26.05.2026 Addendum: Overall, I was rather disappointed with the BBM. The flavor really didn't develop, which is a shame. Because of that, it's really more standard and maybe something if you want mass. I've had worse, but also much better. Anesia won't be going back in the tent, sorry.
A total of 27 days were dried/cured, almost 3 weeks of which were in jars. For my overall rating, I take into account the cultivation, smell/taste, and effect. I might adjust the rating in the coming weeks if anything changes.
The cultivation itself was a dream. I couldn't really distinguish different genotypes; the plants didn't differ except in height and yield. This strain is definitely super easy to cultivate, it can handle larger amounts of nutrients and doesn't act up. The only downside that annoyed me a bit is that it produces an extremely high number of leaves. I give this 7 out of 10 stars.
The smell and taste are not extraordinary. It smells sweet/fruity even after grinding. But not as intense as I imagined from the manufacturer's descriptions, still good. I consumed it once in my vaporizer (Mighty) at 180°C and pure in a joint. In the vaporizer, the taste transfers 1:1 from the smell. Fruity, sweet, a bit plant-like but not extremely intense, still tasty. In the pure joint, I mostly taste smoke, with a little sweetness in the background. Still, it's very pleasant to smoke without scratching, etc. I give this 6/10 stars.
The effect is more or less as Anesia indicated, a strong indica effect, which I really like. However, the THC indication of up to 35% suggests that it's an extremely strong strain, which I can't fully confirm. It's not like you fall into a coma after one hit. It is definitely a strongly physically acting strain, but overall there are stronger ones, which isn't negative for me. I really like the effect, so I give this 7 out of 10 stars.
Overall, that brings it to 7 out of 10 stars, with room for improvement.
In summary, I can say that the Blackberry Moonrocks is an easy-to-grow plant that should be well defoliated during growth and at the beginning of flowering and can handle larger amounts of nutrients. In terms of flavor, it falls significantly short of Anesia's claims, but it's still okay. The effect is strong, but not quite as extreme as suggested by Anesia, which I'm actually quite glad about. Still, it does have the promised strong body effect.
