D60. I'm back again after being out of town for six days. Not much has changed, to be honest. The flowers have fattened up a bit, and I see the first signs of senescence. ------------------------------ D63. We're at the end of the fourth week of flower, and all is well. The Gorilla girl will soon be alone in the tent as the Purplematic will get chopped in a day or two. I will also change the lights, moving the Kingbrite light into the photo tent, and I'll put my trusted Viparspectra P600 in this tent instead. That will save quite a bit of energy, which is good considering the insane electricity prices we're having right now. ------------------------------

13/12 in week 5 i started by adjusting LST mainly on the Blueberry a bit since she was getting real bushy. I will probably defoliate at least the first pair of leaves. the others i try tucking away but they keep overshadowing the two lower main nodes. Blueberry really started drinking now, her pot is getting really light. Afghan kush not so much, she is still sipping on the last watering. I hope Afghan Kush ramps up overnight by some miracle cause i really like to always water them both at the same time, rather than having to prepare nutes twice and them being on a different watering schedule. but oh well! Blueberry will get her dose tomorrow, we will se about the afghan. Not much happened until now, they slowly begin their stretch now. maybe we will see some proper early flowers by the end of this week! Judging by their grow rate, im guessing they will take their sweet time, 12-14 weeks or something. Which sucks cause i got brand new air pots i want to try! but you cant win every gamble with autos. 14/12 Watered them with 2 Liters after 7 Day Break. Blueberry picked up the pace, Afghan was "dry enough". Ususal nutrients, added some minor calmag as prevention for any future deficiencies. 18/12 Watered Blueberry with 2L, 2ml/l Grow, Activera and Rootjuice, and 0.2g/l Microbes. Defoliated both of them pretty good. Afghan is skipping watering until 20/12, which will be week 6, she is still a tad too heavy for my likings. 19/12 just some minor leaf tucking and defoliation of the lowest leaves on the afghan. Watering will still take place on 20/12. Will add timelapse for this week tomorrow!

Weekly update: Crazy how time flies when your having fun. Seems like yesterday I did last week's update. I did some defoliating and lollipoping on them this week and switched from grow nutes to bloom. Wild how fast the preflower sites grow as it looks like they're everywhere. I'm still feeding 16oz per day, some are drinking more then others but overall Happy Growing.

7/22/2023 - Day 18 Veg: she is definitely small for her age. She looks healthy, so I'm assuming it must be a watering issue. My environment has been dialed in with an averge VPD og .85, so the plants should be growing well. The cover crop is doing great. I've only been watering every 3 or 4 days, so I'm going to try watering more often, but with less water. Not too worried about it as long as she stays healthy. I had the light pretty high, so I dropped it today, bringing the PPFD up to just over 500. I was at about 300, so that should get her going. The shore fly issue seems to be getting better, but it comes in waves, so I'm not sure if I've been totally successful yet. 7/23/2023: foiler fed today with Pure Protein Dry, BuildASoil Big 6 Micro Nutrients, calmag, silica, and ThermX-70. Also did a light watering with the same mix. 7/24/2023: it looks like she like the foiler feeding yesterday. 7/25/2023: today is veg day 21, so officially the three week point. Watered today, mixed with silica, calmag, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and Yah-Whey Thrive. 7/26/2023: Time to chop and drop the earth box today.

So WHY is this auto taking so damn long to mature??? Is this normal? It's my first hydro grow, but my wife's soil grow started after mine (more than a week) + was grown in the exact same room .... but has been harvested over the past TWO weeks. Thoughts? Not much needed doing this week. Did a huge trim mid week that was posted to a mid week update in last week's diary entry. She didn't like it at first but then bounced back pretty well. I think I have a very slight touch of nutrient burn on some of the tips, but it could also be a touch dry as we're having a hard time keeping the room over 40% humidity as the outdoor temps here are stupid cold recently. Hoping to harvest in 2 weeks or so.. but could be longer. Urgh. She's a big, bountiful, heat-loving lady that's finally a under a bit of vegetative control... but apparently REALLY likes to take things slow.

To think I thought she was stunted! Doing really well this week, temps are skyrocketing where I’m at and will remain high this week. We had a lot of rain earlier this week, which seems to have helped her, but also brought some fungus gnats around. I’ve been using yellow traps + am going to let this heat finish drying out the top layer of soil.

Alright lads 💪🏻 so we’re starting week 2 today - the girls are all having there own individual issues the joys or running multiple strains again 😂👌🏻, but we’re all looking really wellz so left side is looking a bit N def hungry still so I’ve upped the bio grow to 2ml and the right side is still showing she’s still got some nutes left from repot as shes good I’ve just left that to 1ml bio grow. All the clones are looking nice lush green, all starting to take shape now🕺 wait another 2 weeks until I start to flower them.. and see which of my keepers are as clones then take cutz off them before flowering my actual clones tent, keep the cutz in a separate tent and start popping more seeds of this next round. Either ripper seeds new limited edition or lit seeds can’t decide..😅, anyways gang cheers for stopping by until next week and we can see some bud formation happing 💪🏻 Update - end of week 2 of flowering - I’ve given them all a fair defoliation and taken a lot of lowers of to start focusing it on them tops. Still looking a bit pale lack of N but we should be okay if it seems keep progressing al just up feed to 2ml per litre. Other than that it’s going fairly smooth.

First off, I hope all who visit this journal watch the timelapse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. The GSC is in the foreground. Comparing the beginning to the end shows just how dramatically my plant has grown in the past week. This plant now has a photo-period neighbor! I have changed the light schedule back to 18-6 to accommodate. Her chronicles will be in a separate journal. Towards the end of week two, I noticed the leaves were forming brown spots that I took as a sign of calcium deficiency. To treat this, I used a gallon of (hard) tap water, adding calcium to the reservoir. Luckily this seems to have done the trick! The spots have been absent on all subsequent leaf growth. Sometime in the middle of this week, I had to re balance the pH from ~7 to ~6. Perhaps this pH fluctuation came from the tap water transfusion. In an effort to raise the RH in the tent, I've repetitively spilled a small amount of water on the floor of the tent. Doing this keeps the RH around 45-50%. I've made some other small changes to my grow setup as shown in the pictures. Prior to this week, I'd thought my plant was hopelessly behind developmentally compared to other user's because I'd compare their week two plants to mine. Luckily, this week has seen some growth! It's crazy how fast they shoot off after their first three-fingered leaves form. The first "real" set of leaves to grow in (not three-fingered yet), seemed to take forever to grow into their full size while not much else (besides the roots) seemed to grow. This week's three-pointed leaves have practically fully formed already. Alongside them, are the beginnings of yet more leaves! I'm not certain what I will do this next week. I may start LSTing this plant, though I'm not sure when exactly I should do this. My original plan for my plants was to implement a screen of green using a trellis. I have sense realized this may not be the best approach while using a DWC, because water changed would be made much more difficult. Have any of you DWC growers experiment with this? Is it worthwhile? I will likely not replace the water for another week, though that's not set in stone. I appreciate any advise regarding the training techniques I mentioned, water switch outs and anything else that may be relevant to this grow. I will more than likely ask a few designated questions. Day 15: Plants looking healthy as can be! I didn't make a rack for the lights but I got em in. Looks jankie, but I think its gonna work. 🙏 Day 16: Trying to work out kinks in my grow. Since I put the other 2 lights in, I'm now battling the heat and humidity. Switch the fans around. Got the cold air coming in down low. Will feed them in the morning. Day 17: The girls were showing signs of being thirsty this morning for sure! They received their first drain to waste watering. They will be getting some additional nutes on the next feeding (AN B-52, AN Sensizyme, AN CalMag Extra). Day 18: Looking amazing today! I tried my hand at a little LST. Wish the girls luck.!! 🙏 Tomorrow is the official 2 week mark from breaking ground. So, not sure. I've got the humidity finally dialed in at around 50-55% and the temp around 78°. Also gave them another drink as they were already dry about 1.5" down?? Day 19: This is the official 2 week mark. I think I stressed the girls pretty good yesterday, but they look to be recovered today. Should start seeing good growth in the day to follow. Will just be tucking a leaf here and there for a bit. I will being doing a straight water feed next with Great White. Day 20: Nothing new to report other than found 2 leaves that had some yellow mottling. I added Sensizyme, Recharge, and Great White to this feeding. Did not do drain to waste. Just watered the outside perimeter. PPM was 260 at 5.8 ph. Day 21: NO MORE NUTES for these girls! Tips on a couple of em are turning yellow!!! Stupid me. Over watering and giving too many nutes.

Dirty Aquarium Water: 6.43 pH 381 PPM 73.4⁰F She's starting to show more coloring on her leaves, I think she'll be the first one to harvest. It looks like she'll be ready with 2 weeks. I'll keep checking trichomes often to pull her at the perfect time for my needs.
