MC1, is a legendary hybrid strain created by Subcool of TGA Genetics. The seeds were originally sent to Subcool by a man known only as MC1 (Motorcycle 1000), labeled simply “OG Kush x Sour Diesel x Arcata Trainwreck”. Tragically, MC1 was killed in a motorcycle accident before the seeds even arrived. In his memory, the strain was grown out and named MC1. The genetics combine three iconic lines: OG Kush, Sour Diesel, and Arcata Trainwreck. It is roughly 60% indica and 40% sativa.The THC in this strain is pretty high, while the CBD remains trace. The buds are dense and heavily resinous, turning deep purple to almost black toward the end of flowering, with a very high percentage of amber trichomes. The aroma and flavor are complex and beautiful, featuring earthy skunk, blueberry muffins, musky grapes, saltwater taffy, and subtle orange notes. The effects are strong and medicinal, providing powerful relief for depression, anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, inflammation, and nausea. It delivers an intense yet balanced high that is both uplifting and deeply relaxing. Indoors, MC1 flowers in 58–63 days and produces medium to high yields. Outdoors, it finishes between late September and early October and is capable of massive production. MC1 remains a true underground classic — a strain born from tragedy but carried forward with respect, perfectly capturing the raw power and unique character of its legendary parent strains.
