Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! I didn’t do any lst, topping or stress training. I am using air pots with some vermiculite, a bit of worm compost mix from local store, and a dash of 20/20/20 when it was a seedling.

Hi ppl, This week the girls have been enjoying the weather.. With the added benefit of C02 and higher temps the plants are coming on fantastic. I found my previous run diary so useful in helping to improve the grow this time round. making sure every fifth feed is just water as the previous schedule was to heavy. Also this week I finally managed to finish making hash from the smaller less dense buds from first run, and wow so turpsy and very potent which I Will be pressing into Rosin for day time medication as the flower is pissing my neighbours off... Good luck all ttfn. 💧 Watering: Every fith feed 🌡️ Temp: 24–28.5°C 💦 Humidity: 65% RH 📈 VPD: ~1.2 kPa 💡 Light: ~850 PPFD

9L Pot was harvest 6 days before 12L pot with 66g dry bud plus 3.1g bubble hash. Total 69g 12L Pot was left for 6 more days and the harvest weight was 123g plus 7.3g bubble hash. Total 130g The buds is rock hard and cover in crystals. The smoke is balanced great hybrid.

Hallo to You all my familly and usual visitors. Thank you for stopping by and all the likes and comments....You rule! That's it the flush is over and on 16 of december i turned the lamp completely off On the last day of light the dial on my Mars Hydro TS 1000 was down to 70% of power. The TS 1000 gives a full spectrum of light and is energy efficient (which is quite a big deal these days ;)) The plant grows many dense buds under this lamp as you can see, Mars Hydro did a very good job producing this lamp. Thanks to Mars Hydro for supplying the necessary equipment for this grow. On 18 of december the water was drained completely from the DWC bucket and as of tomorrow 21 of december i will harvest the plant It was very cold through the whole week with the temperatures in my basement going as low as 12 degrees celsius...but its winter so that was to expect. Watering just the first day no other in the first week

Finally flower. They are 4 feet now. What am I going to do? I don't want them to burn into the light.

Green Crack is wack!! Both ladies got the chop and are drying now. Both packed on considerable size during their last week, hopefully it translates to higher dry weight. Will update in 7-10 days with dry weight and smoke report.

Week 10 So last week I had CalMag problem, you can still see it on her leaves, she was really stunted - not drinking, yellow/brown spots on leaves. Right now it seems under control. What did I change? First of all I looked up, seems like CalMag is best absorbed with pH 6.5-7.2 or something, so one of the mistakes was pH too low - changed it to 6.5-6.8. I think it all started, when I experimented and gave too much nutrients it got “lock out”. That’s why I then flushed it 2 times with only water + calmag at pH 6.8-7 and from then on strictly giving nutrients only according to the table that’s given by Terra Aquatica. Seems like it picked up again, not seeing any new yellow/brown spots. The buds are huge, smell is great, I hope I can farm soon. Do you guys/gals have any tips? (On late flower/drying/curing)

In all honesty I'm not sure if I got the nutrients dialed in . I tested runoff and it was all within range of soiless mixes , calibrated my ph meter every watering as I thought maybe that's why I was getting yellowing leaves . They are still growing and budding rapidly and seemingly on par with what I've seen with others in like mediums so I'm trying not to worry too much . My carbon filter shit the bed already so my Mrs isnt happy with me today as my whole basement wreaks . The plants went from not too bad to wicked bad smelling within a couple days . I've been defoliating but do you think I should do more ?
