Hey guys! Here we are in Week 9, and honestly, nothing major to report. The plant’s doing fine — my main focus is still on pH stability. I feel like the coco is finally buffering around 5.9 – 6.0, which is exactly what I’ve been aiming for. I’m keeping a close eye on it. On the nutrient side, I’m sticking with the Athena base. I did add some Balance to the mix. Just to explain: I actually push the pH way higher than usual at first — up to about 7.4 — before adding the Athena nutrients. Once everything is mixed, it drops down to around 6.3, and then with just a drop or two of pH Down, I dial it back to 6.0–6.1. Right now, in the saucer I’m reading about 5.9–6.1, and the reservoir is showing about the same. So it looks like the buffer is finally kicking in. Structurally, I topped the plant and now I’ve got four nice apexes that I’ll train slowly over the next weeks. After the defoliation, I’m letting her recover and put some energy back into growth. Next week, I might start adding a little Rhino Skin (Advanced Nutrients) to help strengthen the stems and give her a more solid structure. But no rush — we’ll see how she goes. For now, EC is steady around 1.4–1.5, which is enough. I’ll bump it up later as needed. That’s it for this week — keeping the pH steady, letting her recover from topping, and just being patient. Aug 23: Sunday Punch EV is very fast and is getting close to ready. The buds are getting quite big and are weighing down the branches. Without the Scrog net she would be too floppy for all these buds. Plants are a bit too green lately so maybe there’s too much N still, but she’ll grow out of it. For pH adjustments I use apple cider vinegar normally but I ran out last week and was using malt vinegar. That must be one of the sources of excess N so I switched to regular white vinegar. Anyway, she is a very impressive plant. Aug 27: getting noticeably frostier. Hot again today. Increased water volume to about 9 L per day done as three 3 L waterings in morning, afternoon and finally in evening. Adding potassium silicate still to water and adjusting pH with vinegar and then adding a squirt of Dr Bronners Peppermint Soap as a wetting agent (surfactant) and the smell supposedly keeps bugs away. Unfortunately there are hardly any insects around any more, so, yay. Aug 28: flash pics before using red light. Don’t do flash pics of your plants if you don’t follow it up with a red light. Still seems a bit risky but this is the fourth year doing it and it seems fine.

In the video you can see quite well how much work the defoliation of Mrs. Jealousy has been. I had to graze so many nodes and internodes, really gigantic, these genetics. We'll see how it goes. It will soon reach its full potential and bloom as if there were no tomorrow. Last night I personalized the conditions a little more precisely and adapted them to the respective growth. Since Lady Jealousy is still withering a bit, I keep the humidity just about at the reasonable limit of tolerability for both fully flowering Sweet Seeds ladies. I think temperature and humidity is a good but necessary compromise here. Different strains require different conditions. Especially when growth is so different. I also find the tribes of the three protagonists interesting... In my opinion, it tells us a lot about the selection of phenotypes in breeding. So my dears, the day takes its toll. Time to sleep. And I would like to take this opportunity to express great praise. The effect and taste are really very pleasant, although it was not quite there yet. And a berry-scented taste - very pleasant. I'm already looking forward to the perfectly matured lady then even more... 🤩 Yes, everything is going great at the moment. I'm really happy and satisfied with all the girls. Tomorrow my Sweed Seeds Jealousy package will be delivered from Spain. Despite the circumstances there with so much suffering due to storm disasters, super punctual. Dark Devil is definitely really poisonous, wow - awesome turn... I had a 3-month break, that's noticeable... ;-)) A little mental excursion at the end of week 7: "Freedom"... We cause ourselves the most stress, because we have a completely distorted conception of freedom. Freedom does not mean being able to do everything you feel like doing. The assumption of having to do something all the time, is the main reason for stress. Only, when we have internalized, that we don't have to do, what we don't want to do: Only then, we are free.

4/15/25 This plant is blowing my freaking mind. Long stacked colas. Even the lower buds are plumping up like golf balls. This is an exceptional plant so far. Shes starting to show the classic "sherbert" purple that ive noticed shows up with anything that has sunset sherbert in the lineage. Some of the leaves are starting to fade slightly and the purple is coming in. The rs11 that this seed came from, produced the most from a single plant out of all plants ive grown and trained and kept that small. She yielded 3.5 ounces or a 1/4lb of top nugs from a plant that was only about 18 inches tall and vegged for 6 weeks before flip. Once i start to clear out all of the fan leaves later on in flower, its just going to be buds running the length of the stems 4/18/25 I really believe this may be a keeper. She is absolutely stunning. Just everything is perfect. She has super long stacking of buds up and down the stems. Im actually super stoked to see how she finishes up. One of the craziest parts is that shes in a plastic 2 or 3 gallon pot and this plant is going to yield insane.

Unfortunately this will be the last week because the threat of the red spider has returned and I cannot afford to use other chemical remedies to eliminate it so I anticipate the harvest by a week even if looking at the trichomes I am not so far from full maturity, Too bad . !

Forgive my language but I fucking love this plant. She is just a beast only restricted by the 5l pot I shackled her to.. but considering the pit size the main on this thing is offensive! It is a dirty great big donkey dong that smells like fresh fruit.. I'm confused 😜😜. She needs another 2 weeks to finish I think but because of how fat her main is I'm quite concerned about rot. I've set triggers to keep my room at 50% and temps at 24c. I'm getting within +/- 2c and Rh is actually more like a 48%. I will ease off the feeds of npk after the next feed which will be around a 1.5ec. then she will get just water .. Thanks for stopping by on my strawberry adventure. Grow well 👍🏼💚🌿🇬🇧

I needed one extra week!

Hbss is 27in tall ABxRKO is 38.5in tall I'm starting to run out of height because of the ABxRKO as it finally flowers. Still slight nute issues with the HBSS, but nothing too tough to handle for now. The smells the HBSS give off are absolutely crazy. Just letting them grow, and watering every day seems to work. Will upgrade to earth boxes for this tent since a little autonomy is nice
