Week 5 for my plant so far it might be 4 more week to go, i have cut down a little bit of nitrogen The bud get nicer and got more trichomes but it seem not harden up by now. I have 5 large branches as in the video and 5 other small branches, how many gram dry will i get anyone have a guess i'm excited the last picture is the bud i cut down because the downside of it has greymold, i dry it for 5 day and cure for 6 day seem pretty nice, enter your thought :) If there anything i would do in this stay to maximize the crop, need suggestion

Not much to report pretty straightforward process. Every 3 days top off with 33% strength to keep ppm up. I tried going lower on the ppms but they just didn't like it. These girls are definitely heavy feeders. I don't plan on doing a res change until absolutely necessary. Save money on fertilizer

Still just watering with ph water at 6.2 , steady growth slower than the other grow I’m growing (banana cream sundae) but still thin leaves. No nutrients soil was pre amended should last it a while

Buds glories buds still bringing them in at night

Beautiful progress with this girl. Can't really tell from pics, but some of her fan leaves are turning a purple tint, like her sugar leaves. Been feeding max strength compost tea with every watering, and she really enjoys it so far. Also, a little update on the clones I plucked from her a few weeks back. 6 of them successfully rooted, and now I'm hardening them off in the veg tent. 1 is already progressing onto vegetative growth. So her legacy continues :) Update 01/27/22: Her lower leaves are beginning to yellow and i see a nice mauve color spreading onto the fan leaves. I don't believe the leaves yellowing are a result of a deficiency or anything bad. She drinks at a fast rate, prays upwards first thing in the morning, and continues to stack her buds at a solid pace. And shes getting plenty of phosphorous, potassium and a bit of nitrogen as well. Shes getting fed blackstrap molasses with every feeding, which has a lot of calcium and magnesium. So after considering all of that, I think she'll just chug right along. As it's more likely just how this strain is. I remember my first run having a rather light-toned leaf coloration. Anyways, im starting to get a slight whiff of that infamous "purps" smell when I open the tent. It'll be hard to keep my head out of the tent come week 5, because I remember this strain being such a beauty. And I think I'm doing a better job with this run than my first. So I'm super stoked for the weeks to come. Cheers everyone 👍🏾

Day 49-56 (Day 50) I hooked up my carbon filter to the humidity controller and it is keeping the room exactly at 65-70% RH night and day. It looks like it turns on about every 45 minutes for about 5 minutes so it allows me to run the co2 bag properly. I don’t even have to use my dehumidifier. The room is 100% dark now too. Even the small red lights on the space heaters. Not going to feed anything other than foliars this week. (Day 51) Blackberry #4 & #8 #9 and white widows #2 & #3 are all confirmed males. Chopped them down and recycled the soil. White widow #1 is the first official female and I’m starting to see pistils on the m39/zkittlez too. Plants seem to be responding to the light fairly well. It’s hung 32 inches above the canopy which is as high as it can go without strapping it to the roof, which may have to happen one day. The plant can get within 6 inches of the light so I’m probably good. The ppfd output is 1800umols which is super high so I want to hang them as high as possible in veg. I wish I could rent a ppfd meter to see if I’m in range at 32”. (Day 52) Blackberry breath #3 is the first official bbb female to show. I decided to scrap BCTG #2. It sounded like a good strain but after looking at pictures of people who have grown it online, it doesn’t look up to my standards. I found a very small patch of powdery mildew on one of the leaves so I’m not even going to start with that shit again. I’m really thinking about scrapping the m39/zkittlez and the white widow too. I’m praying that I get at least 4 females of BBB. I tried super cropping for the first time today. A few of the branches I definitely squished a bit too much as they turned quite brown and looked dead within a day. (Day 53) Despite the m39/zkittlez vigorous growth, I know it will be a shitty strain that will most likely herm as it’s from a bag seed of low grade weed. I’ve decided instead of scrapping it, I will use it for experimenting with a new chemical powdery mildew preventative. If it dies oh well. I doused it and chopped a limb off a few hours ago during lights on and it seems fine. (Day 54) I’m about 90% sure BBB 6&7 are both female. #2 & #5 are looking like males but too early too tell. #1 is really tough to say. Just gotta be patient I guess. #3 has a great spread out structure, I hope it doesn’t stretch too much. The scrogging is a priority. I put up the scrog net just to see how it fits. It’s a little small around the edges but that’s fine. So it’s looking like out the 9, I would be lucky to get 4 fems if #1 & 7 would show forsure already. If #1 is a female I have my 4 and I can throw out the white widow. The white widow is just insurance at this point. Super cropped plants have recovered nicely. Going to continue doing this more. I’ve noticed that the plants that were put into my custom soil mix have very small fan leaves compared to the fabric pots of straight promix and dry amendments. Could also be the fabric pot is helping dry downs too. (Day 56) I’m seeing some yellowing so I’m going to give a foliar spray just too keep some deficiencies at bay. All of the plants are stunted except the m39 and bbb#3. Node spacing has also reduced significantly. I can’t help but feel it’s from the intensity of my lights but maybe they just need a transplant into some new soil something. Luckily the stunt and droop is only really happening to what I suspect are male plants anyway. Leaves are looking twisted and gnarled on #5. Going to move it into the veg tent for a while. I’m going to mix up and amend my Destiny/coco blend today and transplant bbb#3 and 6 & 7 in a few days. I mixed them up in contractor bags making sure to toss and turn vigorously. Here is my blend: 2 bags 40L Destiny soil 2 bags 40L coco 700ml glacial rock dust 700ml oyster shell flour 700ml nature’s pride bloom 300ml basalt rock dust 150ml langbeinite 150ml nature’s pride veg I am also going to try the Destiny top dress as it’s only 13 bucks a bag and full of good shit. I’m trying to not feed heavy in flower other than 2 or 3 top dresses and 2 teas and nothing after week 5. Because it’s taken so long for the plants to show sex, when I transplant into the 10 gallon pots, they should have more than enough nutrients too keep them going strong all the way through flower with just water. I’m a little skeptical about that though. Besides teas and dressings are fun. Everything should be broken down by week 8 or so. Will transplant in a few days.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. Posting the phenos when I do them

Last couple weeks for the Green Gelato pair. Getting a couple amber trichs in the video. I accidentally snapped a branch and decided to fully remove it from one, and will add to the total weight at the end. The Royal Gorilla is a strange one. Still far behind at this age, could go 100 days potentially lol. Drinking 2l a day too.

The buds continue to grow and there are more and more trichomes :) I'm now watering with 4 ml/l of Bio-Bloom which is the maximum dosage recommended by the data sheet. The plants look well and the yellowing of the leaves almost stopped. There are yellow leaves appearing on the O.G. Kush. I think they are too close from the light but since most of the plant looks healthy, I will not move it away from the light. Harvest period is slowly coming. I think they will need around 4 more weeks to be ripe.

From the last week

Hi there, As we approach the fourth week of veg, our expectations for the jungle tour continues to grow. This phase of the grow season is very exciting because at this time it’s decided how well we can lay the foundation for the subsequent successful flowering period. Our goal was to stop apical growth and teach the gals to focus on growing lateral branches. At first glance, I think we will be fine in this regard, but the following weeks will give us the answer. So we used tying wires and tent hooks to keep the branches down and open the canopy for better light penetration for the lower part of the plants. 🌞 A good defoliation has been done as well. Watered only once this week with 3 litres of PH-ed, de-chlorinated water and some Silica.💦 600 PPFD was a bit too much for them as I saw signs of light stress so we dimmed back the lamp to 520-540.🌞 Wish everyone a lovely weekend and see you next week!💨👊
