Had my run-in with powdery mildew midway through flower. But bud-washing was my savior! Completely killed all the pm and left me with a still incredibly strong end result. Its seriously some of the smoothest stuff I've grown to date, when smoked in a pipe.. I will be taking away 2 stars from the review because of the susceptibility to pm, however. This grow was a success as far as the autos go, overall... The photoperiod gal still has a few more days. Either way, I highly recommend this strain. Don't make my mistakes, make sure you keep your tent clean the whole grow through, ALONG with the air quality(just as important as the tent itself). That's where I honestly failed. After reading how spore transference works, I felt like such a knucklehead keeping my tent in a... 'homely' condition. Either way, lessons were had and I'm not one to make the same mistake twice! Week 8 - second week of flower One plant is much smaller - still not confident on sex of any of them ... maybe that small one is a male - I’m guessing they’re all female tho. Either way i may need to slaughter that little guy - the other plants are just overtaking the tent - might not be worth keeping that little one in there. Update 6/5/19 - I’ll take some updated pics tomorrow - I’m 95% sure I have FOUR out of four female plants. Just picked up some yucca to try - and I got some more led hangers so maybe I’ll upgrade the lights today - the rapidLED far red flower initiator isn’t coming until Wednesday unfortunately but I have two more SolStix I could add. Update 6/5/19 - far red flower initiator and the two (now 4) solstix are installed - I need to make a simple aluminum frame - maybe this weekend Picked up some 29% H202 to clean the rez tank and pumps and filter etc (not to put in the nutes for the plants tho!) Got a better air pump and airstone for the rez. New Vivosun oscillating fan - wtf!? Made for grow tents but can’t turn without stopping on the sides of the tent!? - I emailed them maybe it’s defective.

22 December 2020 Both of these ladies are almost ready for harvest, not really much to update. Next week I will remove the scrog and and start flushing these ladies ladies for a week.

In all this was a terrible harvest, and because I also do videos for my YouTube channel I don't update on Grow diaries properly which I will start doing with future grows.... Well on my next harvest will definitely do a better job of documenting my harvest details. But in regards to the Dark Phoenix, yeah not a strain I'm a fan off. At first I kept telling myself that I done a terrible job that's why i don't like it... But I need to keep in mind that I'm not going to like all strains, all strains are different and we all have different preferences. Some people might like the Dark Phoenix, me personally I'm not a fan. It has that earthy taste to it... Hashy/kushy...... Smoking it as I'm typing that's why 😅 and even with a longer cure I doubt it would make much of a difference to make me like it. But in all still a nice smoke, good high from her, the high hits you straight away and keeps you active and creative.... Don't know what else to say about her really, just trying to give you guys the best most accurate review that I can without bringing my own personal thoughts about the strain. I might not like it but its still a good smoke. 👍🏾😎

end week 8. ------------ this week only water from all Gorillas the buds look very sticky and frosty. when I open the tent, it smells very strong. The 1 and 2 smelled pretty strong, chemically, the 3. more like citrus. I will harvest Gorilla 1 20.10. Gorilla 2 22.10 Gorilla 3 23.10 I made videos and pictures of the trichomes.

Another good week come and gone. A couple of the girls needed nutrients so I add some general hydroponics blend into those that needed them. Didn't seem to make much difference yet. But they are getting into late flower. She's still holding on. Losing all her fan leaves, starting to lose sugar leaves. Not looking good. She needed more nutrients and gave them but didn't seem to help much. Buenas noches familia, pues empezamos con el final. Nuestras power plant xL se han comportado fenómeno , recordamos que metimos 9 plantas de 3 variedades distintas y esta es la única variedad que perdimos espacio del indoor. Aun así sin palabras en cuanto al resultado. Planta con floración muy rápida, bastante vigorosa, lo malo es que al final tendrás que tutorar si o si, pero es por el peso de la flor. 56/59 días para cortar en floración, (y es Sativa).Se supone que tira 20%thc y su genética es South African sativa.

Well, here is the harvest. I looked through a jeweler's magnifier, saw yellow trichomes and cut down the plants. 2 days trimmil, tired. Cool groove turned out. I'll post the weight later when it's dry. Let's try to pull the diary of the month? So what did we get. In the general photo, dense buds - 720 grams. (3 cans and a container). There were still small buds , did not weigh. And sugar trim - in the photo, with small small cones.

I've been able to keep my environment on point. I'm on track to harvest some very special bud 🙏🤗

Chop Time

The lamp is closer to the canopy as her final weeks of veg are set. She is responding very good in this extended veg.

This week, I had to cut three leaves—two smaller ones that looked like some kind of insect had laid eggs on them, and one of the big sun leaves. Finally, I can see some brown trichomes on the B-grade buds. I thought about harvesting soon, but it will probably take another two weeks or so... Or I may have to harvest her week by week. I haven't decided yet. What I can say is that increasing the amount of fertilizer has helped improve the health of the leaves. I should have increased it sooner; it seems that autos need more nutrients earlier than photoperiod plants.
