One of the 3 GDPs have thrown preflower pistals at the very end of week 3 which is disappointing but I’ll trudge on & try & get 5 minimum 4 solid weeks of veg out of the other two . This clone smells killer omg hash plant/christmas/sweet/heavy skunk. It smells killer and is a decent resin coverage it looks like coming in early like this in week 3 in flower. It filled in the 18"x 24" space i had open just perfect. She gets a heavy feed of canna nutrients @ ph of 5.6-5.7. I think staying on higher side of nutrients and back off if I see burn has been doing good on chimera run and don't tend to b hurting this clone either so full steam ahead! About day 38 i am just realizing that i am stupid and been feeding the biogrow for cocoa coir 🤦‍♂️ way iver nuting with soil it says never to go over 1ml/L So i will be flushing for at least 1 or two waterings. Looking for the tip burn to stop spreading and the tips to not look like there clawing

I had a busy week. I updated my 4" exhaust fan to a Cloudline 6" booster exhaust fan and a bigger carbon filter. I also added another mini-fan that can oscillate and I had to add a heater. Why you ask? Because I got a CO2 tank from a friend and it is recommended to have temps in between 85-95 degrees. Granted I could have used it three weeks ago but better late than never. I have a nice CO2 monitor inside the chamber and I use the internal video camera to watch the readings. I have also added some HydroGuard to help the roots. They are slightly brown and another grower recommended it. Daphni continues to grow well and has maintained her dark green color. She has also started to make pistils and they are starting to form into buds just three days after first pistil sighting. I can smell her now too. latest readings are Air Temp = 79F, Humidity = 42%, PPM = 1810, pH = 5.9. Concerning my roots, I put a black trash bag over the top of the reservoir to keep as much light out as possible. The reservoir is tan and white and I think light was getting thru.

Smell is getting more intense as expected a pleasant mix of flowery and piney notes filling the space. Because of my hay fever, I couldn’t really air the room out much, so conditions haven’t been too favorable. Humidity is creeping up, so I’ll need to turn the dehumidifier up a notch. CO₂ levels are also sitting quite high. Buds are swelling nicely, with lots of long pistils reaching out. At this stage, I’d say they’re medium dense, i don't expect rock solid buds from this strain.

The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing thick and fast, with very short node intervals creating a thick canopy. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. The Indica dominant strain is really shining with incredible dense growth and thick branches that don't bend as easily as it's Sativa neighbour. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. One more week of vegetative growth before switching to flowering although I may need to switch earlier due to the vigorous growth and considering the stretch yet to come. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. Cloning procedure: Immediately place into water upon cutting. Remove bottom nodes at base of stem, scratch stem gently with scissors + cut small slit on end of stem. Dip stem into water, then dip into rooting powder, then firmly plant into moist soil. Cover with Ziploc bag (humidity dome). Solo cups have 4 holes in the bottom (Melted gently with a lighter) (same soil as shown in diary for germination) The soil was pre-moistened before the seeds were planted. (lightly watered, then top half of solo cup was stirred, to promote absorption (very dry soil))

For my first experience using salt type nutrient, everything seems to be going well. No deficiencies and no signs of stress. Mixing is super easy and everything dissolves 100%. My lights were gradually raised by 5-10% every day until 100%. Beginning the week PPFD was almost 1000, now it is almost 1500 PPFD. To supplement all of the light these plants will get, high doses of CO2 are given during daylight hours. The room stays at 1500ppm at a minimum. By weeks end everything under the net will be stripped and the canopy thinned of all large fan leaves. One big stressful event, so the rest of flower the plants can be left alone to bloom. It’s best to do it once IMO. I believe things are right on track. Calyxes are already starting to form on all of the plants and things will only get better from here. 11/7/2022: decided to lower my scrog net 2 inches. Was probably a little late, so I had to do some super cropping to get the plants under the net. A little concerned since they are autos, but the plants are all still very healthy, so hopefully thete won't be any issues. Watered with the coconut powder and added some BuildASoil BuildABloom for the first time today. Also dropped the humidity down to 55% now that flowers are starting to develop. Puts my VPD at about 1.45. 11/9/2022: watered about 1.3 liters each, with Fish Shit, Bio-Phos, ThermX 70, and coconut powder. The snapped branch and supper cropping seem to be doing well. Looks like all three plants are near the end of stretch. The Strawberry Gushers continues to stack, and a few hairs are starting to brown. The tricomes are starting to develop as well. She smells funky. Almost sweet and sour. Something really unique. Excited for it to continue to develop. The Newberry and Orange Bubblegum aren't smelling as much yet, but they are a week or two behind. The Newberry has a bit more of a musky smell, but pretty faint still. 11/12/2022: fed all three a compost tea yesterday and they loved it . Been praying all day. The Strawberry Gushers has a minor purple stem, so I thought the tea might help. This may just also be the genetics, since this strain tend to turn purple in late flower. Figured the tea couldn't hurt and the girls are all reacting positively. Otherwise, thay all remain healthy. 11/13/2022: made a sprouted seed tea today using corn and watered about 1.3 liters to each plant. Avg. VPD:1.45 PPFD: 700 DLI: 45

Hello Growmies, We're in the third week of vegetative growth with our Epic Buzz plants by Anesia, and they are a sight to behold with their rich green leaves signaling strong health. The growth has been consistent, with new leaves unfurling and the central stem gaining girth, ready to support future flowering. The root development, while not visible, is indicated by the stable and healthy growth above ground. Our watering schedule is on point, with the roots expected to be expanding in kind to support the lush foliage. Feeding these plants has been a regimented process. We've been nurturing them with a mix of Orca, Rhizotonic, and pH-ed water, providing 100 ml of this concoction every three days. The plants are responding well, showing no signs of nutrient burn or deficiency, which is exactly what we want to see at this stage. There have been no issues with pests or environmental stressors, which is a testament to the vigilant care they've been receiving. As we keep our environment stable, we'll continue to see such positive trends in their growth. Looking ahead to the fourth week, we'll keep a close eye on how the plants are reacting to their nutrients. Adjustments will be made if necessary, and we may start to think about training techniques to help them grow wide and ready for a bountiful flowering period. Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients.
