Strain Creator

Milky Way F1 is a Royal Queen Seeds strain that was created by means of a three-way crossbreeding effort involving Blue Dream, Blue Mammoth, and Sin Tra Bajo Auto. The result is an autoflowering hybrid cultivar that will impress consumers with its amazing flavor profile and growers with its remarkably short flowering time. The Mily Way f1 flavor and aroma go wonderfully hand in hand, offering a delicious blend of citrus, chocolatey notes, and a skunky pungency that seems to linger for ages. Effect-wise, consumers should know that they are in for a happy and relaxation experience with increased creativity and the urge to get things done. Expect a dreamy state of mind that can turn euphoric or introspective at any time, and the growing urge to kick back somewhere and wind down. Medically, Milky Way F1 is a solid choice for anyone suffering from depression, chronic stress, and anxiety. Growing these plants means you won’t need much patience before being rewarded for your efforts. These autoflowering ladies reach up to 75 cm, need only 42 to 45 days of flowering, and produce dense and striking buds with great bag appeal.

So guys, the ladies stay very small, but the yield is very big. They are super fruity and pleasant to smoke.

The Grow was pretty ok, almost killed her in the beginning but she snapped back. The stretch was bigger than anticipated and i would have liked to get more info beforehand. Yield seems to be pretty ok so far. The smell as of writing isn't what i expected and not really my cup of tea. Would have liked for the plant to be as fast from seed to harvest as promised by RQS - she instead took me about 25 days longer and still could have gone on for more for some amber. After two weeks of curing or whatever the smell is pretty disgusting, but fresh, very hard to describe. Smoke is good but i have no idea tastewise. Effect is mentally spinny and background thoughts get exaggerated, while one cant form one coherent sentence. Slight heaviness in the limbs.

A pleasant grow, and interesting to have her overall phenotype (short and compact) in the tent as mirror to the one EC brought (tall and lanky). Not a very strong smell in the tent, but pleasant and almost like lemongrass during harvest and trim. Test bud tastes like vanilla, so I’m curious to see how her profile develops with dry and cure! She did suffer a little early flower due to pH fluctuations, and then spent a while being very particular about watering. If I never have to painstakingly pipette-inject water into my soil just to be able to water 250mL on dry soil without losing most of it, it will be too soon. A real diva, one might say. All that said, she weathered everything well, including her early-mid flower position in front of a fan. Stamen in the top flower site spelled her end, because as much as we love, support, and represent the trans community ️‍⚧️⚧️ in this house, that pollen won’t fly here. If I had to redo the grow, I think I would top her, but G2.1.26 will have to prove that theory for now. (Yes, different strains, but the RQS Galaxy themed F1s do all seem to have a similar build. Short and stout.)

It was really fun to grow them, no deficiencies or diva-like behavior. And the spicy-lemony scent they give off at harvest just smells delicious.

Super small and dense - well at least this phenotype. The buds do look nice and I really like the citrusy smell - but the yield was just disappointing.

Cure is at 4 week stage and all in all I am very satisfied with this grow. Hay smell is decreasing and the terps are coming through more providing hints of citrus and pepper. I vape rather than smoke and it smooth and pleasant with nice heady stone. Growing was easy with the plant being pretty resistant to any mistakes I made along the way. Next up will be a return to wedding cake later in the summer. Happy growing and thanks for checking out my diary, see you soon.

I got the Milky Way seed as a freebie with an order, so I decided to use it for this test grow. I wanted to try growing organically, in a larger volume pot with minimal run-off, inspired by living soil growers. At the beginning, I felt quite overwhelmed by all the different products on the market and the various growing methods. But in the end, I’m really glad I went down this path. It forced me to rethink some of my old assumptions and study growing in more depth, understanding nutrients, microorganisms, and so on. You need to trust your inputs! Whether I actually learned something… we’ll see in the next grow :) ....................................................................................................................................................................................GROW : Milky Way surprised me from the start with its strong, vigorous, and quite even growth. I let her grow naturally without any LST. It developed beautiful, round, dense buds covered in large trichomes. Honestly, I could just copy the promo text from RQS - it fits perfectly. Good job guys! :) ....................................................................................................................................................................................SMELL: The smell of Milky Way is quite unique for me. I’ve never had anything quite like it. When you open the jar, you’re immediately hit with an intense hazelnut aroma. After grinding, it shifts into a floral profile with a fresh, slightly fruity note - but a different kind of fruitiness than what I’m used to. ....................................................................................................................................................................................TASTE: When vaporized, the flavour is dominated by a fresh floral taste combined with green apple and a subtle nutty undertone. The aroma isn’t overly loud the vapor is smooth, almost creamy, and doesn’t irritate the throat even during longer sessions. No off-flavours or unwanted aromas - even at higher temperatures, or when it gets a bit roasty, it still tastes fine. ................................................................................................................................................................................EFFECTS: The effect is calming. At first, it’s barely noticeable in the body and tends to stimulate creativity. After some time, it transitions into a more physical relaxation. Long-lasting or better said, slowly releasing. It works well as a daytime smoke without any strong negative effects. At higher doses, it becomes fairly sedative. .......................................................................................................................................................................................EDIT: After 3 months of smoking this strain, I can say it's not worth growing again for me. 5 stars for nice buds and good grow. It's probably the only weed I could bring to the office, roll one, and nobody would notice. Terps faded fast. Now the aroma is mostly floral, the joint is almost tasteless. Through a ball vape, I can still get some pleasant flavour, but I usually mix it with other strains.

It was great fun growing the Milky Way F1 from RQS. She grew strong and healthy from the very beginning without any stress, and she kept that up all the way to the end. I fed her quite heavily, and she seemed to handle it really well. Unfortunately, the temperatures were very low over the past few months, but even that didn’t cause her any real trouble. Because of the cold, the yield ended up being only average, but the buds themselves are beautifully dense and nicely resinous. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an easy, hassle‑free grow.

Milky Way F1, compact, tough, and more productive than she looks. Ran her in a 100x100 with recycled soil in full winter conditions, no major complaints. Real resilience to cold and pathogens in veg, that’s where she stood out this run. Minimal training needed, just tucked the fan leaves under the lateral branches and she opened up on her own. Easy to manage, would scale well with multiple plants. 50cm tall, ~30cm footprint, 200g+ wet from 8L of substrate. Timeline matched the RQS datasheet at 76 days, chocolate, ginger and citrus notes according to the spec sheet, can’t wait to find out. Respect to the breeders. Big thanks to everyone who dropped a like or comment, and to all the growers posting here, always a source of inspiration. See you on the next one!

The overall cultivation wasn’t very easy, as the winter season was starting here and the plants didn’t like it much. Altogether I have about 80 g, weighed on an old scale . The aroma is citrusy with spicy notes, and I absolutely love the smell. The effect is very strong and also very pleasant. It boosts creativity and pushes away negative thoughts for several hours. Overall, I definitely recommend trying this strain
