This is a strain that is very easy to grow and resistant, after the fourth week it sticks a lug, and does not need a lot of vitamins, it grew with only 13 and 12 hours of light and went through cloudy days and a lot of humidity

What's a penning?

This girl has got some absolutely beautiful leaves. They have a dark tinge to them, that I don't know if it shows through on the pictures, but it is very cool. I think I may have too many buds for the size of my grow space but I can't decide which to trim or if I'm just overthinking things. Ill leave her for now and just tuck away leaves as the bud sites start to develop and then later trim any, if there are any of course, that may not have time or space to grow....... so for now I'll leave her to decide. she looks indica dominant (I've not checked) which suits me, I'm a fan of indica in a growing sense for my space, but means she will be a thirsty girl in my experience, compared to the sativa dominants. You can see in the photos that she has started to take square shape for her canopy space. I was once worried about her leaves touching the £1 emergency blanket I use as light reflection in the grow cupboard but has never been an issue its way too thin to hold anyway near enough heat to ever be an issue so the shaping also come somewhat naturally. shes under a selection of home standard LED bulbs around 10w, random blasts of UVB from a reptile light (I think helps growing with a slight slowing of the auto influence. My own thoughts from previous experiments only.) the other lights remain on 24 hours with a few 5 min breaks in the timer to cool the bulbs down a touch. I of course talk to her/them on a regular basis which has some scientific backing somewhere showing benefit for both of us.

End of the second week of the stretch and pretty much as expected. One male has gone off early spilling pollen everywhere. The females Id say are a little behind this one but no real worries - we got another 2 males in there ready and waiting to burst at the right time👍. We’ve now pared down the whole tent for pollination and taken cuttings of each fem. Plant for a separate run. Best part there is that we have 3 identified phenos of both indica and sativa dominant traits so we’re gonna get a really even look at what the genetic has to offer, while at the same time being able to isolate desirable traits in the resulting F2 seed. Pretty sick outcome to date 🔥. We moved over to GHE nutes this week to save the Druid nutes for the fem run in the recirc system. Stronger brand for sure, but similar in value and ease. All told, everything is proceeding far better than expected. The rest is just praying that we found a kickass combination in the polyhybrid mix🤞. Till next week yall👊. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Coming down the stretch. They indeed smell like a sweet danky frozen coke. Sticky. I held back on the defol to see what they would do. So I’m anticipating some underdeveloped buds but we’ll see. May defol heavy the last week.

For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought a new one from Amazon that came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent through the day, I would rather finish this Frostbanger run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. so far its looking healthy and bushy! did some slight bending on branches in order to get more light thru to the bottom budsites. i can’t quite pin down her terpene profile yet, i’m getting pine, citrus and possibly fuel but its not strong

Truly been a pleasure to grow this plant cannot wait to grow another papaya. Sherbet is one of the beefiest plants I’ve ever grown consistent thick buds all around on every branch and her fade is beautiful. They really knocked it out of the park this time.🔥🙏

PE will be harvested this week, super excited! Trichomes are just about where I want them, just waiting on a little more amber. PT is chugging along, looking like she’s going to have some larger buds this time! WW is still mostly white in her pistils, she will take longer than PE to finish up. WW in the small tent is looking fantastic, she’s ScrOGed and has been teaching towards the light a bit. Hoping for a big yield off this plant. BW is still small but she looks like she’s getting nice trichome development. Should be harvesting almost weekly, super excited to see how much I get from this entire grow.
