DAY 63 THE FINALE !!!!! Howdy all. I hope we are all well and in the green. This has been a very interesting and rewarding journey for me in so many ways on this journal. I have had the opportunity to run a seed of my own which has been a brilliant result from what I am looking at as I type this. It stayed really squat and has produced some somid hand grenade sized buds that smell of a diesel and fruit combination. I also picked up the lemon from her pollen chuckers genetics too. Should be an interesting cure I hope. I did find a couple of bud rot spots that had to be pulled out but with her density I am not shocked at all. I will be using the dehumidifier for their dry for sure. The Northern lights autos have also finished nicely too and I do think could go a little longer with a push but time is up and the next run is looming !!!!!!. She has some great sized spiked colas to enjoy my attention everytime I go in the room . Just like the other girl , she did have a couple of mould spots that had to be taken out but not too much of a loss thankfully. Her mutant sister will also be put into her dark 48hrs along with these as she is also done now. She has a lot less to harvest but looks so sweet and potent up close to the buds now. I took the Gorilla cookies out earlier in the week as they had finished perfectly. After 48hrs dark I used the bowl trimmer to help with time and get her off the stalks as I did find some mould on them too. Recent environmental changing has bought RH issues to the front again. They have given up some great smelling and solid nuggets that are now starting their drying out period in the nets. The rest of the ladies will be joining them later in the week until I can do a harvest report and my opinion of this amazing light unit from viparspectra. With new projects afoot and lots of re jigging to accommodate them , I am looking forward to the next few runs too. I hope you will join me for the fun and always welcome comments and ideas too. In week 7 the humidity inside my HOMEBOX tent skyrockets again due to bad outside weather (with a maximum of 79% !!!). The plants continue to grow well and the first white crowns of flower hairs (=pistils) can be seen forming on the plants, flowering has definitely started. All twelve AK-47 plants from SERIOUS SEEDS have a healthy green color and LOVE the MILLS nutrients and the spectrum of the SANlight-LEDs. Both Q5W-Gen. 2 lamps are now dimmed to 80 % (=TWO GREEN LIGHTS on dimmer ON) and still WITHOUT the SUNRISE-FADE function (=ORANGE light on dimmer is OFF). The LEDs are still at appr. 70 cm distance of the canopy in order to ensure a proper stretch. The plants develop fast and have FILLED OUT the tent COMPLETELY again after being defoliated last week. On day 47 I decide to give the plants full power for flowering and change the dimmer to 100% (=3 GREEN LIGHTS on dimmer ON). Lets see how this works out, I LOVE how it goes so far...😍👍😎

Day 43/Flower Day 15 - Stretch, stretch and more stretch. Literally have all my headspace taken up and that’s using flat LED Bars! It’s not for want of light, these things HAVE to be getting a DLI over 45 now if not near 50 (I need to do a test)!!! Defs going to invest in 2 Royal Blue LED Bars for next grow. As soon as I bend over/tie down one set of big pushers, another pair start up that were not being shaded/shadowed by the previous set. Worried too with the stretch being as severe, the yield will suffer! As noted in comments, will be venting the building the grow tent is in better very soon but when I can get that done is another thing!!! Looks like I am going to have to pull my extraction out of the tent and run a blow through the carbon filter and get some more ratchet hangers to give me an extra 9"!!! Has to be Heat/Humidity and then the feed from the lights giving them what they need. Luckily, I am due to be receiving a 6" AC Infinity Setup tomorrow so may be the way to set it up just for the last 8 weeks of the grow. Also had 2 brand new RAM 7" Oscillating fans pack up within a few hours of each other...not 4 weeks old and they're done! The Sweet Cherry Pie defs not setting buds as quick as the Red-Hot Cookies...they look a few days to a week behind. This also probably means the last of growing different strains in the same tent! I don't have the space/means to set up a drying tent and need to use the grow space for that so need them to finish the same time. Both these are supposed to be a same week finisher but with the slower budset, I don't know - I could over-ripen the RHC or take the SCP when a bit under. Basically, that's it though. Nothing more to report other than things I have to engineer to get around! From the looks of it, I'll have no room to get my UVB tube in when the time comes but, dunno...we'll see. Have upped the Bloom Nutes now to be higher than the base to fuel the initial flower set. Have a bit of lower leaf fall off from lack of light/plants using the reserves and probs going to have to do a bit of a defoliate by the end of the week to settle humidity and have them top buds concentrated on. Apart from that, Happy Growing all!!! 💪

En esta ocasión tenemos algunas plantas más grandes que otras, tenemos las red hot cookies miden 17 y 20 cm. Las tropicanas 15 y 20 cm y la purple punch og 16 cm. Vamos a hacer una agua con concentración de 1.35 para las grandes y de 1.2 para las que son un poco más pequeñas. Seguimos con un ph de 5.8 y se va notando ya la corrección de las carencias iniciales.

Die Pflanzen haben sich auch in dieser Woche gut gemacht. Man kann den unterschied zwischen sativa und indika gut erkennen. Die beiden hinteren pflanzen sind Girl scout Cookie und Sweet Candy und die vorderen super Silver haze und Berry bomb . Der Weinballon blubbert noch mäßig vor sich hin und jeden zweiten Tag stelle ich ein Gefäß mit Wasser und 4 CO2 Tabletten mit ins Zelt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem gegenwärtigen Wachstum und Entwicklung der Pflanzen. Ich spiele mit dem Gedanken ein zweites Zelt zu kaufen und im Wechsel auch Automatik anzupflanzen um die Wartezeit zur Ernte mit einem kurzfristigen Grow zu belohnen. Dafür rauche ich nicht einmal. Dieses Hobby habe ich meinem Sohn zu verdanken. Er ist so selbstlos und testet die Ergebnisse für mich. Dann wird er sie bewerten ,da ich das leider nicht kann. Habe überlegt vielleicht Edibles herzustellen. Candys, Pralinen oder Gebäck. Wäre dankbar für Erfahrungen und Rezepte . Aber bis dahin werde ich den Mädels noch beim Wachsen zusehen. They getting bigger. i install a scrog net in the next days. They getting also thirstier. Bruce Banner gooooing fast. Maybe to fast i think you see it. Hope the net will do his thing.

Such crazy plants, the buds are hard as rocks and already feel dry and cured while still flowering. It has a very sweet smell and some beautiful crazy shaped buds. Very happy to try out this genetic as well as growing Zamnesia for the first time.

Here are the comments. Continuing on with the sexy ultra awesome General Hydroponics EXPERT LEVEL NUTRIENTS which are making the trichomes and the smell go insane! Can I prove it's the new nutrient? Not at all because this isn't a rigorously conducted scientific experiment but anecdotally, it's making a difference. I have two new white widows that are growing using the expert schedule and they are the healthiest plants I have ever grown. Too bad I didn't start this autoflower with the full nutrients from the beginning. I've never had a prettier plant though, good genetics from Sweet Seeds.

New week

They are bulking up a bit more. Still nice and bushy both, still think both will be female. Finally, colours are getting greener and they are filling out nicely. Last couple of weeks before harvest, when my tent is filled to the edges on all sides and the plants can only go up is the moment I will hit the switch to 12/ 12. Sep 21: fall is here with 12 h of darkness and red tinted sunlight both of which help with flowering. One problem with growing dope here is the UV light is weak this far North in the fall so for most people it’s better to just do autos outdoors and timing it so they ripen during the stronger summer sun and you’re done by the end of August. But if you want reliable big yields these fast flowering photoperiods are definitely the best choice. Sep 23: seems a bit off colour so I added some Alaska Fish Fertilizer for N. Always warming the water to about 26C these days to help keep the plant and soil bacteria warm and happy. Sep 25: this plant and Bruce both got blown over twice today. This is because the small 5 gallon bags aren’t big and heavy enough. The plants are fine. Oh well, the advantage is that I can move them around easily to maximize direct sun. Don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you’re going to immediately use a 730 nm far red light to put the plants into dark mode. It’s a great trick as a bloom booster and moves up finishing time here by a couple or three weeks. Sep 27: harvest will be tomorrow because of some bad weather moving in. Tomorrow will be okay but then rain and cold overnight and even snow forecast for late next week. C’est La vie.

The girls are fully in flower this week which of course is a GREAT sight to see when opening the tent. The smell in the tent is so sweet and fruity it's already making your mouth water!! So this week I feed the girls with a little of the living soil veg so they are still getting a helping hand. They were also given the living soil bloom and some barley which I will admit is the first time using it but so far me plus the girls are very much enjoying!! I have done the necessary light de-foliating on all 4 girls over the past 2 weeks and more LST. Happy toking guys and girls!!
