready to go. Placed sap on meter, held up to light and there it is! My first BRIX reading😮 using $28 Refractometer. Going to change base nutrients to a "hard water" formula. So impressed with Harley Smith that I've ordered some NPK RAW products. Like the idea of micro dosing. I sent Harley an email and he replied the same day! Not a canned response either. So cool. Thanks Harley! AND he took a look at GrowDiaries and this grow✊😃 What a kind gentleman. 😇 Hope I didn't go overboard but I watered again today with amino acids and cal mend to try to fix this Calcium def. Will Brix leaves tomorrow and see if this makes a difference. The brix line yesterday was very clear and very easy to read indicating a calcium def. Maybe locked out from too much phosphorous or hard water? Watered Oct 29 & 30 Temp 20 PH 6.4 EC 1.9 Runoff EC 1.9 to 2.3 after at least 2-3 Gallons of water put thru each pot. Some pots Runoff were way off the charts😵EC 3.6! . Put water thru until EC hit 2.3 on 2 pots others were EC 1.9 to 2.1. Put 56 Gallons or 220L thru plants over a 2 day period until I reached a better EC.

The increased CO2 allows plants to thrive at higher temperatures, which in turn necessitates higher humidity to maintain the ideal VPD for healthy growth and transpiration. 80F -5F = 75F LST with 70% RH = 0.72 kPa. Higher temperatures and humidity promote rapid growth, nutrient uptake, and photosynthesis while maintaining a lower stress level. Temperature influences the rate of enzymatic reactions involved in aerobic respiration. Enzymes, such as those involved in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, work most efficiently at an optimal temperature range. In low temperatures, enzymatic activity will slow down, thus reducing the rate of aerobic respiration. In high temperatures, enzymes can become denatured, thus impairing their function and stopping the process of aerobic respiration. Glucose is the primary fuel for aerobic respiration. The rate of aerobic respiration increases with the availability of glucose, as it is the starting point for glycolysis. If glucose levels are low, cells may rely on alternative energy sources such as fatty acids or amino acids , but these processes may yield less ATP or be less efficient. To determine this effect, carbon dioxide volume was measured (as carbon dioxide is an output of aerobic respiration) 18/6 with the 6 being IR. What goes in must come out. When the rate of air going out exceeds the amount of air coming in, it creates a negative pressure. Tent concaves (bends in). If set up correctly, the RH will begin to drop slowly to the desired level I set, and the extraction turns off when it reaches the desired RH. The plant, as it performs cellular respiration, will always release more water into the air; therefore, the RH% of the tent overnight will increase, as long as oxidative phosphorylation is occurring. As soon as the RH% creeps back up to 55%, the extraction turns back on, over and over. This creates a strong pressure differential, which will work wonders with mass flow. Replicating high and low-pressure fronts in nature. Critical for oxygen diffusion at the critical time of peak cellular respiratory function.. Moisture will not transfer from a saturated atmosphere to another if that air is already at or above its saturation point, meaning the air can't hold any more water vapor. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, and then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, results in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow more slowly to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. Bottom left I forgot I mixed with coco as I didnt have enough livingsoil left to fill the pot. Showing some signs of fading but giving it a dose of biobizz tonight and 50g 2 8 10 amendment to each. Watering 2L each every 2days still. Weekly microben feed at 5ml per L 25/10/25 - Added 55g of 2 8 10 amendment to each pot and mixed then watered 2L 5ml per L microben Ph6.8 27/10/25 - Watered 2.5L each Ph6.8 29/10/25 - Watered 2.5L each 5ml per L Dr organics microben terra actus

Started to show some Phosphorus and / or Calcium deficiency. Flower comes on fast for this strain, gave her two feeds with an increase of CalMag and “P” from my NPK nutrient line and she looks great again. Such a short life span for this Autoflower strain, problems come fast! This is the end of her 8 weeks, tricomes are almost all cloudy with a few clear, she still has a bit to go before she is done. She is LOUD, ordered a new filter for the big tent to accommodate some funk I have coming up in ranks at the moment, more to come! 🌱😎💨

6/21 Wellllllllll she is still yellowing out like crazy. Very very very hungry girl. Moved the lights down to pull out some purp. I hardly have to defoliate at this point since she is consuming so many of her own leaves. I just carefully pull out the crispy leaves. 6/25 She is still yellowing out and is extremely hungry. Ive been feeding more than the recommended amount and shes still showing deficiencies. If you are growing in coco, i recommend you dont flush this girl. If youre running RO water, definitely dont flush this girl. Shes hungry till finish, no doubt. The trichomes are ridiculous on her. Ridiculous. Ive never seen more frost on a cannabis plant. Ever. She just keeps putting on more and more weight and frost. All of her leaves are sprayed in trichomes. The picture i just uploaded is from today. Although her trichomes are still mostly milky, i think she is nearing the end of her life. I will be uploading more pics tonight and a video to show all the foxtailing she is doing. All of her buds, even the ones down below, have the exact same pyramid-with-crown structure. Beautiful. A+++++ ____PS____ Here she is in all her glory folks. I took a bunch of photos and a video to show her sputnik-crown structure and stacked trichomes. You can see the green girls in preflower in the background for reference of color developement. She is going to be finished very very soon. Man, i cannot wait to harvest and cure this girl.

- Day 57 Watering day. Gave 3 Liters today, see how fast she'll drink that up. Day 59 Not much too report other than that the buds keep bulking up for now ^^. Day 61 Gave her another 2.5 liters today pot was fully dry after 4 days, so gave her a bit less this time. She smells great, very deep smell, almost smells like tobacco somehow, but sweet. Buds still have quite a few white pistils so she will still take a few weeks to finish I think. Day 63 Buds are definitely still bulking up 😍 definitely strong buds, very colorful and got a really nice smell going. I removed some yellowing leaves today and my fingers got stiiiiicky.

Ha avuto dei problemi appena nata. Già alla terza settimana e altra 5 cm era già in fioritura purtroppo si è presa troppa acqua per via della pioggia. Ma si è ripresa subito e mi ha fatto un raccolto piccolo ma buonissimo

Loved it all from the start! Could see from the rqs pot it thrived and the organic nutrients made it so much more alive! I mean I had little effort in her just had to water and add boost and I did that every fortnight! I’m so for organic now may try a one part solution next! Glad of the weights had so many nice dense buds on her and the initial taste was sweet and fruity and that’s before a full cure! Royal queen seeds deserve there place on the map 1 million percent

Penso proprio che questa volta non si riprenderà ma riuscirà ad arrivare alla fine ugualmente! Evidentemente ci sono danni a livello radicale che non sono reversibili e le foglie giovani piegate in quel modo così ad artiglio, sono un segno di una precedente sovra irrigazione che ha causato tutto ciò, mi sembra strano che oltre ad essere così accartocciate siano rimaste comunque scure, senza segni di carenza di azoto o qualsiasi nutriente, ma guardando nelle due settimane indietro, il vaso ci metteva troppo tempo per asciugarsi e questo già faceva presagire un problema di assorbimento per troppa acqua, per fortuna è stata recuperata in tempo ma questo genere di problemi sarebbe sempre meglio evitarlo…mai lasciare in mano le piante alla mamma insomma 😵

Off to a good start 2/3 seeds popped but starting another one and hopefully it’ll follow a week or so behind these two. Have a few purple gelatos flowering beside these a week or so out from harvest for and then I’ll be acclimating the room fully towards these two :)

*Disclaimer - Please disregard the counting weeks - The mother is ready to be harvested so the updates moving forward are only for the clones* 05/17 - (C) - The babies are flowering accordingly - Long strans on the flower sites and healthy plant structure on all of them - I will increase their molasse intake to provide more carbohydrates on the feeds - I replaces the C02 bag with a fresh one to give the ladies fresh CO2 through out harvest. I will begin to decrease the light intensity on in the tent to ensure a clean productive harvest.

Made it to harvest w 2 so far! Oozecake is a couple extra days. Boy she tastes amazing! Will ice her tomorrow and put her in 48 hrs of dark before I harvest. What an experience it has been! Can’t wait to try after the cure.

The super skunk feminised stands at 62cm tall with bushy growth. The growth this week has ceased with most of her energy being used for bud formation. Her leaves are dulling. Calyxes beginning to swell. Ph remains at 5.9 as she is fed when the her pot is light enough. Overall the super skunk looks good!

Using a 50/50 mix of Purple Cow IndiCanja living soil and Fox Farms Ocean Forest, just ph'd water using lemon juice to bring down my tapwater and mammoth P microbes. I brew teas with Nature's living soil auto flower line. Seeds in the soil 4/17...I plant directly into the soil without presoaking or letting a taproot grow, I've had 100% success rate so far so I'll keep doing it I think

Got 2303 into her final home in a 3 gallon pot, I used grow dots at 1 table per gallon of medium and made the bottom 3rd of the soil a little hot with fresh ocean Forrest soil, and purple cow non manure compost.. and moved her to my new ac infinity 3x3 tent!

Day 35 21/10 set up the net so it is easier to train out branches. the buds develop nicely. it grows nicely turned into 24/0 light again after trying 21/3 for a while likes 24 better
