Let’s Go day 29!! This week went real nice ! Girls are staying very healthy and building up nicely and even started showing signs of female sex which is super great ! We started doing a little bit of leaf tuck training method on em , nothing to big as like I said I want these girls just to do there thang an grow more on naturally side! My Air temp and Humidity have been on point all week, staying from 70-75 degrees throughout the day and humidity staying around 58-61% humidity , my girls are loving that summer an 75 feeling !! Most of them made it only 1 six shooter definitely didnt make it and a cream cookies is a lil stuck. I threw a mexican airlines in the old six shooter cup but just letting it germinate in the soil I havnt done that in a while. They are going to get another feed tmm. The medium is a 50/50 coco/soil mix since I'm using the green buzz and its organic I figured a little soil might be beneficial. Day 7 from germination they should be ready to go into their final pots in the next few days.

Week 5 has been a breeze! Going into week 6 we are seeing a lot of great things. The buds are starting to get nice and tight and thick which is so awesome! Every is SUPER sticky thanks to the Bud Factor X. Watering has stayed the same generally. Definitely need to work on our trimming for next flower as there is a lot of lower spots that are super small and not getting much love. We are still learning though! Going into week 6 we will have to create some structures for a few of these branches. The buds are gaining weight and a few branches are becoming a little top heavy.

Welcome to my Sour Strawberry scrog diary, sponsored by SPIDER-FARMER & Barneysfarm. Days 22-35 weeks 3-4 off veg Veg Days 12&13 25&26(seedling stage was done in germination week) Both plants had difficult with a bad PH imbalance that hit my plants across the board. All suffered from 2x Terpinator & Pure Zym PH 4.5 feeds. Lessons learnt you get no 2nd chances growing co2. A light def can be a serious looking one a few hrs later even though fix was applied. Growth can't keep up with uptake. So Foliar sprays I've been using a lot in these grows. It helps with the fixes much quicker. I've started training the plant and moving things to spread it out. I reckon if I flipped her after the stretch I'd fill 60-70% of the net. So, it needs a few more weeks in veg. I have done a lot of fresh toppings. So, they'll need a few weeks of growth and training and fixing to the net. All nodes are in the strip process so it'll help fatten up the stems as if there's too much growth below the main tops and if left late (stripping them late) you'll end up with weak stems, so the stripping needs to be done, and then you need to train your nodes/shoots you want to focus on growing your colas. Any input is welcome this is my 1st scrog. I used 2 seeds 2 different phenos, 1 is a lot taller, big mistake. Itll take time, lots of training and she's gonna look awful for the next few weeks but, their will be a method to the madness. I'll flip when I see 60/70% of the net filled either by attached to the net or trained so that'll it sit under where the stretch will go when flipped. Giving me 85-95% of coverage. Again, this is my 1st scrog so any input is welcome.. SCROG / DEFOLIATION / LST / NODE STRIPPING Only started in the 2 week of this update. Through a pro scrog frame over her. As this will be the easiest way to deal with it in my 1m2 tent. It will take up a lot of space for just 2 plants. But, I'm planning on doing a long one, or at least until I get it right so it'll be a proper scrog with an even canopy. I stripped the nodes to premote them to grow some mass i did semi removal of shoots that are deep into the canopy. Didn't wanna do to much stress that and she'll still need a lot of that growth to get her to grow out. Next wk I'll readjust and start pulling her in areas needed. 1 pheno is much shorter. So, I'm thinking I'll just train her so she at least gets right underneath the net, and then when i flip it'll help reach the net. But, them areas will need lots of growth, and I'll have to weave the bugger one abs pull her nodes down and maybe lollipop her a lil more so there'll be an even canopy. Started the girls with some LST to see how they all coped and they bounced back well.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. The culmination of reversing our Matterhorn cut off Mr. Crowley to Intergalactic Runtz, and the results were out of this world (I had to do it). These ladies were slow to start, but once they hit their stride, they put any worries we had to rest. Compact, short-framed, and robust. They pack beautifully boulder-like flowers that reek of garlic and sickly sweet cotton candy. Dark green to a mosaic of purples, yellows, and silvers. Frost production is off the charts, the internode spacing is tight, and they certainly will impress in their last few weeks of flower. This is one of our favorite crosses in the new fem lineup. Big troubles with LST, I managed to broke two colas, the first one recuperated but the socond one I had to remove. So strange for me why are they so fragile and not flexible. I need to wait more time before switching to 12/12 to get her away from stress.

So the second week started and I start with grow technique and try to bend down the main line to give more light for the lower sights may increase the yield and potency. Definetly try to make several main colas and If it will be necessary I will use some ScrOG method too. I will update the second week in the second part of the week with more photos about how they reacting the start of the LST. After the natural grow style this is definetly more work and care but I really enjoy to make work with her. UPDATE #1: Start to give more nutrients. Enchanced root developers, high dose, vitamins, hormones, everything. Bend down her allday-everyday, like every 4-6 hours. I updated some pictures and videos before the week II second part. This next weeks crucial about the LST, so try to maximize the observation and acting fast if it is neccessary. Even cutted down 1-1 fan leaves because they blocked the light way so I think this will also maximize the reach of the light. Definetly exicting.
