On day 1 I did another light defoliation. The plants are progressing as expected. The only issue I'm dealing with is fungus gnats... ugh. I will keep applying BTI weekly until the population is under control. On day 3 the plants are putting out more pistils and seem to have stopped or slowed down their "stretch" phase. On day 4 I'm starting to see some trichomes forming on the sugar leaves, no smell that I can discern yet. I also changed out my reservoir and applied a BTI soil drench. On day 5 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. I also purged my blumat system to make sure there are no clogs as my reservoir has fertilizer particles due to my water heater causing separation. I must keep the water heater on as I am growing in the northeast coming into the cold time of the year and can't have my reservoir freeze on me. On day 6 I adjusted the PH of my reservoir down to 6.1. On day 7 I adjusted PH in reservoir to 6.1.

I'm continuing to flush all three and the #1 and #2 pheno's are really getting some beautiful coloration! The #3 plant that has struggled the entire run is so pale she almost looks white, but she's the terpiest of the three, which I think is due to the stresses that she's been under. All three cultivars are covered in frost, and on the #1 and #2 pheno's the trichomes even cover their shade leaves! 1/5- After checking the trichomes on all three I decided to begin their 72 hours in the dark when today's light cycle is finished. All three plants have 85-90% milky trichomes with 5% amber showing, and will continue to mature during the 72 hour dark period before they are hung to begin the drying process. 1/8- Well, today is the day! All three Strawberry Gorilla's were released from 3 days in 'dark🌑jail' and all three look absolutely gorgeous! 😍 All three Strawberry Gorilla's are loaded with trichomes, and each has its own unique terpene profile with the #3, shockingly the 'loudest' of the trio. The #2 is the best looking of the bunch IMO, with the #1 taking the middle slot. After taking some pic's of all three, I cut them each off at their base and hung them in my AC Infinity 4x4 to dry for 10-14 days. I have the tent equipped with a de-humidifier, humidifier, and a fan to keep the air gently circulating. It's winter here so I'm pulling in outside air into the tent which is keeping the temp's in the 55-60℉ range, and I'm keeping the RH at 50% for the first 24hrs, then I'll up it to 60% for the remainder of the hang time. What else can I say, this plant is a beast!! She is bursting into flowering quite nicely. Pistils are popping out everywhere. I have found a little bit of powdery mildew on a few fan leaves so I will have to up my mildew spraying with OMRI fungicide to once every 3 days. I will rotate between two types to stave off resistance to them. I did a little top dress with my flowering mix of dry amendments. She seems to have liked it. This plant is healthy and happy with the exception of a little PM!! I’ve battled PM before so I know this foe well. I have conquered it before and will do so again 😎 😎🍿🍻🌱

The beast plant is yellowing a bit. i think its either because it got to big or its getting heat stress. a little curious, but nothing to do but truck on and see how things go. all the other plants seem to be very happy and doing things the Mephisto way! Some good weather this week. Haven’t done anything but water(6.5ish). Gonna do nutrients one more time at next water then start flush. Buds have been getting a little fatter. Smells good and decently strong. My guess is harvest will be around week 11-12

This past week has been a blast! After getting these ladies nutrition straightened out, they are thriving!💚🌱💚 I gave defoliated wayyy more than what I see other growers traditionally doing. After the "3rd and final haircut" I defoliated two more times 😅 Thank you the GD community for the support and resources along the way 🙏 My only concern now is the tent actually becoming too crowded.😆. Eccoci ragazzi! Una settimana e qualche giorno sono passati, finalmente anche questa ragazza ha buttato le radici in acqua e sta crescendo molto rapidamente, speriamo che nel giro di una settimana sia più o meno grande quanto la sorella e che sia un minimo pronta per essere mandata in fioritura, l acqua verrà cambiata tra circa una settimana per adesso ho aggiunto solo un po di cleance per tenere le radici pulite, per il resto sembra tutto ok, apparte un po di variazioni del ph, ma sono cose normali in Hydro penso.. Dai ci vediamo alla prossima settimana e come sempre ringrazio Terra Aquatica per i nutrienti fenomenali e la loro fiducia, Mars hydro per l attrezzature professionali e Anesia seeds per la genetica davvero che promette molto bene!
