️ Mendo Frost Automatic – Harvest Report Heute war endlich Erntetag für meine Mendo Frost Automatic von 42FastBuds. Schon beim Abschneiden der ersten Äste war klar, dass diese Dame ihrem Namen mehr als gerecht wird. Nahezu jede Blüte ist von einer dicken Schicht glitzernder Trichome überzogen und sieht aus, als hätte sie eine feine Schneeschicht abbekommen. Die Buds sind außergewöhnlich kompakt und besitzen eine wunderschöne Struktur. Besonders gefallen mir die dunklen, leicht violetten Zuckerblätter, die einen starken Kontrast zu den schneeweißen Harzkristallen bilden. Optisch gehört sie definitiv zu den schönsten Pflanzen, die ich bisher angebaut habe. Auch das Aroma konnte mich sofort begeistern. Eine intensive Mischung aus süßen Früchten, cremigen Noten und einer angenehm frischen, leicht kühlen Nuance steigt bereits während der Ernte in die Nase. Genau dieses besondere Terpenprofil macht die Mendo Frost so einzigartig. Nach der Ernte wanderten alle Blüten direkt in meinen Vivosun VCure, wo sie nun langsam und schonend trocknen dürfen. Auf das Nassgewicht habe ich bewusst verzichtet, denn am Ende zählt für mich ausschließlich das finale Trockengewicht. Die gesamte Entwicklung verlief nahezu problemlos. Die Pflanze war kräftig, vital und produzierte eine beeindruckende Menge hochwertiger Blüten mit einer Harzproduktion auf absolutem Spitzenniveau. Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf den Moment, wenn das Curing abgeschlossen ist und sich das volle Aroma dieser außergewöhnlichen Genetik entfalten kann. 10/10 – Extrem frostige Blüten, wunderschöne Farben und ein beeindruckendes Terpenprofil. From the very first branch it became obvious why this strain is called Mendo Frost. Every flower is coated in an incredibly thick layer of sparkling trichomes, giving the buds a beautiful frosted appearance. The flowers are extremely dense with excellent structure, while the dark purple sugar leaves create a stunning contrast against the snowy-white resin. Visually, this is easily one of the prettiest plants I've grown so far. The aroma is just as impressive. Sweet fruity notes blend with creamy undertones and a fresh, slightly cool finish, creating a unique terpene profile that immediately stands out during harvest. After cutting her down, all flowers were carefully placed into my Vivosun VCure for a slow and controlled drying and curing process. As always, I skipped recording the wet weight because the final dry yield is what really matters to me. Throughout the entire grow she remained healthy, vigorous and incredibly productive, rewarding me with beautiful, resin-covered flowers from top to bottom. Now the waiting begins while the curing process brings out the full potential of this amazing genetic. 10/10 – Insane resin production, gorgeous colors and a unique terpene profile. A strain that truly deserves the name "Frost".

This grow was my first attempt using only LST, and I don’t think I’ll do that again. HST suits my growing style much better, and I’m convinced I could have achieved an even higher yield with topping and HST. Apart from that, the grow was very easy. The plant required only light feeding and produced impressively large buds. Unfortunately, my grow tent circulation fan failed during a heat wave, and I suspect this was the main reason bud rot developed shortly before harvest. Despite that setback, this is probably my favorite strain so far, even ahead of Frostbanger. It has a slightly stronger indica body effect while still keeping a pleasant mental clarity. My phenotype produced very little smell during flowering, but after drying it developed a distinct mushroom soup aroma, which I actually enjoy.

What up fam, we made it to harvest time with these lovely frosted ladies. I ended up chopping and freezing it to wash and make some Fresh Frozen Live Rosin. The strong smell followed by hits of sweetness is mouth watering. I ended up with 1146g of wet weight, and after washing,pressing it came out to a total of 41g of Rosin. It had 2.5% return so not horrible but one i plan on running again as I know it and I can do better.
