Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos 3 weeks of Flowering Completed 19th March 2020 Hi folks , I hope everybody is keeping safe and well during these trying times. 😷 The Ginger Nut cookie plant might end up needing a new name because she smells like pineapples and other fruitiness. 😛 All of the buds are starting to fatten nicely and have a generous amount of resin being produced. The rainy weather is back but this time instead of it being humid , it is getting cold especially at night. None of this seems to be having any detrimental effects on her but to be safe I put the pot under cover when it's raining. Ph is stable @ 6.4 Soil temp has dropped a little to 18 degrees. **** Now For this weeks Aussie music Video ** Last week I chose Cold Chisel and for this weeks Artist I have chosen Jimmy Barnes , who after leaving Cold chisel began a solo career here in australia. So time flew by these last couple weeks and the girlies finished nicely. I harvested last night and they doin their thing under the cover of darkness. They all had some amazing color when trimming. I can’t wait to see how colorful they become. The 🦍 Glue pistils started with almost an orange sherbet like color and were almost like a strawberry milkshake color when I trimmed. Once again the only disappointment was me 😔, for many reasons. They outperformed my expectations yet again. I over watered them in seedling but they catching up fast

These two girls are moving along just fine in the 3 gal pots.Was going to transplant these two into bigger pots earlier on but decided not to.They are in a 60 inch high tent and I want to keep them short and stout.I did a lot more defoliation and fed some cal mag and recharge this week.I did top dress with Gaia green power bloom and they seem to be taking it nicely.

So far so good till now,i Just spotted a leaf that Tells a Little potassium deficiency(solved,Just a temporary deficiency). Topped and FIMmed one,still keep going. I bit stressed plants by the lights and i decided to remove scrog net for Better inspecting and rotate plants,definitely not good for autoflower plants. This week i watered 1 litre Every 2 days.

I did notice some fad in the leafs so I upped my nitrogen a little and it seemed to stop the problem. All in all Happy Growing

Big Lemon needs a stronger dose of calcium in her next feeding. I normally dont have nutrient probs but ive never had to feed a plant this big and hungry 😯

This grow I am going to do it differently. I am going to do day tracking instead of date tracking. I am using using pre-grown ( two grows ago) Coco mix with nature suppers soil to experiment with reusing grow medium. The pots are 5 gallon air pots. I have never used these before so we will see. The 1st take on them that they are very messy compared to fabric pots. Once established, I will be using half strength Advanced Nutrients for Coco since these are autos. Day 1 - 3 Seeds soaked overnight and were put directly into the 5 gallon pots. I pre-soaked the Coco with 5ml/gallon Clonex and covered the seeds with a mason jar. Day 2 - Temp stayed around 78 all day with me going in and out of the tent looking for a sprout. Nothing yet. 😀 Kept the Coco moist under the jar. Day 3 - Nothing popping Day 4 - Two have popped. Day 5 - One did not pop so I put another seed in Day 6 - The little ones are growing up. It brings a tear to my eye. 😥 Day 7 - The replaced seed looks to be comming up.

Automatic watering works perfect, each plant gets 1L of nut. water every day. humidity is around 45-48%. Smell is lovely and plants are getting sticky.

Wow what a difference after feeding her more. Her leaves are getting so much better after feeding her more. She’s growing so much and so tall! This is my first autoflower, so seeing her grow this fast is amazing! I added Calimagic and Floralicious plus. She’s loving it 😍

Hello growmies! Welcome to week seven of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! I have just completed the final defoliation for the three least advanced (and largest) girls. I have also rearranged the tent again to try to maximize the space available and light usage. I have not fertigated for 5 days after the last fertigation was a flush without coco base. I am struggling with humidity at the moment so I have been trying to let the plants go more dry than usual. Daily Updates ### Week 7 Day 2 02:30 7/8 Heavily defoliated plants 1, 5 & 6 and removed some of the lower branches. Rearranged tent then photographed & measured: Plant 1 is now almost unbelievably 2nd tallest at "only" 141cm in height! Her stretch has just about ended. Plant 2 has stopped stretching at 111cm and is 2nd most advanced into flower. Plant 3 has stopped stretching at 95cm and is most advanced into flower. Plant 4 has stopped stretching at 100cm and is 3rd most advanced into flower. Plant 5 has gained 6cm this week and may add few more but she is pretty close to done stretching at 119cm. Plant 6 has gained 22cm this week and isn't quite finished. She is now the tallest plant in the series at 142cm. ### Week 7 Day 2 07:00 7/8 Fertigated 1.6l each ### Week 7 Day 4 02:00 9/8 Fertigated 1.6l each reduced coco a/b to 2m/l each. Spent a bit more time photographing and videoing to try and capture the changes and the developmental differences. These 140cm+ plants are going to STACK. I am bracing myself for a lot of trimming and a monster harvest. 🙏 The current order of maturity and likely order of harvest is 3 2 4 1 5 6. I think the first and last plants will be at least a week apart in harvest, perhaps 2 or 3. ### Week 7 Day 6 23:00 11/8 Fertigated 1.6l each The smell in the tent is there now, really not that strong but there are 6 plants motoring through flower here now so it's not insignificant either. Plant 3 is absolutely stacking now, she's more or less run out of space around her cola and is now growing some foxtail like structures, exciting! Plant 6 the least mature is 2-3 weeks behind plant 3, but her stretch has finally stopped at 144cm. Took wide angle in tent photos today. During veg I gave it urine for nitrogen one month after sprouting. Than I gave it a top feeding of compost, and epsom salt. During bloom I gave it a top feeding of epsom salt and a liquid feeding of raw coconut water 2 weeks into bloom and again 4 1/2 weeks into bloom and now I am only giving it water ph at 6.2. Also if u want to keep it totally organic use apple cider vinegar as ph down and baking soda as ph up.

The purple Lemonade despite a very beautiful structure is a little worrying us because the flowers are swelling very slowly. We are afraid that they will remain small but it seems they are getting bigger so we wait a little longer to express ourselves even if the painta seems in excellent health. Bloom is slow.

Hello hello again! Starting Week 9 with again some flashlight nighttime shots because i fell in love with that. Growwise, theres nothing much to report. I keep everything more or less the same. Watering 2,5L after 5 Days, usually i had a pretty good 4 day rhythm going but last time they had a tad too much runoff so i decided to let her dry out for a day more. they liked that, back to the usual thirstiness. Nutes changed a bit (grow up from 2 to 2.5, bloom up from 3 to 3.2) but thats just because i did an oopsie. PH stays 6.5 in, 6.2 out. Trichomes i will check later. Pistils are still to white and they dont look ready yet, but its fun taking closeup pictures, so there you go. Other than that, ill skip my usual ramblings about how i love these, you all know that by now :) *Added Trichomes, daytime shots and timelapse at the end of week 9, until next week, happy growing! :

So a whole lot has happened in the last 2 weeks. My main goal has been setting up for season 3 outdoors in my new garden where I will test my theory. I went a little hard on the plant ferment I made and have been feeding because the Whiskey Zulu and the Girl Crush because have a few spots on some leaves so I guess they might've briefly locked up a little. No problem with the Ogreberry though. The Whiskey Zulu smells like purp—like GDP, the Ogreberry smells like fruitloops with some funk and a little like Northern Lights. The Girl crush smells like a sweet diesel og—and I've just switched her over to 12/12 not long ago. For season 3: I've ordered seeds from DDA who owns Boneyard Seeds Norcal on Dagga.garden please check him out before it's 2 late. Please checkout his fantastic selection of cultivars. He goes by Mr. Toad on youtube if you have any questions. The man is a fantastic breeder and educator.
