Starting week 3 with good growth on all three plants but plant 3 is doing the best, she has the longest branches and I've tried them downwards. I also trimmed-off the lowest leaves and branch/future bud sights. The girls look good and I look forward to another week of progress.

23/1/22: Two of the plants seem to be maturing quicker than than the rest and are the only plants so far showing any amber trichomes. I may need to flush these from next week. the remaining 4 are coming along though they are coming along slowly. Conditions are kept the same as previous week.

I am excited because the time for harvesting is coming. She is growing too healthy compared to my expectations. Plant #1, which she blooms one week later than my plant #2 about 1 week, I continue to increase the amount of nutrients for her in this crucial stage. Plant #2, she is really my queen, the size of buds and the smell that makes me feel excited. I used a microscope to test her trichome, most of them turned milky that is a good news. So I decided to flush her and plan to harvest in the next 1-2 weeks when 20% of the trichome turns amber.

Today i decided to heavily defoliate the plants. I also found a old feeding schedule from Green House with PH values, and it recommends that i should give an PH of 5.7 on coco. I thought PH 6 was good, but i was wrong, maybe this in combination with the plants being too wet, is the reason for the weird growing leaves, and the problems they show. I cleaned the reservoir and made sure there is no old water in the lines. I made a full strength 10L feed, and added it to the reservoir. I turned the reservoir on for around 3 mins, just to the point that the AutoPot trays are full of water and the valves are shutting them off, then i turn the reservoir off. Harvest: 200g dry total Two big jars full of trims and aery buds. Final update: this is a bit overdue, I've been enjoying the fruits of labor too much perhaps 😎 Buds have been curing for a month in Grove bags, the big one has 100g and the rest are in smaller bags. Didn't need the mason jars, instead I put the trims there. I really like those Grove bags, so easy to use, initial drying and then just filled the bags. No need to burp, just set and forget. Really happy with the outcome, now I have smoke for few years 😂 Many of the buds were a bit fluffy, maybe just because there were so so many bud sites. The main branches were dense and heavy. Also, the foxtailing made some of them look not so perfect but I don't mind really. Smoke is pleasant, flavorful and good high. No anxiety, just relaxed and happy. Still need to decarb and make oil from all the trims, it'll make a big load of cookies etc. which I really like. Gives a steady 2-3h high hopefully. Now I will be having a break for some time, since the current location is not the best for growing. Hope to get back into it soon though, I didn't remember how much fun it is until doing this project again after a long time ✌️ Trouble in paradise, a week ago I noticed spots of mold in few branches farthest from the fan. So I cut them off and put to waste. I also decided to cut all the remaining big branches as a safety measure. Rest of the plant was harvested a week later and now the project is wrapped apart from drying and curing. Overall, it's been fun despite of making some mistakes along the way. But I will take the learnings for the future projects. This was my first autoflower try and I've been positively surprised by it's qualities. Plant was resilient and didn't care that much about any issues it had. It grew bigger than I expected and was actually overcrowded. NFT system worked great, as did the nutrients. The first batch of buds are almost ready to go to curing and the rest will take a week or so to follow. I will try curing in Grove bags and in mason jars. I will post a final update once I get to trim the rest and also try the fruits of labor 😎

Trotz der Hitze in der vergangenen Woche in der zweiten Hitzewelle mit bis zu 40° C. hat sie weitere 20 cm Höhenwachstum hingelegt. Der Preis dafür war dreimaliges Wässern täglich, sonst wäre es zu einem Trockenschaden gekommen und Anwesenheit um einen Mangel schnell erkennen zu können. In der letzten Woche in Urlaub gewesen zu sein wäre tödlich für die Pflanzen gewesen. Im Inneren mussten ein paar vergilbende Blätter entfernt werden, sonst gab es weiter nichts auffälliges und berichtenswertes. Sie ist eine gesunde kräftige Pflanze mit vielleicht etwas zuviel Laub. Kein Fraß Kein Trockenschaden Kein Windbruch Keine Unterdüngung (evntl. etwas zuviel) Eigentlich langweilig... aber das Ziel ist eine gesunde Outdoor Pflanze mit gutem Ertrag. Unfortunately, i have been incredibly busy this week and can only provide the timelapse. photoshooting for the next week has already happened though so stay tuned 💀 She is continuosly doing very well, and boy howdy, does she stink now 😍 Watering stayed the same, 6L 6P, 5ml/L bloom Beginning week 12, i introduced the rest of my green sensation at 1ml/L but that will only appear here next week 😛

☀️ // Day 43 🍁 Hello my friends, we are approaching the final weeks. If the 9 weeks are a reliable prediction from Compound, then this will take 3 more. But I take all the time ithe plant needs since I am doing a growing break over the summer. It just get's too hot in this region to grow peacefully indoors. So there is no stress for me to finish her quickly to go on. If she needs 10 weeks, that's fine for me. The buds are starting to mature. But I mean just slightly, as you can clearly see that she needs at least 3 more weeks. The frost production is superb, she has no deficiencies and the size of the buds is very satisfactory. The leafs are starting to get a real deep green color just like they're supposed to, if you look at the pictures from Compound. The only thing I can complain about is the smell of the plant. It seems very unspecific. If I rub on the trichomes, I get some freshness and some spicyness, which you could describe as dank & "gassy", but that's basicially how most weed smells at the beginning. I don't know if I just had a really good phenotype of the Jelly Donutz in my last grow but that plant reeked right from the beginning how it was supposed to. The whole box smelled like baked goods, milkshakes and dessert sweetness. I mean, there are still some weeks to go and there still is the cure to go through but I hoped to get at least a hint on what this strain will have to offer. Some real gas, some gelato cream or some biscotti dankness would be appreciated but for now, there just is nothing like that. We'll see how she evolves in the upcoming weeks. The plant got 4.5 L of water today with epsom salt. She is still getting water every 4 days, which is totally fine. I mean in the end, the more she drinks, the more she evolves and the fatter she gets, right? ☀️ // Day 47 🍁 Got the usual 4.5 L of water with epsom salt. Nothing to report, smooth sailing. 12.04.21 heute is Anfang der 4. Woche nach dem flip bin begeistert von den Ladys sie sind obwohl sie so viel stress mit machen mussten fleißig am blutenstände produzieren die trichom Produktion hat auch gut eingesetzt jedes mal wenn ich die Blätter unters netz schiebe und wenn ich gegen die Blüten komme kleben meine Hände und wenn das passiert verströmt sie einen angenehm cremigen Duft nach zitrone fast schon limoncello artig....... 13.04.21 hab heute mal wieder gegossen und wie immer jeden morgen Blätter unten halten sonnst war nix weiter.... 14.04.21 moin leute der trottel des Tages ist wieder da hab mir heute (2 Tage nach dem gießen) meine gedanken gemacht bezüglich des absetzen der dünge Zusätze aufgrund von Green Sensation hab gedacht 4 in eins dann kann der rest ja weg und bin heute mal zufällig drauf gekommen beim Hersteller auf der Homepage zu gucken und siehe da ich trottel hätte sugar royal ganz normal weiter laufen lassen können werde es dann beim nächsten Guss wieder mit einschieben. Hab heute den Reflektor auf ganz weit gestellt damit ich mit der Lampe weiter runter komme bin jetzt heute auf 30cm an die spitzen gegangen und werde am Freitag weitere 5 cm nach unten gehen also auf 25 cm an die spitzen ran fahren da ich bei offenem wing und 30 cm nur 23,5 Grad an den spitzen habe solange die Pflanzen keine Stress Erscheinungen auf 25cm erleiden und die Temperatur stimmt bleib es dann auch auf 25 cm bis zur Spülung... 15.04.21 habe doch heute schon die Lampe auf 25 cm gesetzt bin wieder zu ungeduldig 24std hat der Tag das ist einfach zu lang für meine Geduld 😁 hab sonnst nur wie immer dafür gesorgt das alles an blattwerk sich unterm netzt hält.... 16.04.21 hab es heute mal nur laufen lassen und beobachtet was die Blätter so machen muss morgen eindeutig wieder ran und unters netz stopfen 😒😒.... 17.04.21 hab heute wieder die Blätter unters netz gestopft sonnst weiter nix los gewesen. Die Ladys halten die 25cm Lampen Abstand ganz gut aus bis jetzt, Temperatur liegt bei 25,4 Grad also noch vertretbar denke ich. Mal gucken was die Ladys bis Montag zum Licht druck sagen, wenn die spitzen heller werden geh ich zur not lieber wieder nen Stück hoch mit der Lampe..... 18.04.21 hab heut das gleiche wie jeden Tag gemacht, ich hab versucht die Welt-Herrschaft an mich zu reißen 😁😁, ne spass bei seite wie immer Blätter drücken und giessen war heut auch dran. Die Woche lief auch wieder erstaunlich gut hab zwar noch ne ganze ecke vor mir mit den Ladys aber ich bin zuversichtlich......

Will update further after cure complete. Harvested at beginning of 14th week from seed. Of the three plants that finished in this run, this one probably got the best flush even though it wasn't the longest. Started to see yellow and blue by the time it was cut. Mild trimming at harvest. Went 10 days drying at around 60-70RH. Dried on string in boxes, dry trimmed some, moved to paper bag for a few days where RH ended up at 58. May have over dried slightly. Sealed paper bag inside a plastic bag for a few days before continuing to jarring. My drying process was experimental, but wanted better smell from buds than what I'd achieved with other plants grown with this one. The smaller stunted cheese smelled amazing, but the smell faded during dry/cure and it didn't taste the best. That one got the least days flush, but its potential was still evident. This cheese had more dense buds (still not as dense as Early Miss). Some of the buds turned out bluish, most likely because night temps were 57-60F and it was colder during 48 hours dark. It smells just like the other cheese--both Canuk freebies from separate orders. The smoking experience is mild to moderate with a heavy indica lean. Mild-to-moderate head. No anxiety. Heavy body. Too much and it can cause drowsiness. Good night cap cultivar for me. At first, I thought this one didn't smell as strong as the first cheese, but I must be getting desensitized because others say it reeks. I would definitely grow this again, but I doubt mine got up to the advertised 22% THC. More like 15. Yes, this plant was stressed in early grow, but rebounded nicely. Relative to the Early Miss from CKS also in this grow, this cheese is maybe a little less potent even though the Cheese is supposed to be more potent according to the respective company's information. It would make sense that Canuk's cheese is similar to other/original cheese strains which seem to be listed around 15% THC, but who knows, maybe it could become killer with a better grow/grower.

Another wonderful week. Recovery from the topping has been superb. She has grown quite a lot. As of 5/2/21 she will be leaving the veg tent and moving to the bloom tent where she will spend the next 8.5 weeks with another plant, Cotton Candy. The tent received an upgrade to a third TS1000 for the 2 plants. Hope is enough for now.

A lot of rain and wind, continuously. Temps have dropped as well. I’m reading another week or two to chop this plants. Sativa dominant hybrids did the best, the Fastberry and the banana purple punch did not really develop as the other two. In specifics the cbd crack developed sizable buds, and the blue dream as well, the flowers are not as developed tight and dense as in the indoor grow. A bit of fox-tailing nothing too expressive. Minimal work, as per the setup chosen, an no extra nutes this week.
