Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time. G7 Summit will be interesting in the uk!!

Vegetation Week 3: Steady Gains, Environmental Harmony & the Art of Boring Update: 30.03.2025 What’s up, my Growmies? Week 3 with the Blueberry and Durban Poison was blissfully… ordinary. No drama, no breakthroughs—just the quiet hum of plants doing their thing. Here’s the low-key recap! Current Observations: Subtle Wins Leaf Development: The first true fan leaves are finally unfurling—wider, darker green, and more serrated. My Blueberry lady is slightly ahead of my Durban Poison babe! Stem Thickness: Those once-spindly stems now feel sturdy and stable, thanks to their exposure to light winds. Environment Report: Stability Wins The weather’s been a steady 10–16°C with occasional clouds. Plants are now outdoors soaking up direct light as long as possible (still bringing them in at night—better safe than sorry with these chilly temps!). The "Boring" Philosophy No news is good news! This week’s mantra: Don’t fix what isn’t broken. Watering Rhythm: Sticking to plain pH’d water (~6.3) only when the pots feel light. No overthinking, no overwatering. No Nutes Yet: Biobizz Light Mix is still feeding them plenty. No rush to disrupt the balance. Future Prep: Laying Groundwork Topping Plans: I’m planning to top them next week for the first time! I’ll decide spontaneously if the girls look stable enough, but I’m leaning toward waiting until Node 5 to minimize stress. Slow and steady wins the race—no stunting allowed! Week 3 Takeaway: Slow, stable growth means the plants are content. Sometimes, boring is beautiful. Until next time: Stay grounded, stay growing… and stay blazing! – Smoking_Joe_Frazier

Se lograron estabilizar después del transplante, y logran comer bastante, los riegos son cada 2 días, allá purple nos da una distancia internodal mas corta que la 10th, aun así ambas están hermosas

The first week of Flower is just about in the books. A big week from the girls perspective, but relatively quiet from this growers point of view. On Sun., 5/16 The lights went out @ 8pm to kick off the first week of Flower. On Monday evening around 7pm they got 1 gallon each of the new nutrient mix Bloom A & B and I decided to raise the light up to 36". I wanted to give the ladies a reason to grow again...(I think they came thru.) No water or nutes on Tues. Wed., 5/19 they got another gallon each of nutes, but run-off was more than I expected, so I knew they were getting skipped Thurs. On Fri., 5/21 I lifted the pots again before watering to make a final decision and I was surprised that they were still kind of heavy. Well yes and no. It rained a lot this week and humidity was a b!tch to maintain. I had to buy a new dehumidifier to try and even things out because the small one that I can fit inside my tent just wasn't cutting it, even with the portable air conditioner. There were 3 days were I wasn't able to get the humidity lower that 80% before I was able to get the dehumidifier. I think they girls were stressed and didn't drink as much as they would have...anyway on Fri., 5/21 I gave them 1/3 gallon each of water, no nutes. I figured they'd drink that up and they'd be ready for big water today (Sat., 6/22) but they still felt like there was some weight in there towards the bottom 1/3, so nothing more till tomorrow. I pushed the stakes down a little bit for some LST but that's it. Again, I think it was the humidity this week that kept them from drinking. Today was really the first day all week it hasn't rained at least a little. I have the dehumidifier and the portable A/C off at the moment (after 9pm) and it's about 75 F. and 48% Hum. in the tent. Sad to say, no little balls that I can notice growing yet...but the girls did get a little growth spurt. Comparing the pics/measurements from last week to today, well, here are the numbers. I think I'm being realistically conservative. You can look at the pics and decide for yourself if where I'm measuring to is the right place. Triple Cheese last week: 15.5' this week: 18.5" White Widow last week: 14" this week: 16.5" Critical Kush last week: 16" this week: 20.5" So it looks like the ladies on the ends have taken over the Widow in the middle by a significant margin now. I think that covers everything this week. More to come next week.

Day 70 Well things have really turned around this last week. The buds are hard. They have gotten significantly firmer since flushing. Flushed with Typhoon Cleanse. The smell is a potent blueberry sweet aroma. It and the others are too much for my old carbon filter to handle. I have another ordered. So now I’m just watering when dry til the trichomes are ready and watching the colors change!!! Too bad the leaves were damaged by the lockout. Happy Growing 🌱👍🏻
