Day 121 (Day 1st Week 19) and the lady's buds are very clearly packing on weight. She is ready ready for a PK boost again! But if I really have to tell my opinion, I think she doesn't need more P, she's growing very well. On the other hand, a boost won't hurt. It's a pity the high temperatures of summer, she may be really suffering the heat inside the grow room. Luckily prosilicate may help her (as it seems to be) helping on this heat issue. Of course everyday I inspect buds to put those approaching the lights farther. Led lights are too bright and may bleach the precious buds so proximity to lights is the real problem of this current grow. Day 124 (24/01/2020) Helaas i found an incipient spider mites infestation, this f*cking plague always makes its way into my grow. Because of spider mites I sotpped growing outside. Really, I do hat these nasty animals and I would eradicate forever if it was in my power. I found a few leaves with inequivocal symptoms of spider mite bites, and in the back of the leaves I saw eggs, nymphs and adult forms. I started treatment with neem oil 5 mL/L applied as soil drench. I'll repeat in 5 days. on the other hand it's fortunate that I have seen them and so I can start treatment soon before they take over the entire plant. 1/5 day for PK boost: 0.5 mL/L Prosilicate + 1mL/L CalMax + 0.6 g/L Bloom fertilizer + 0.2g/L Boost (inflow 530 ppm) pH 5.85 (run off 450 ppm) Day 125 High temperatures again, with the open tent temp is 29.4 ºC inside... I’m quite a novice when it comes to growing auto’s but I thought I’d give it a try after seeing the huge colas some people are producing online. To be honest I’ve never really been too scientific either about growing a bit of bud in the past. just recently I have been trying to research in order to gaining more knowledgeable information on how to grow big fat buds. After reading many reviews I decided to give the Hulkberry a try. Week1: 3rd Nov :Germinate seed sandwiched between cotton pads left on a warm surface. 5th Nov : successful germination. Showing a lovely thick root. Planted in a small pot of normal soil. 7th Nov : She’s popping out the soil. In between the Cotyledons she’s Displaying her first set of true leaves already. 8th Nov : she’s looking beautiful, standing to attention. I placed her on the kitchen window sill to enjoy the morning sunshine. 1.5 cm tall 9th Nov : looking great, placed back on a warm surface. I need to get my tent set up lively at this point. 10th Nov : Got the tent set up. I had a bit of a crazy moment and wanted to experiment a little even with the minimal knowledge I have about it. I used a bit of fresh normal compost, a bit of old used compost, a small amount of worm castings, some chopped up vegetables and around 5/10 red tiger worms from my wormery. I kinda hope everything will be ok

A pretty uneventful week. I barely even photographed her. She's really due for a nice natural lighting photo sesh, but I really need to be in the mood for it or else the magic just isn't there. She still drinks near a gallon a day. Her leaves are super sticky. She has a nice sweet fragrance which I'm excited about! Now let's get those buds to fatten up! 🍆 💪 🍆💪🍆💪🍆

Great strain, would recommend. Nice smoke/vapor, friends love it, stupefying and euphoric, no heavy couch lock like heavy indicas. Taste great in The Mighty vaporizer, citrus with a hint of pine.

Blüten werden inzwischen sehr Harzig und der Duft nimmt zu. Dem Giesswasser wird täglich 1:10 Jauche zugegen. Zu dem jedes zweite Gießen Pro Sugar von Grow Pro ein Kohlenhydrat Blütedünger(von der Mary Jane ein Tester). Zu dem gibt es ein bis zweimal in der Woche Seafeed Xtra von envii. Die ersten Blätter haben sich unten entfernt daher gebe ich gerade wieder Stickstoff zu den Pflanzen. Auch wenn es nur noch diese Woche war danach nur noch Blütedünger. Zu dem habe ich Basilikum gepflanzt, Dill, Ringelblume und Koriander gesäat am Anfang der Woche und zum Ende noch Lupine und Rot Klee.

They grew pretty well. Obviously 1 had alot more veg time and extra training where the other 2 had no training. Could have been better if I had both arms and didnt have the one bad feed where my meter was off and burnt the tips. Easy strain to grow I highly reccomend to any level grower.

Day 35-42 Plants are making a nice comeback (d36) Some minor defoliation around the top was done during the last few days (d32-36) I plan on increasing DLI to 40+ during next week. Some defoliation + LST/leaf tucking + pinching (d38) #3 has comeback nicely and has a unique phenotype compared to the 3 others (d38) #4 has slowed down a little bit. The soil was more dry so maybe a lack of water/nutes intake (d38)

1/14: All 3 are looking great! This morning, I did a foliar application of big bloom and fulvic acid, then about 5 hours later I watered them with about a half-gallon of rainwater each and added armor si, humic acid, endoboost myco/tricho, liquid molasses, and a bunch of cal-mag. Today, I also I wired up and mounted my new samsung sun board strips (660nm/730nm) and my Solacure FlowerPower UVB fixture. I'm running the deep red/far red bud boosters a few hours per day right now, but will run them for the entire photoperiod once I start flowering them. I'll run the UVB for 4 * 15-minute sessions a day for the full flowering cycle, and if they don't protest too much I'll increase each session by 5 minutes and evaluate again. Some strains are more forgiving than others and I've got 5 different strains in this space...so really not sure much time I'll get away with exposing them to the deadly rays without damaging them too much...😈 1/15: I received one of the rapid led/growmau far red initiator pucks today. With the placement of my UVB light, I'm realizing I'll need another far red puck to have even and intense far red coverage, so I'm ordering another with Prime delivery and waiting to start flowering until I receive it. I sprayed them down really well with ph adjusted rainwater tonight to rinse off nutrient build-up from foliar applications. 1/16: I'm really excited to try flowering under 14/10. I grew photos indoors on an off for 15 years before I semi-retired. If I added up all the additional flowering time I could have done through the years if LED technology existed, I'd have had an extra truckload of bud to smoke. I did another application of Axiom Harpin a|b Proteins this evening, right before dark. I'm expecting a big growth burst this week, leading up to the flower stretch. I really need them to trigger under 14/10 within 4 or 5 days🙏 ...if not, I'll switch to 13/11 and wait a few more days🙏😟..if still no pistils are poppin, I'll go to 12/12 and chalk it up as bad luck or varietal indifference to Pr and Pfr manipulation. 1/17: I fed each of them about 3/4 gallon of full strength veg nutes. This will be the last. - Week 6 - ----- Day 36 ----- No feeding today as it was tomorrow so nutrient line up isn't up yet. I'll do that tomorrow. Ladies are perfect, I can't wait. less than 30 days away. ----- Day 37 ----- Today is feeding but back left is behind the other 3 again, gave the other 3 500ml of tap water (10ppm) to prevent turgor pressure loss while back left dries up. Should be feeding in 3-4 hours. 23L 1100-1500ppm (new feeding, so ppm end is not known atm) 6.4 pH Plants are insane, big Bertha has become middle Bertha as the other stems have fattened up quickly. Speaking of which plants are in bulk period, 3~ weeks left so it's an exciting time to watch them fatten up. **UPDATE** Fed at 1000ppm 23L 6.4pH The removal of FloraNova Bloom, and letting the chelated Diamond Nectar go to work on the molasses brings down the "accountable" parts by the machine I use. 1000ppm is full strength on all fertilizers being used. I might add more molassses in the future and bring it up to 2ml/L, and maybe a smidge of epsom salts next feeding via foliar or direct feeding after I do some research. No more KoolBloom liquid, KoolBloom powder begins and she's a strong one. ----- Day 38 ----- Yesterday back left plant has me unnecessarily anxious. It didn't need watering till 2 hours before lights off. What I did is fed the other 3 90% of the feeding, and only gave back left 10% (closed the irrigation heads till the end of feeding). I'm HOPING it was the plant transitioning from pre-bulk flower to bulk-flower stage, and maybe it slowed down photosynthesis to concentrate on hormonal changes. I dont know I'm anxious and just talkin out loud. I'll know within 72 hours if there's a major issue with back left. Plant looks fine, i'm just paranoid. Pictures later today around mid light cycle. Buds are getting insanely fat. **Update** Was bored. Here's some wicked shots. Still 25-27~ days left and its big bulk time. Can't wait to see them at the end. ----- Day 39 ----- Everything is great. Feeding late tonight or potentially tomorrow depending on back left plant. I want to make sure bottom center of the root zone has dried out and doesn't begin to mold before I water again. This will also help prevent fungus gnats in the soil. I'll keep the other 3 away from turgor pressure loss, but they got 90% of the feeding last time so I expect them to dry by the time back left is. *** Update *** Now the other 3 plants who were faster on water intake than back left yesterday have slowed down. Weed growing knowledge at a Horticultural greenhouse scientific repeatable level is pure fucking garbage. I have 6~ books and checked dozens of sites and there was major conflicting info on water intake. That's the problem with cannabis, it was illegal for so damn long horticulture practices and knowledge never molded or were used in the process and now it's anyone's fucking guess as to who is telling truth or is spouting bullshit bro-science. Don't even get me started on names. What a stupid god damn naming system "counter-culture" created... I'm growing wedding cake.. WEDDING CAKE? Wtf. That's stupid as shit. Give weed botanical Latin names based on appearance and technical factors PLEASE!!!!!! If I could name this plant it would be (Cannibas v. hybrid 'multa-magnum-fragum-gemmae-dulcis') why? It's due to it being a; Cannabis plant, hybrid variety 'multiple big bud strawberry candy' showing off multiple long bud stems smelling of candy, Is that more convoluted and arrogant than Wedding cake? YES, it is. Is it better? YES fuck your stupid wedding cake name. That's dumb. And you should feel bad. Still want to argue? Name it Cannabis v. Hybrid 'crustulam nuptias' THERE! Wedding cake. fuuuck! 99.99% of plant names are Latin. Anyways... back to the point... I hypothesize that there is a secondary transition portion of flower where the plant (like in stretch transition) pauses its growth to move the hormone and nutrient production to other sources. This secondary pause happens JUST before bulk session begins. This hypothesis states roughly that up until final big bulk period (last 3-4 weeks), fan leaves and sugar leaves could still be produced by the plant during a "predator" or "high weather event" situation that would cripple the plants photosynthesis for final bud/seeding production during early to mid stage flowering. Once the plant has reached adequate nutrient reserves or some other time or light cycle based trigger, it removes the hormonal/internal production/ability of sugar/fan leaves still being potentially produced out of the internode stem cells and fully stops that ability and concentrates 100% of growth on bud structure and protection of bud structures through THC/CBA/CBC/CBD etc. (Im a little tipsy, can't spell cannabinoid leave me alone...) production. Tonight I will at 30 minutes before lights off be judging the water requirements during sleep of each plant to prevent turgor pressure loss, and to allow each plant to finish this transition and get back to major water intake by feeding tomorrow morning. It's insanely obvious somethings changed. I Was worried that leaving back left plant with stagnant water in the bottom saucer (pot doesn't sit directly in the water but is 3 inches above it) had released mold spores and started destroying the root mass of the back left plant but: 1) No obvious plant death signs, weakness or other aspects of it being a slow death from bottom up. 2) The other plants did the same damn thing within 48 hours.... and the back left plant is by far the largest and gets the most "light" due to its size hence it would most likely (HYPOTHESIS) finish its secondary cycle a bit faster due to just volume and weight. Listen i'm not gonna say this is all 100% correct knowledge, It's based off feeling and "knowing" plant cycles as a greenhouse certified Horticultural Technician. Repeated efforts to grow and replicating situations that created these things over and over is the real proof and will come in time. One major benefit is the fact I WILL be re-flowering these for the VERY LEAST 3 full flowering cycles as long as they don't die during flower to veg transition. I will be getting them THC tested EVERY SINGLE flower cycle to prove without a doubt the "maximum maturity" possible of a weed plant re-veg flower cycling, just like how we know by the 5th or 6th successive clone, the DNA will deteriorate and the grow will be stunted or a lesser bud high and yield. God I fucking ramble when I'm bored and tipsy. ----- Day 40 ----- Fed at 1350ppm 6.3pH 23L Plants are doing great. **Update** Little fun video from mid light cycle. Roughly 20-25 days left. Will finish at 30% amber 70% cloudy and will cut branch by branch as they are done, not in a rush to do 1 single cut and will let them survive to re-veg easier and less stressful. ----- Day 41 ----- Easy day. Here's some pics. Just basically have to watch the grass grow today. ----- Day 42 ----- Big photo day, used ruler for most shots. End of beginning of bulk, big bulk starts tomorrow. Could probably feed late night tonight but I'm going to just give 500-750 ml of water depending on roots needs before lights off. Tomorrow will be a big feed for first day of week 7. Tropicanna Glookies tips on back right are beginning to darken and become purple. I am hoping this whole plant turns purple in last 2-3 weeks. We will see. **Update** Back right plant is starting to turn purple and FAST. Pretty awesome.

Hi guys, At the end of the story, I am very happy with the whole cycle and finally the outcome, since I almost killed everything in there 😂 The Z&Z is a well balanced 60% - 40% Indica - Sativa dominan strain with a short flowering period. I did have problems throughout the cycle overfertilizing the plant. This is on of the strain that did notice more my mistake, can be clearly seen on the final product. Iinfact, a good part of the flowers, went for bubble hash. I topped them, and then practiced LST training to help them growing wider. Probably If I wouldnt have messed up with the ferilizer I would have had a much better final product, this time, talking about quantity and quality. The whole plants were dried for 18 days after which they were finished in jars for another 6 weeks, if I dont fell sooner. Really looking forward to grow this strain again Indoor, I'am amazed by the terpene profile and the amount of resin they've produced, even under my multiple attempt to screw em!! STRONG GENETIC! I would like to thank Grow Diaries for this amazingly-organized community they have created, where we all can learn a lot, and share something we really love. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and looked at the diary, squeezed the like button or comment the diary. 13/12 I'VE MADE MY FIRST RUN OF BUBBLE HASH! Very very happy with the end result, did not weight anything yet because is still wet big time, I lightly squeezed it a bit, before let it drying on parchment on a cardboard. The smell it's just absolutely crazy. I can smell strong citrus notes in the 120µm but the 90µm and 73µm explodes with crazy-sweet note. While the 25µm (did not use the 43µm) where I did collect most of the hash, smell like good and sweet hash, nothing crazy like the previous ones but a very buttery like consistency that makes me want to eat it like this...dont ask me why...even though I know you all probably felt this way too... Anyway, the paper sheet says it all about timing, washes and µm used for the extractions, but just in case I'll explain it down here. I have done 3 wash with different timing. 1º wash: 5 min only to get the most brittle trichome heads 2º wash: 10 min stardard 3º wash: 30 min to stock up a bit 😅 I could have done an extra wash for sure and get more out, but I was running out of time so...I will update with the dry weight, it was not the only wash I've done, that were just too many grades to weight up..so I chose to do it once all dry!
