Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Mar 9th -start of week 11, day 71 - grabbed a few trichome shots this morning. Real macros tonight. Decision time is nearing with ~85-90% cloudy trichomes... clear takes the cake with a few Ambers coming into being... time to look close - RTB #1 gets a close inspection tonight, I think its first-one Done. Pistils give it away. If there are Ambers to any degree its lights out - Zamaldelica is beyond normal flowering time, I’m waiting for the pistils to have 60-70% of them turned brown / orange. Thats tonights check. 11th a.m. - fed the Russian Tzar Bomba 2 & the Zamaldelica, 4 L of water each @ 7:00 a.m. - RTB#2 was placed in the Dark Tent at Lites-out (11:00) for 48 hours of Dark. - RTB#1 gets chopped,, weighed and Hung tomorrow morning… after her 48hrs of dark. Its Time! - Zamaldelica, whilst past her projected grow date by 2 weeks, her Pistils have finally begun to change colours from a Creamy white/yellow to Orange, currently there are close to 20-25% of them turned already. I’m putting her in the dark when 60-70% have turned 12th - chopped the Russian Tzar Bomba #1 after being in the dark for 48 hours. 372 grams of Hanging-plant to start with. - RTB #2 is in the dark 24hrs now and gets chopped tomorrow morning 13th - RTB #2 was chopped and weighed this morning: 380 grams of wet hanging-weight. It seemed obvious, visually, that the small plant would weigh more. With the bigger structure / frame I was sure the tall plant would produce more. Not so - Zamaldelica could be chopped Saturday morning… 15th - last day of week 11 and I believe its the last Nite of Light for the Auto Zamaldelica. 11 full weeks of Love for a 8-9 week auto-cycle. The BBP applications have extended the development of this plant. BBP is known to add a couple of weeks to some cultivars growth and it has done this to the Zam. Trichomes are 90% cloudy and the Pistils have remained a yellowy-white. This last week has seen the Pistils begin to Darken and are seem to be retracting Into the buds. Almost 50% have turned. We’ll see in the morning where we are. Not really interested in taking the grow into week 12. We’ll see tonight/tomorrow. Planning for the plant to enter 48 hrs of dark in the a.m. tomorrow. Last lite for Zam, tonight 16th a.m., took a few images just before the Official Lites-out for this Grow. Zamaldelica was Not part of the official Diary but I could not leave it undocumented, given her fame and poor performance on the 1st attempt. And she shared the Tent!! She’ll be followed and documented, next time Mar 17th 22:00 pm - for the record, Auto Zamaldelica tipped the scales at 402 grams. A True Beauty. - both RTB are hanging nicely @ 60% R.H. and 17.5c Mar 22nd - and on day 10 of hanging the RTB# 1 is doing amazing. No branches snapping, hanging in 62% RH @16c. The other plants are just a day or 2 behind. Leaves trimmed etc, all seems perfect Mar 25th - day 14 of the cure (targeting 20) and things are fully in cure mode. No branch snaps, at all, when twisting a Nug. - steady at 16c and 60-62% R.H.

I must apologize for the shitty incomplete diary. As I was getting into my stride a load of work came along that took me away from home for several months so I had some real issues finishing the diary.. The harvest was good. I had nearly 800g of flower at the chop which were all frosty chunky dense beasts. The terp profile at chop was a very stinky gassy smell which I would call diesel. Incredibly sticky and pungent. Really treated my extractor.. I had them dry for around 10 days hanging in a dark room with a temp of 19c and RH at 52%.. Thank you to Mrs Laritfor sending me these beans. The genetic is fantastic and very stable both my ants were the same pheno with plant 1 producing slightly smaller buds due to an unfortunate branch snapping incident early on. But the smaller buds were twice as dense ..Just lovely.

3rd week of flowering Did a lollipop, took some clones and now I'm making a fungal aerobic tea for the next week. Day 21: Don't know if I defoliate it or not and how many leaves? Just the big ones? Just the low ones? I'm scared lol

well, she spent a week in the growing pot :) it seems the girl was not stressed :) hi, she looks healthy, a bit more leafy, but that's normal, after all, she came from the balcony :D every day I remove a few leaves, because there are a lot of them, she still has a week left and will be cut off: (I would like to give her a little more time, but I'm going on vacation and I don't have anyone to leave such work :) so I'd better cut it earlier :).

Again the super soil seems to save them and provide for exponential growth. I could try to up my humidity, which is somewhat low. But the phenotypes are looking awesomely similar for a no-name brand. This could be a hidden little gem and can't wait to see how they mature. Meanwhile been fighting gnats, tried to get rid of them with a solution of citric acid and water. It seems to help as a contact poison on the soil, while only being a tiny film, so I just don't have to add any citric coming waterings. We like them organic solutions with stuff already lying around the house. Next week I'm going to FIM them and hope this works out better than with my Orange Hill Special grow. Well Im off for this week but not without thanking @MarsHydroLED again for an awesome light! SP -3000 is a monster light, check it out on Aliexpress Mars Hydro Global Store!

This weeks update! Grow tent- so I had a buddy do my res change I talked him through the whole process couldn’t make it to the grow this week. Number and everything where perfect but!. He didn’t close the valve all the way to the blue dream res tank and left the drain pump on🤦‍♂️🏾. So when I got there this week leaves where curling and brown thought it might be a nutrient issue. Opened the res to check it. And there was only about a gallon of water in there out of the usual seven. No major harm I was planning on doing my last defoliation to her this week anyway. But that could have been bad. They are both receiving half strength nutes of the ripening mix GH recommends. Would have been a perfect week if not for that. No harm no foul tho. But def bout to start pushing them on the flower nutes and get back up to my 1000 ppm range buy adding extra bloom formula! #Staykited

~ GG4 SHERBET FAST FLOWER by FastBuds ~ Well fam, here we go again with another epic strain from FastBuds Fast Flowering stable. After having such tremendous success growing their Gorilla Cookies Fast Flower outdoors last year, I've decided to run another of their fast flowering strains outdoors this year... GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower! The best description of this awesome cultivar comes directly from my friends at FastBuds which is as follows: "Bred from extremely potent and flavorful Gorilla Glue and Orange Sherbet genetics, GG4 Sherbet FF (Fast-Flowering) takes all the best traits to the next level, offering a high-yielding strain that can produce up to 600 g/m2 in a 7-week flowering time. This super resilient Indica-leaning hybrid thrives indoors and outdoors, and in all types of climates while producing mouth-watering sweet, fruity, spicy and earthy terps that translate into a delicious sugary hazelnut aroma. Expect an extremely relaxing and overall happy effect that’ll leave you with a huge smile from ear to ear. It’s the perfect strain for growers of all levels of experience seeking low-maintenance yet highly productive photoperiod varieties that deliver quality and quantity without extra effort. GG4 Sherbet FF grows chunky buds with long dark orange hairs and spade-shaped calyxes that get encrusted with trichomes by harvest time, giving them a gorgeous silvery-white appearance. This medium-sized photoperiod can reach up to 200 cm in height and yields up to 650 g/m2 while developing that typical hybrid structure. GG4 Sherbet FF grows with a stocky, bushy appearance, developing one sturdy main cola and fat side branches that support huge yields without much effort. This super-fast variety produces distinctive light-green buds with a high bud-to-leaf ratio, making your trimming sessions a breeze. It’s a top-notch resin producer that doesn’t need much maintenance and will thrive in almost every climate, rewarding growers of all levels with extremely flavorful resin that makes for outstanding hash end extracts." ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower indoors as our weather is still too cold to put her outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 30's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 7/1- Here we go into the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower's 13th week from seed and this lady is kickin ass and taking names! I am continuing to water late in the afternoon on days when we don't get any rain and she seems to like it. I will also be top dressing her in about two weeks to keep the microbial colony fat and happy! 7/3- The weather continues to be hot and humid and the daily watering of the GG4 Sherbet FF continues. I also removed a few shade leaves that were below the canopy, as well as some in the middle of the plant that were blocking a lot of light to new shoots. 🎉HAPPY 4th of JULY!🎉 7/5- Early this morning we had a thunderstorm pass through early in the day, which provided about an inch of rain in a short time. I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the GG4 Sherbet FF approx. 3g of well water from the garden hose. 7/7- The daily watering continues, as does our blistering hot🔥weather. All is well with the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower and today, after watering, I got under the trellis net and removed a bunch of shade leaves that were growing straight down through the net doing absolutely nothing but sucking up nutrients better used elsewhere on the plant. Stick a fork in another week for the FastBuds GG4 Sherbet Fast Flower. This beautiful cultivar has gone through a tremendous growth spurt and I am hoping to see her begin to transition into flower over the course of the next couple of weeks... stay tuned! 😎✌️ Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! 💚Growers Love!💚😎🙏

Week 5 has been a breeze! Going into week 6 we are seeing a lot of great things. The buds are starting to get nice and tight and thick which is so awesome! Every is SUPER sticky thanks to the Bud Factor X. Watering has stayed the same generally. Definitely need to work on our trimming for next flower as there is a lot of lower spots that are super small and not getting much love. We are still learning though! Going into week 6 we will have to create some structures for a few of these branches. The buds are gaining weight and a few branches are becoming a little top heavy.

Supereasy Plant She was Germinating extremly fast, growing vigor without any Problems After Seedlingsstage, they moved into 30l Soilmix, amended with 5g/l BioGrow from Greenhousefeeding She had alittle training like 2 times Topping and minimal LST Plant itself showed great Structure, and fantastic Ratio from Buds to leaves No Popcorn Buds. Only Massive Topcolas, with konic formed dense Buds She smells very various and complex, like Fruits, Herbs, Perfum, Diesel. Depends how near you are, or if you cut her,If you break the flower she turns out the more Diesel part I am very courious to her Taste and effects I had very much fun with this Grow. I harvested her after fullfilled 8 Weeks of Flower ( 56 days) Here is the other Diary of the DEEP Candy CBD , grown as Microgrow https://growdiaries.com/diaries/112859-grow-journal-by-mrs-larimar#

Caught up... things are going well, Bruce stretched like crazy and has evened up its canopy to the others idk if it's that big bud in it or what. Lilac has looked a solid week and half ahead of the others since flower, she looks wicked though, trichromes are starting to build. I've done my last training, I usually go hard on thinning but I'm trying to be conservative and only uncover buds under leaves. Still same feeding routine.. looking forward to the finish line but know this is an important time with terms and trichromes beginning to resonate... I sick at this guy's but I want to get better at chronicling my grows.. so hourly I will improve in the process of Journaling.

Week 4 of flowering , plant going good has 26 cola's, buds forming well👍solid dense nugs that are starting to get frosty with trichomes. Starting to get some smell to them , hints of pine & citrus distance from light might affect final size & weight as it's 60cm away, due to other larger plants I can't lower light, should still produce some nice solid nugs.😊
