Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Some mild defoliation this week. Budding up nicely and starting to frost. This girl was having a foliar feed of algae last week but this week she's getting light foliar sprays of the Lacalva stress treatment from madame grow on top of her other feed. I'll do this every 2/3 mornings and I'll only lightly mist the top. I'll concentrate most of my foliar feed on the lower growth and undersides, away from the buds. This is the main reason I kept so many lower fan leaves this time.

What up gromies. I'm back here to put this diary to rest with a harvest and smoke report. After 14 day dry and 30+ day cure these flowers are ready for enjoyment. Purple Cookies from GFS grew short and compact finishing in just 9 weeks from seed to harvest. No sign of purple in this pheno but would you look at the quality here? Amazing structure and trichome production. Everything that I've grown from Ganja farmer seeds has been really impressive. I will continue growing their genetics.👊😁💨

These girls are just days away from harvest! I will closely monitor their pistils, calyxes & trichomes throughout the week so I can determine exactly when to give these girls their two days darkness before chop! They are all starting to fade out really nice and the smell just keeps getting stronger each and every day! After this last feed/flush I will only give these girls R/O-Distilled Water with nothing added whatsoever. Please enjoy the videos I posted of the girls! Thought I’d add some music to the videos vs loud condenser microphone picking up fans 🤣 Only videos for now, I will post actual pictures and macro shots throughout the week before harvest. Update: 9/7 The pistils and trichomes are about right where I want them. I’d say I have about 90% Cloudy, 7% Clear & 3% Amber Trichomes. A majority of pistils have gone from white to amber and have retracted. The girls have stopped drinking water so I transferred them to my darkroom to finish off for two days. After the two days I will chop and hang at 67°F @ 55%RH for 8-10 days until the stems begin to snap.

Switched the Big bud to Overdrive give them that PK boost there needing, frosting and stacking nicely.... took the tip out of 90% of the top bud and I mean the tips like 1 maybe 2 calyx hopefully make them start swelling more instead of vertical growth 🤟

Diese Woche habe ich mir etwas einfallen lassen damit ich nicht nur Photos hinterlasse sondern auch etwas über mein System erklären kann. Letzte Woche Sonntag habe ich einige Plants getoppt und sie schauen soweit ganz gut aus. Ich hatte leider letzte Woche he ein Problem mit dem Root Juice von Advanced Nutrients die Nährlösung in den Tanks ist gekippt. Ich habe es erst am zweiten Tag gesehen und habe sofort alles geputzt und Wasser gewächselt. Danach wieder alles eingestellt und läuft. Ph: 5.7 Ec : 0.9 Ich habe auch jeweils 20g Mineral Magic in die Nährlösung hinzugefügt und 1 Teelöffel davon um den Stil der Plants gemacht. In meinen 2 Videos findet ihr mehr dazu. Happy Growing :)

Great week! Happy with the pistil development. The New and Chemdawg are my longest flowering plant of the four, yet interestingly they’re fastest out of the gate. Bubba’s Gift and Black Dog are taking their time but tight little buds are starting to show and they’re all stretching (The New the most so far). I also added an old spare blurple light, positioned right above Bubba so she’s gets plenty of LED

Tag 25: Umtopfen der 4 Schwestern in 11 l Air-Pots. Ich habe Bio-Bizz Coco mit ca. 20 % Perlite gemischt. Auf jedem Boden der Airpots habe ich ca. 5 cm dick Blähton (Plagron Euro Pebbles)als Drainage und bessere Luftzufuhr an der Unterseite des Topfes eingebaut. Von 6 Pflanzen, die 4 ähnlichsten und gesündesten ausgesucht. Die Blattfarbe ist schon „sehr“ grün😁, daher wurde in dieser Woche die Düngezugabe etwas reduziert. Ich werde es diese Woche beobachten und wahrscheinlich nochmal reduzieren. Die Mädchen benötigen nicht viele Nährstoffe. Sie entwickeln sich optisch eher Indica mäßig, klein, runde Blätter und buschig.....wir werden sehen. Die Temperatur schwankte zwischen 19 Grad in der Nacht und 25 am Tag. Die RLF schwankt zwischen 45 und 55 %. Heute werden die Ladies getoppt, dass gehört jedoch in die nächste Woche.... also dann mehr dazu ✌️🏾

This lady got cut on day 63, I am extremely impressed with how she turned out considering she got nothing but PHed water the entire grow! She is extremely sticky & frosty and has a unbelievable smell everytime you open the jar! Definitely one of my favorite strains I have grown so far can’t wait to see how she does using nutrients next grow! I started using a humidifier as the humidity has been around 45% with the lights on with temps around 80f. Next steps will be topping them.

17 Oct 2021 Today is the 45th day of flower, and according to Humboldt Seed Company, my Ladies should be ready to harvest!! I took several trichome pics of each plant today to check and see if they are ready; and they are!! Awesome! I’ll upload all the pics today for your viewing pleasure. Week 15 officially kicked off yesterday, but today is the first entry of the flush in order to get my girls ready for harvest. Each of my plants received a gallon of water with properly adjusted pH. The initial pH for C1 was 6.9, C2 was 7.0, and C3 was 7.1. I added .2ml of pH DOWN to each gallon which adjusted all of them to 6.4. The TDS going in for C1 & C2 was 85 ppm, and C2 was 84 ppm. Runoff measurements were as follows: C1 - pH: 5.8, TDS: 1796 ppm. C2 - pH: 5.7, TDS: 2086 ppm. C3 - pH: 5.6, TDS: 1979 ppm. The tent temp was 82F, and humidity was 42%. My plants are doing great, and I’ll be flushing with fresh water for the remainder of the grow until it’s time to harvest in a week or two. Hopefully they’ll be done in time for the Diary of the Month contest, but in reality, I’ll just be glad when they’re done! Happy growing everyone!! 21 Oct 2021 I have been a lazy bastard lately. I wanted to water my plants two days ago, but didn’t. Then I wanted to water them yesterday, but again, I didn’t. There isn’t any reason really other than just plain laziness. Today I’ve decided to stop being lazy and to continue the flush of my lovely plants! Each plant is getting a gallon of properly pH’ed water and nothing else. The details for each gallon are as follows: Initial pH for C1 & C2 was 7.0, and C3 was 7.1. I added 0.2 ml of pH DOWN to each gallon which adjusted the pH of all 3 gallons to 6.3. That’s what they were given; a gallon of fresh water with a pH of 6.3. The TDS level going in was 58 ppm for C1, and 86 ppm for both C2 & C3. Runoff levels were as follows: C1 - pH 5.9, TDS 1234 ppm. C2 - pH 5.8, TDS 1326 ppm. C3 - pH 5.7, TDS 1182 ppm. The TDS level for all three plants fell significantly from the first flushing a few days ago. Hopefully the levels will continue to drop quickly so the harvest can commence! My ladies are all starting to show their age now by looking at their fan leaves. Some of them have begun that late flower stage dry out, but not many. The plants are still looking great and their buds are starting to weigh down some of the branches. I’m going to get a few more support sticks to keep them from being weighed down too much and breaking. I’d hate to lose anymore branches before I cut them off on purpose.
