As tops from largest 3 girls grew I trained them outward to fill the space more evenly, prepping them for their move to the larger chamber next week. They reacted very quickly to the training. The smaller of the 3 large plants seems to be needing more water than the other plants, wilting faster. Perks right back up after about 20-30 min of watering. Topped the rest of the smaller plants for a second time.

High GD community, Week 8, Sweet Thai doing fine, but trips got to her 2, like all other plants, and now its waiting for the predatory bugs to arrive and do their thing. I think the best way ist to wait for the bugs to arrive, get them at work for minimum 2 says and only at that time, ill switch to 13/11. If everything comes on time, maybe thursday, but friday should be the goal. Ive ordered 100 bugs, needing 5 to 10 at each plant, so it will just fit the needs. When the trips invasion is defeated, the bugs need pollen to survive, so the small flowers in the plantmix is a plus for that. Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

03/03/2022 Down to one Lemon OG, one Biscotti Skunk, and three Grape Skunk all looking super vigorous including Lemon OG . Very happy with the genetics so far trimmed up the legs a bit lots of potential clones! Ps. Forgot picture of Biscotti Skunk it's lights out so that will get done tomorrow.

I was still seeing strange things happen in the leaves but runoff pH was staying at around 6.5. One plant toppled over and started growing up from a bent stalk like an herb. I started looking for a new reflector so that I could mount my light horizontally instead of vertically to save space and ideally find a way to get the plants closer to the light without burning them. I started looking into MH bulbs as well as I figured at this point I clearly hadn't provided the light they needed. If I wanted them to thrive I needed to set them up properly for the last few weeks of veg. I transplanted this week into slightly bigger coco pots but in retrospect I feel I should have gone up to 3 gallon pots at this point.

Will update here with smoke and dryed report the drying is nearly done and about time for a cure , she smells great

So she is finally starting to show some true leaves. I'm questioning what to do with her this round. Most of the other plants in the tent right now, have a plan to be pollinated or be the pollinator. I have the ability to reverse a plant with sts spray as well. But I'm not sure what I should cross with or to the purple chrome, or if I should at all. Any suggestions? Swapped out a light that’s slightly too big for my tent but squeezed it in with minor cuts to the tent. Probably should’ve done it sooner. Can only run the light at 50% or below.

All right guys run day 33 in the middle of week four and this is my sixth time trying to upload this diary so fingers crossed this goes through... As you can see so far so good this is my first run with organics so these plants are nowhere near as big as my plans typically are so don't think it's due to genetics it's because I'm not giving them the cocktail mix that I give or gave my older ladies but I will say I'm probably going to go back to that because I like huge plants and I cannot lie 🤥 the taste of the flower I grow with synthetics is just as good if not better than what I'm getting at the Dispensary I believe it all boils down to how you dry it and cure it.. with that being said shout out to Sensible Seeds for giving me an opportunity to grow their genetics and give him a shot and so far so good.. the seedling seems rather weak at this point, and i had a little oopsie where the fan fell on it. thankfully it was alright afterwards. i watered the plant once per every two or three days.

Great weather this week. We did get a rain in the night of day 7 last week and morning day 1 this week. The girls weathered it well. Everything finished this week. The plants had their swells and the buds really filled out.

New week! Tips and help from last week, I had around 1500 ppm and I did flush my roots in water and change everything. Now is around 1000 ppm and dropping 150 ppm a day. Did read about water level in DWC and how to increase the grow with water. I had the water almost up to the root or the level of there the basket is. Now I have 1-2 inch (2-5 cm) below where the roots come out. This create air roots. I'm not sure if it's the air roots or the ppm but my flower is boosting. Can se buds grow!! Trimming so I can keep the same hight. Have any tips or rekomandation? Only have one question for next week and this is: it's looking a bit thigth between the buds and all of the leaf is cristal on it. Should I cut some more leaf? And what leaf should I trim? Is so thigth in there. Or will it grow fine?

Semana 12 agosto - 18 agosto 14 agosto - only water

Started topping yesterday, Noticed that one of the regular coco girls had a small "defect" on the 2nd group of internodes, left her alone and now see that the next group is shooting out 3 main cola's.. Curious to see where she is headed from here =) Other then that nothing much really, still giving the same nutrients up to about 200ml per plant per day. My biggest coco plus girl started to show 1 odd looking bright spot on one of her leaves, seems like it's nothing to worry about. The rest of them all looking and healthy.

Week 3 is starting off busy. Day 14 I finally got some Bone Meal. So, I added 2 more inches on topsoil. 1st I added 1/4 cup of Bat Guano ea., 1/3 cup Bone Meal ea., 2tbsp of Potassium Nitrate and Calcium Nitrate ea. Lightly mixed into top 1" of coco. Then I added 1-1/2" of Canna coco mix (perlite10%, worm casting25%) over top of soil. Then, I topped it of with cedar chips spread over both surfaces. Day 15, 12noon I watered both girls with 1/2Lt of 6.4PH water only. 8pm I decided to LST a couple of umbrella leaves each. Hope it helps with light penetration. There's a bunch of new growth under those two leaves. How does it look so far.... Day 18: Lot of changes... Switched my lights around. The TS-1000 made heat where the Pro2 Epistar 400W didn't. Was just a hunch but as soon as I changed the temp of the room went down 8degrees. The TS-100 was directly under the exhaust fan. Cool... Took the fan out and modified the base to give some more floor room, then added a humidifier. Was going to install a DIY Co2 generator but my silicone must he too old and didn't dry. I'll clean off, fix and install tomorrow. Ladies look great, I removed the LST wires from the two umbrella leaves. 2 days were enough to get the under foliage to grow past them. Watered 1Lt "water only" PH 6.2 each plant. Added some Epson Salt to foliar spray and cleaned off the leaves on each plant.
