Another boring week in flower. One of the indigo childs is fading to yellow. Checked the trichomes and I'm starting to see some ambers. Will probably wait till 7.5 week. The rest of the indigos will probably go 8-8.5 weeks. The medipak needs a lot more time. Not a resinous as I would have liked to see at this point. But I have a feeling that it might be my fault with not providing them proper environment for a sativa. I also suspect there might have been a fungal issue from the medipak tent as one suddenly died. Classic fusarium. We shall see with the others.

Heeeey all! Sorry for the extremely slow update! The past few weeks have been crazy for me! 😱 This week I made a lot of defoliation and decided to be somewhat greedy. I'll let the plants grow a bit more so they'll stretch well during flower! So while I defoliate I'll allow the plants to recover properly! 💪 Near the end of the week I also made another mistake with Roko (poor baby! 😭). I broke another of the stems (the one that divided the plant in two, right in the middle) and I feared the worst! But so far the plant kept growing without any problems. I'm still thinking a name for my 4th baby, she has surprised me greatly and I didn't notice how many new branches had grown until I defoliated her and I'm sure she'll deliver some great buds! 😍 Anyway everyone, this is all for now. hello growmies! day 51 finally the pre-flowers begin to appear. I apologize for the few photos but unfortunately they really filled the box and I find it difficult. overall I have to say they look in perfect shape! D65: Tried taking some pictures with the macro lens. I'd say the majority of the trichromes are cloudy with some still clear and the occasional amber ones. Will keep track of the evolution. D70: Buds keep getting bigger, the main cola is starting to look like one big, consolidated bud. Trichromes remain mainly cloudy, with some still transparent and some amber ones. Also gave her a flush (10l), since I think she'll be ready for harvest in at most 2 weeks. Next watering, I might add molasses a last time. Smell is strong and really sweet, reminds me of vanilla a little.

The First is Girl Scout Cookies. The 2 others Do Si Dos #33 Last but not least Pineapple Chunk with a massiv Bud.

Blue Dream'Matic is going well the bud sites are starting to get fatter and fatter. I kind of expected this one to stretch more and grow larger, but she still has several weeks to go and I think the buds are going to be huge! 💪 Added Fox Farms Organic Big Bloom to the feeding this week with Recharge. Looking forward to the results.

11/02 - Pre-harvest 109g of wet bud (tare weight of plate 358g). Letting the rest go for some more days. Light lowered to 28cm. 16/02 - Plant fully harvested. Total 209 g wet with all the stem you see on the last pic. Hang drying in 20-21°C, 55-60% humidity. Strong hay smell of the pre-harvest buds, not yet ready. Will update final dried weight later to see the results. 19/02 - After 8 days of drying, the pre-harvested buds have been trimmed & moved to curing stage in jar. 24g dry out of that batch (was 109g wet). Monitoring humidity in the jar to keep around 62%. Still leaving the second harvest to hang and dry 2 more days. 21/02 - Total dried result: 24g nice top buds 13g second grade buds from second harvest 12g loose popcorn buds for edibles Total 49 g / 57 watts 0.86 g/watt ratio. Not too bad, but can and will be improved next run. Lessons learnt: 1. Definitely will build some activated carbon filter to decrease smell. 2. More lollipopping / defoliation on lower parts at start of flower to decrease loose popcorn. 3. More balanced nutes in pre/mid flower to avoid extensive yellowing. 4. Adding bone meal to soil from start to let it degrade fully. 5. Applying 4 times of bottom feed to avoid drying out the bottom of pot. 6. Never let lights closer than 27cm. 7. Maybe try 20/4 schedule. 8. Might let it go beyond week 16 to let trychomes start to amber. Luckily the hay smell is totally gone during the cure. Very happy with the results. Pink kush has been flowering the quickest, she’s growing well and her new leaves don’t show any sign on the claw so good thing I backed off of that two weeks ago. Her preflowers are turning purple and sometimes it almost looks as if she’s bleeding pink blood. I’m giving her big bud already as she started flowering a solid week before the others. Only giving a little lst and defoliation lately. Canna cheese just keeps stretching, I can’t complain because I let her go. I just hope she won’t overgrow her space. She has a nice thick stem and drinks plenty. Only a little lst and defoliation lately. Alien berries so far is the smallest of the bunch, although she’s the slowest to flower, I gave her one more dose of grow nutes before committing to bloom nutes for her. She keeps stretching and gets awfully bushy. Some light Defoliation and little lst. Strawberry Skywalker has a nice fat stem for its size, she’s short but wide and is throwing out some insane preflowers. She gets very bushy so I defoliate and lst her. In the next few feeds I’ll add big bud to the rest of them.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. was busy setting up new tent and light and fixing old one. plants are now in a more controlled environment. new setup has plants feeling better. higher temps and better humidity. probably going to top 2 out of 4 plants. they appear to be coming out of the stress from transplanting and moving and too cold environment. hoping to switch to flower in 2 weeks. big pots are 5 gal and others like 2.5

Week 10...The plants are looking good! Took out the microscope to look at the trichomes...Starting to get milky but still another week or two before the harvest! Started flushing the plant this week!

Day 50. Oh boy .... Most challenging healthy grow I ever had ... Have loads of things covering each other and it's hard to understand, but they constantly unhappy .... Low temps day and nights, different rate of watering, wind damages, too intense lights, understanding feeding with living soil, too high humidity for best VPD and so on .... Loads of challenges !!!! So I decided to harm them more ;))) In the middle of action I was almost regretting it ... But heavy defoliation, SuperCroping and lolitoping session is DONE !!! All 3 Northern Lights are worst in this run. Smallest plant is still in veg or early preflower. All 3 Green Cracks found strength and power and now at least two plants look very decent !! Alaskan Diesel is my love of this run !!! Amazing strain, super fast, super healthy and productive !!! Hope after all that heavy training my humidity will be back to desired 65 , not 70+. Day 52. Long story - short : I am f@ckingly HAPPY, that I did it, plants grew 7 more cm, colas on some and quantity are INSANE !!! Video tells it all ... Day 56. Even if I'll screw up @Seedsman is amazing house ! They just overgrew my setup, I can't crop 25-20 colas on each plant, so tops are burning a bit and yellowing, not best for photos, but amazing for quantity still !!!! ;)))) For this not to be all fun, today I had two hours without electricity, temps dropped to 13 in the night .... All heaters were off ... Happy Growing !!!

This week everything looks great and growing green!!!

at last we are in harvest week. im happy at all it was a good experience. my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are dense and frosty but very little in size! i had some mistakes and problems with this grow so i admit i wasted them . lesson from this grow : grow autos far from fems and always give them 20 hours or more light per day to get good weight in little time.

Hola a todos! Espero que anden bien!!.. Les comento que hice esta semana, la he regado con agua un riego y el último hoy, con nutrientes en sus dosis indicadas más arriba. La planta ha crecido a 37cm ,de todas es la que menos ha crecido pero se la ve bien 🤪 Esta semana he tenido una humedad alta 70% y no la he podido bajar,pero con humedad y una temperatura que ha rozado los 28 grados por momentos, he notado que las plantas les gusta ese ambiente, por eso el crecimiento que ha pegado. Hoy (17/09 ) ,dia 35, de la Auto black opium he quitado las hojas más grandes que tapaban las ramas bajas, espero que en este momento no estrese la planta. Bueno, no los aburro más, nos vemos la próxima semana!. Buenos humos!! Las imágenes corresponden al periodo del 10/09 hasta el 17/09 (dia 35) inclusive.

Flowered her for 56 days, her trichomes were mainly cloudy, with a hint of amber. I removed the majority of leaves, leaving just a few absolutely crusted sugar leaves. She’s been hung as individual branches in my drying tent and will be dried at 55RH - 18*C for between 7-10 days. I’ve posted a few pre harvest pictures and a video. I’ll try remember to post a final dry weight and some bud pictures 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I plant on doing another run of this plant as I took three clones 9 weeks ago, still undecided as to whether I’m going to keep a mother plant. Reducing the nutrients now. She is flowering slowly, I've never grown this strain before as it is a free seed! So I'm letting her do her thing slowly.
