12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I am going to change the water Sunday and kick off Week 1, I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. day 68, i know im a week ahead but whatever. She's chugging along nicely, kind of. To be honest she's looking a bit overcooked in my opinion lol, i thought the light may be too close but nope, light meters reading between 50,000-70,000 which is normal, plus the 70k is at the tip of those big colours. Super frosty, smells delicious, its mostly the 2 big colas at the back that need to hurry up, i've included photos. She's had 2 flushes now, last one was a few days ago. So hopefully she'll finish up nicely. No more nutrients, definitely looks like the leaves are starting to deplete themselves of food and may start dying soon. I'm guessing she may be done at day 75? hopefully. gotta remember shes about a week behind because of the time she was stunted. Just a quick update and a bunch of photos :) oh! and a video.

01/09/2022 Finally time to flower, and all girls went into flower room at lights out.The males will be next week, don't want to put them in to early so I will carefully check every day and separate before they open their flowers. I'm guessing week 3-4 I Will select two branches on each female to selectively pollinate. 01/11/2022 Blue Matter #5 (update #5 culled male) repotted with lemon og seed Will continue in her own evolving diary. My hope is to eventually graft different cuts for a multiple variety mom plant, I can have 6 total plants And would be nice to be able to maintain only one mom.

This is the final week! My wife will be having a baby on 3/11/19, so I need to harvest on 3/10 no matter what. The trichomes are looking good. Mostly cloudy with a few amber and a few remaining clear. I could probably push this another 5 days or so, but since this is already a pretty heavy indica, I think this it great time to harvest, particularly given the circumstances. Really happy with the level of frostiness on these buds...they look super dank!. Can't wait to harvest and cure these babies :)

Day 42 FLOWERING: Good afternoon ( in the UK anyway) brownies. It has been a steady weeks bud building this week and outing imposters!. I have somehow managed to mix pits during the initial set up and have two ladies representing their opposite strains !!!!!. Doh The girl scout cookie #2 is actually the #3 Amnesia Haze and the #3 is the Girls scout #2 . I have suspected it for a while but they have failed in their ploy to fool me and their ripening phases have given thwirbruse up. Seeing how similar the #3 was to the #1Girl Scout and how close they were in finishing to each other too , it was way more evident now that the #1Girls scout looks ready to come out for her dark period . She has finished very quickly and i am in no doubt she is done with most of her pistils being a golden orange now. She has many small clusters of buds but is not going to win any yield cups I dont think. She smells so sweet and edible though with a sticky feel too. Her leaves have a really beautiful fade too . So e very nice colours among the cannabalising. I dont think the # 2 will be far behind in her finish either with her pistils starting to orange up now. Now that the #3 amnesia is correctly identified and in the right row , it is clear to see how they all look alike and are at the same stage in bud development. They are a 77 day (11 weeks) flowering period and are still in their bud building stage with a huge production in trichromes taking place too. Thet are so like Gorilla glue #4 in their look which can only be a good thing... The #1 and 2 are bigger than the @3 purely due to the lst I did . They both have medium sized colas for info ar al of their mains so hopefully will have some donkey dick buds covered in frost around week 9-10. Bud porn ahead I think. Normal feedings for these ladies for the upcoming weeks but the G.S.C are going to be fed with water a few days now to let them know its time!!!!. Be safe and red eyed folks. Until next time. tata

2nd grow. Started flowering the first 2 plants and then jammed the other two in as they were getting TALL at 6weeks. Buds came out a little thin, but were 50% red hairs and amber trichomes. I am going to try to crank up the heat and flower longer next time. I’ll be more generous with the nutrients too(800 -> 1200ppm). Harvest pics to come after dry trim.

Herrrrro gang! Welcome to another week of Daank's grow! 8/2: Brought back the Great White. I was reading that it works well in conjunction with other root excelurators, like Rapid Start. I got 2 more temp/humidity sensors for the tent. It allows me to keep track of 100% of what is really going on, I find it to take away worry (b/c temps are very important!). Today was a "eureka!" moment in terms of understanding run-off pH and it's value to telling the grower how healthy the plant is and what nutes may, or may not, be needed. I also got some new LED glasses so I don't burn my fucking corneas when tending to the garden - they are phenomenal and I suggest them if you grow with an LED. Check the videos and photos. Pistils are growing rapidly and baby budlets are starting to form. I'm actually getting a nice subtle purple color - it's very neat. Today's run-off pH was 6.3, and I gave it 6.3 for water - so that's a good sign (I bounce the pH all around from 5.5-6.3). I'll keep track of this moving forward in the diary. Minor defoliation. ***Pro-Tip: If you're wondering what the run-off should be... around +.5/-.5 of what you put in is good. By the end of this week I assume we'll be in full swing. Day 39: I have ordered new nutes, Advanced Nutrients. The reviews, photos, and research all point to using this for the best results. I found them to be a bit expensive, but if I can always get perfect pH values without much of a hassle... I'm down. They will be here by end of the week and I'll transition that over this weekend. I can't wait. Day 40: 8/6 - Advanced Nutrient nutes arrive today. Watering will be a pleasure. The plants look great. The buds are real. Small smell. Trimmed last night quite a bit for bud production. They love George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". It perks 'em up.
