Thank you for stopping by and all the likes and comments....you are the best! 😎 Everything goes according to plan i started adding PK 13/14 to the mix this week, the plant is in good condition and seems to recover nicely. The excellent Mars Hydro TS 1000 is kept at 33 cm from the top of my plants is is running on full power. TS 1000 gives a full spectrum of light to the plants and you can see that...the leaves are lush green and develop without any hindrance, Mars Hydro did a very good job producing this lamp. Thanks to Mars Hydro for supplying the necessary equipment for this grow. That's it for this week folks, have a wonderful week and please come beck visit in three days time. 🙏

OG Kush, aka Olga was easy to grow. She was the tallest at 31 inches and had strong stems to support her buds. However, being the tallest, she suffered the most heat stress and was the first to show cal-mag deficiency. Og Kush aka Olga, was my first diary, initially planned to combine all my plants in one until I found out that for contests, you have to have single strain. So I jumped in feet first and ran 3 separate diaries. This was a bit much for me. I am totally inexperienced on growing cannabis, much less track the grow with all the nuances on an unfamiliar platform. I really intended to enter Olga in the Newbie contest, but I woke up one morning and Bam, I was an apprentice. With 3 failed germinations, 3 new diaries and no harvest surely was not deserving at that time. Because I'm running 3 diaries, when growmies visited, they checked out all of them and my likes increased significantly. 3 diaries 15 weeks,=45. easy to see the math. So here I am. First, I want to thank Andrew @LegacyMarketFarms for introducing himself to me my first week here. He invited me to his tutorial videos on Youtube. Every Sunday I watched one or two weeks at a time while I folded the laundry. I watched some over and over, taking notes along the way finding tips for that weeks progress. While I could understand many of the concepts, I never quite achieved them. I struggled with VPD in many forms: from not enough humidity during Veg to too much RH during flower. It's a world turned upside down. I was happy when he was recognized as a Guru 👏. Congrats again Andrew. Secondly, Warm thanks to @Ex_Alchemist and @StarLorr for helping me with platform technology problems. After emails to GD went unanswered, they offered suggestions for me to try and fix. When I kept getting blocked, they listened to me express my frustrations and anxiety this was giving me. They kept encouraging me to hang in there. I was ready to quit but I know I need to be here. My apologies to all that got blocked for 7 hours because you visited my diaries. Thanks for sticking around anyway. And my apologies to those that I did not chat with following a visit or comment because I was blocked. It is a two-way street. A big thanks to @m0use. Your comment on Premium Cultivars, made my light bulb click on for what was causing my continued 7 hour punishments. I had links in my diary comments to other cannabis sites, electroculture, recipe sites. etc. Since I've cleaned up the links, I haven't been blocked😊👏. Thanks to all the growmies that responded to my grow questions. Particularly my medical question as that is why I'm here. You shared with me your personal journeys and health issues and what works for you and what might be good strains for me to start with. I won't name names; you know who you are. I saw beautiful plants, perfectly grown, but also fun presentations using technology. There's that word again. I have a few short videos but while the music i selected was perfect for the theme, the music has copyrights and doesn't upload. I'll keep trying. Week 8 begins! Grandaddy Bruce is doing great, nice buds super frosty, sticky, heavy and dense. I continue to be impressed by this light and how this plant has grown under it.

Another week almost over, the girls are beautiful and smell great. Apparently everything is under control, I'm really looking forward to the results. Happy growing! 🌱🌱🌱

Left um 4 days over Christmas being a lazy bum and come back to half a tent off yellow a lot of fan leaves are looking sickly / fell off altogether most yellow leaves have been pulled off plants lost a lot of they fam leaves all in maybe abit too many , it’s hard because one person tells ya leave um all on and another person will tell ya take um all off so we just been seeing what works ourselfs and still ain’t got the foggiest , when ya rub the buds you get hints off lemon / pepper and fresh dog shit 🤣🤣 as I say we have um last feed of nutes this week and started to flush um they take about 6 litres of water through the pots untill any type of coloured run off and we only have 100l so 3 days at it we got through about 10 plants and we gave up 🤣🤣 so again intrested to see the finished prouduct if flushing does change the taste of the smoke , saying this the plants we have flushed seem to be looking alot more healthy than the ones we haven’t so deffo leaning towards a lockout or too high nutes for the girls , alot of rusting and alot of burnt frazzled tips one plant we chopped early and didn’t even get a gram of smoke able off it just alot of leaf n skinny buds , it being a first time go at this I’m not really too disappointed with the outcome but deffo kicking myself at how many I rammed in togther , some of the top Kolas are looking 10/10 but other than the top kolas the rest ain’t worth a wank to me , all in all learnt a lot though so excited to finish this one up and get cracking with number 2 I’m leaning towards bud Buddha seeds cheese puffs after smoking some zheez that’s going around the country at the minute cheese x zkittles , anyway happy growing people and don’t forget to drop a comment if you have anything to say or ask

In general I'm very happy growing this strain. The germination rate was 100%, all 3 sprouted, even though one ended up dying after some weeks. My fault here, she grew upside down and when I moved her she didn't reacted well. The growing conditions were initially a little unstable as I couldn't find the right balance between temperature and RH, having the latter one constantly too low, making me buy an humidifier to keep the level higher. Well, too high in the lights off period, and when distracted could reach up to 99% RH, which isn't good. Again, lesson learned for the next grow. Maybe I've defoliated the plant a little too much and that might have also affected the crop a little. When it comes to feeding, didn't use so much plain water, the feeding were nutrient based all the time. Not sure if this had any negative effects in the plant. Was fun to train the plant and I could see actually some benefits in doing some LST in her. After all this, being able to finish with this amount of bud makes me generally happy and positive for the coming grows. Overall I think I made a few beginner mistakes that affected the plant growth and flower, but again, having no pests, plagues, or any diseases was already a very good accomplishment and I'm really looking forward to start the next grow, and enjoy the smoke from this little one. As it was the first diary ever, was very fun to do it, and helped a lot controlling crucial parts of the growth. Definitely will keep posting here my future grows. Day 50. Still a lot larger than I anticipated. But the good news is she still fits in the 3x3 and is showing signs of slowing down the stretch. Iv heard people burning up their plants using canna PH13/14. So I’m going to mess around with a couple dosages and see how she handles it. So far this method has done almost exactly what I wanted. Stayed about a foot shorter with a much more even canopy. In about 10 days she will be getting another heavy defoliation. Update day 54. Heavy defoliation under way to expose bud sites. In about 6 days I’m going for mt first schwazzing. Should be a good time Update: As week 8 comes to an end I and very happy with the progress. I’ve bumped the ec up to 2.8. Will continue on that for a little bit longer. Day 60 about I will do my first “schwazzing” pretty excited about that.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Bubble Runtz, , she popped above soil on day 3 and is now on day 7 and is working on her 2nd set of true leaves. I started prepping the Coco Coir by flushing down to .4 EC and then soaking in water with an EC of 2.0 with Cal Mag and a PH of 6.8. I will let it soak until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted hopefully by next weekend or shortly thereafter. The weather in my region is perfect for cultivating seedlings as it is fairly hot and humid and I only have the Spectrum X running at 30% so it is not putting out much heat and I also have a humidifier running in the tent on low which is maintaining a RH of around 68%. I do have the AC Infinity fan kick on here and there just to keep some fresh air in the tent but no real issues with heat. This is my first run with Tastebudz genetics and super excited to try a cross of Bubble Gum and Runtz. I plan to build a mainline and flip as soon as all 5 mainlines are built, hopefully around week 7. This Medic Grow light is perfect for a 5X5, and the AC Infinity 8" exhaust does an excellent job of keeping the tent cool. I will set up an auto feeding system which consists of a reservoir, and some 1/2" tubing that is hooked to a submersible pump in the reservoir and set to feed for 1 minute every 6 hours through halo feeders connected to ball valves to adjust the flow. The runoff then flows via gravity to a 5 gallon bucket in the tent with a shallow pan condensate pump that pumps the runoff out of the tent when it gets above 3 inches to another reservoir. I have been growing fruit and vegetables for over 40 years and I have recently switched to high frequency fertigation in Coco Coir for my tomatoes as well, as I believe this growth medium combined with this technique is the safest, most environment friendly, and foolproof method of getting monster yields no matter what crop you are growing, and I have seen massive results in both cannabis and tomatoes. My goal is to have these ladies transplanted by around day 14-17, and have the first toppings done within 48 hours or so of transplant. I hope everyone has a safe and peaceful weekend.
