Trop Cherry #8 x BeeJayz hasn’t been topped, I transplanted the girls this week from a 1 gallon pot to a 3 gallon pot. Trop Cherry was in a plastic pot but now in a fabric pot. Plants seem to be growing well.

Day 50 - Starting week 8 today and she’s looking beautiful. She definitely not as big as I was expecting but she’s really starting to fatten up, looking and smelling amazing. Can’t wait for these last couple weeks for her to finish and chop her. Day 51 - All is looking good and hoping by the end of week 10 she’ll be ready or close to ready for chopping. Starting to get milky trichomes but still quite a few clear. The next couple weeks are gonna be fun to watch her fatten up more. Day 52 - She definitely looking good and getting a lot of milky trichs but there’s still a bit of time before she’s ready to chop, at least that’s what I’m thinking. Might do a split harvest if she calls for it but hoping she’ll be ready by week 10 or 11 at the latest. Just need her to fatten up a bit in the middle. Day 53 - Gave her a feeding of water today and continuing to watch her fatten each day. She’s starting to get really frosty and smelly and I’m loving it! Excited for the last few weeks. Day 54 - All is looking good still and it’s like this girl is almost turning into one big giant frosty bud and couldn’t be happier with how easy she’s been to grow so far. Right now she’s almost 100% milky trichs and looks like she still has a little more time to go still. I’m going for a little more couch lock so need those ambers to start showing up. Day 55 - All is looking good still, just watching her fatten up everyday. Day 56 - Last day of week 8 and she’s smelling sooo sweet and getting frostier everyday. Thinking about just giving her pH’d water from here on out. I’m guessing another week or two and she should be finishing up but just gonna continue watching trichs. Waiting for them to start turning amber. Still a few clear in there but not many, mostly all cloudy now.

On the start of week 4 flower the gals are doing well :) The Blueberry scent is getting stronger. I defoliated lower growth sites and cleaned up the top canopy to let more light and air in. I couldn't get everything I wanted to prune because I cant reach the back of the canopy, so some larf will be expected on my plant in the back of the box. On day 2 its all on cruize control now not much else to do but keep my reservoir on point and wait for the girls to bulk up and mature :). On day 6 I mixed up a new 5 gal reservoir with my bloom nutes. At the end of week 4 flower the girls smell great :). the smell is building every day along with the buds :) I'm really happy and surprised with the production at only week 4. It seems my clone may be optimized to my growing environment and or the increased light levels from being too close to the grow lights have accelerated the flowering process.

Mild defoliation throughout this week. Flush imminent so will leave the remaining fans as nute banks. Next run with these genetics I'll be running a monstercropped clone under this scrog and will go heavier with the defoliation earlier on. I was advised this on here this grow and did a bit but have learned I need more! Forever learning. Looks like it's gonna be an epic harvest. These girls smell absolutely dank. Testament to the quality of these Madame Grow Fertilisers. Harvest just get better every time! Also big shout out to my bro at NatureDelight.co.uk providing some awesome organics to add into the grow schedule. Used The Active Sugar Boost all through flower at 3ml per litre this run and I think the results speak for themselves. I cannot implore you guys enough to go check this stuff out. Pretty plant. Fairly happy plant (finally). Smells lovely. But still no sign of flowers. I really do think she's just not going to amount to anything here... I'm giving her one more week... and then I might pop another seed instead. Changed up the reporting on this - rather than ppm, I'm now reporting EC... but to keep record, the ppm is 436 10/20 - She's really starting to go now.. drinking a lot of water, going through the nutes... not giving me the "normal" signs of being in flower but... I'm starting to worry I'm not going to have the headroom for her in my tent! Going to have to do some crazy stuff with the lights soon. Trying to LST her enough so that's not a worry but she refuses to grow "out" - she insists on growing "up"! Can't imagine what she would have been had I not screwed her up so badly at the beginning... but no, I'm not going to give up on her... she WILL be fine! 10/21 - She's going crazy now.. I do believe she's in flower and she's drinking up a storm. Cleaned out the reservoir and added new nutes for her today. EC now stands at 1.0 and I hope to get her up to the max of 1.2 in a few days... Also raised the pH to 6.2 and I'm very happy with that as well... My cat has also given her stamp of approval - she's now demanding to take her naps in the tent... smells just delicious in there! 10/22 - Damn, I'm proud of this lady - for standing up to me, for telling me "hit me with your best shot" .. she took every mistake I made and turned it around... she was NOT going to be denied! Need to get in and get more defoliation going... 10/23 - She's going to give me a harvest... that's really all I care about, especially since I had no hope of it at the beginning! It won't be a massive harvest and that's ok.. I'll be exceedingly happy with whatever she has to offer... and who know, I might be surprised! But the harvest won't hold a candle to what I'm going to get from #2... I still love them both the same...

So its come to the end of the first week and the little ones are doing great. At the start of the new week they will get their first watering and we will start a consistent schedule.

FLOWERING First flowering phenomena are visible in the tops of the plants.😜 -------------------------------- GROWTH The plants are still growing rapidly. To keep the size of the plants somewhat at the same height, I use the following techniques: 😷 1. Removal of the side branches (Defoliation) -Small plants: I remove almost all side branches. In this way the small plants do not have to spend energy in the growth of side branches. -Large Plants: I don't remove anything. The plants will put energy into the growth of side branches, so the plants will not grow too fast in height. -Other plants: I remove the side branches in proportion to the size of the plants. In the course of the following days, I gradually remove all low side branches! 2. Tying the branches (Low Stress Training) -The smallest plants grow straight upwards. -The largest plants are tempered in their growth, afterI have tied them to the plant sticks with the help of plastic plant binders. On DAY 5 the plants vary in length between 23 and 41 cm AIR HUMIDITY 😨 When the lights are on, it gets nice and warm in the growing room. To keep the humidity at the desired level, I have two 7.5 liter humidifiers working almost continuously. In less than 24 hours I have to refill them. As long as the plants do not have real buds, I like high humidity so the plants to keep a low VPD. -------------------------------- WATER and NUTRITION 😱 Due to the high humidity, I don't have to give that much water. Every 3 days I give 1.25 liters of water per pot. I add 3 tablets of Easy Grow Booster to 10 liters of water. I divide this mixture between the 8 pots. This week I gave 2 x water.

She is doing great. This is the week 10 of flowering already! I can't believe that I've been taking care of her for about 4 months already! Her trichomes are getting milkier by the day. I am waiting for there to be some amber and many milky trichomes to harvest her, that's all... Same care and same nutes as always. -------> Update day 109. I decided to harvest her today. I see some trichomes going amber already in many of the buds, and the rest are mostly cloudy. I could leave her growing those buds for a week or maybe more... However, the blueberry indica that I harvested before planting this girl had a very strong body high, so I am looking to get a very head high from this girl. Actually, I've sampled this girl twice already, once three weeks ago, and another two weeks ago, and both were a decent high, very much how I remember it from this strain. Actually, the effect of the last sample reminded me much of the high I got the first time I smoked Amnesia Haze! So, a week after that I suspect the high will be on point, for what I want from it. ------> The end? I decided to try to reveg this girl just as an experiment... Actually, I am even going to try to make one of her clones produce pollen to create my own feminized seeds from this absolutely delicious genetics :)

Harvested Around 220 Grams from 3 Plants, terps were there slightly, smoked fine, its alright, went with a differnent breeder after.

Sorry I have not updated in some time. A lot of the missed time was me recovering from hand surgery. In this time, I was not able to move plant and tend to them. Then, at the start of the new year, GD was acting horrible. It would allow some updates and then reject others. Luckily it was still allowing harvest updates. The flower has a strawberry berry smell. Strawberry flower is my favorite. It is super frosty, and smells delicious. I did lose half of the canopy during flowering. As it was too close to the fan. Causing it to l wind burned a lot and ate away at the plant as it grew. She did alright for what I could do 1 handed. But for those who love the details, the full spread of pictures is right here, as always. t this point in flower, the girls are not eating — they’re just drinking clean water with nothing but System Clean in the reservoir, at a rate of 0.25 ml per liter. This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. 7/10 - Lowered light just an inch, plants still looked like they were stretching up a bit. Currently at 29" 7/11 - May be light stress, I'm not sure. But a spot has popped up on the older Gelato, which my wife has affectionally named Mal. Also noticing some warping in the leaves, it dosnt look terrible, definitely keeping a close eye on it. While checking out the girls this morning, found 3 or 4 gnats flying around. Killed them all, will monitor. I am allowing the soil to dry out before I water again, currently the top layer is mostly dry. 7/12 - Everything is looking great today, found 1 gnat this morning. Soil looks dry, stuck a soil moisture meter to the bottom of the cups, reads on the dry/moist line. Will probably water tomorrow. 7/13 - Plants looking good this morning, nice amount of growth overnight. Watered roughly 100ml each, slowly until water started to drip from drainage hole. I poked around the soil before watering, to try to find any gnats and i didnt see any fly up. As soon as water hit the soil, i saw about 3 fly up, tried to kill them. I am going to keep air blowing on the plants, to hopefully keep the gnats at bay. Will be getting some yellow sticky pads as well. The tent has been getting a little warm lately, in the lows 80's, up to 83. I decided to dim the light to 75%, and bring it closer. Light is currently at 75% 24". Overall I am very happy this week. 7/14 - Alright, so it has come down to pest management already. When I checked the girls out this morning, I found a lot of gnats. So I mixed in a little bit of diatomaceous earth into the top 3/4" of soil. Hopefully it doesn't cake up on me when i water next time. The original plan was to wait and ride them out to transplant, but when i saw the amount I gnats, I knew I had to do something. They did not like that at all, ill check back later tonight to see what carnage has been wrought to the gnats. Other than the gnat problem, the girls have been looking very good. I am a little concerned for Regina, she seems to be growing a little slower, and had some strange coloring in the growing fan leaves. I think she will pull through though. I saw a VPD chart that says my RH should be around 65-70% right now. So I'm shooting for that. I set up a little humidifier inside the tent. 7/15 - So it looks like the DE did the job, I poked around in the soil and couldn't find any gnats. Also I lifted the light up a little, to keep the canopy at 24". I ended up transplanting today, may be a little early, but it'l be alright. Dusted the transplant site and the root ball with great white myko. Added some more DE to the top of the pots to keep the gnats at bay. 7/16 - Nothing really going on today, the ladies are enjoying their new home, lots of growth over night. Didnt see any gnats today!
