Hello Tokers and Growers!
Welcome to another great Indica adventure!
Some of you already know I love me some Indica. 😁
My current favorite Indica is Cream Caramel from Sweet Seeds but I decided to try something new this run.
Sweet Zenzation (SWS84) also from Sweet Seeds.
She's my only Indica dominant cultivar in the tent so I'll be taking extra care of this one.
Strain characteristics:
Sweet Zenzation derives from a cross between an elite clone of Zkittlez combined with a specially selected Grape Ape clone, which is one of the strains used to develop the original Zkittlez.
The result is a predominantly indica genetic hybrid. It produces a large amount of resin-soaked flowers. It is both relaxing and stress-relieving, yet it also stimulates the imagination and conversation, an effect that is normally associated with sativa strains.
The flowers have a high terpene content, an exquisite aroma and sweet taste, with hints of fruit flavoured candies, hardwood undertones, shades of lemon, cypress and subtle aromatic peppers.
Variety SWS84
Genetics: Zkittlez x Grape Ape
Type: Feminized
Indica: 70% / Sativa: 30%
THC: 16-23% · CBD: 0,2%
Indoor Yield: 450-650 g/m2
Outdoor Yield: 400-700 g/plant
Indoor Blooming: 9 weeks
Outdoor Harvest: late September, early October
Expectations & Training method:
First time growing this strain but Sweet Seeds have always given me sweet and savory yields so I’m guessing this one won’t be any different.
Genetics are promising some tasty terps, I’m the aroma will blow me away.
Indica dominant so I’ll be trying to make a bud packed bush out of these.
Haven’t quite decided what training technique to go with either LST or TOP and just a bit of LST adjusting the colas.
That’ll depend on how I see the growth up until the training day. As for yield I’m aiming for at least 50g each plant.

Happy Growing!
This adventure seems like it'll be zenzational!
These seeds were the first to burst and also first to sprout from soil out of all the other strain.
Ladies are on a mission, they stretched upwards and spread the first leaves fast!
My thoughts are they'll be some bushy ladies! 😍
I placed the seeds in 500ml cups with BioBizz Light Mix soil, beforehand I mixed 1 gram of Synergy per 4 liters of soil.
These are live microbes called Mycorrhiza which live in symbiotic association with the roots.
My idea is to leave them in this container for about 14-21 days until the roots develop correctly then transplant them to their final pot which will be an 11L fabric pot.
As the light mix soil comes blended for at least two week of life, no nutrients will be added until after the transplant.
Happy growing!
OMG! (Oh My Growers) what an adventure we have here!
Looks like in a few weeks we'll be deep in a zenzational jungle! 😍
They're definitely comfortable, I can notice the roots and mycorrhiza combo just taking over the soil.
Leaves are branching out and getting think which is great to see, not as thick as I'd expected though.
Next week they'll be transplanted to final 11L fabric pots.
Happy Growing!
Hello Growers & Tokers!
The route to having a jungle starts with the roots!
That's why my main goal in those first 14-21 days is developing the root system.
I like to give them time to expand the roots which is very important for a healthy plant.
That also gives them more time to get bigger and stronger before going into flower.
More growth, more bud sites, more buds. Trust me the wait is worth the reward.
We'll be seeing some truly sweet and zenzational flowers.
This week they got transplanted to their final pot, 11L fabric pots.
It's one step closer to getting that jungle, zenzational!
Medium used was Light Mix from BioBizz.
Synergy from Grotek nutrients was blended in the medium to help out the roots.
Let the mycorrhizae do its job and take over the soil, then the roots just follow.
Take care out there and happy growing!
Hello Growers & Tokers!
Looking healthy after the transplant.
Leaves are wide, nodes are tight, when they get topped I'm sure they'll be looking like a bush.
Won't be doing much this week, just feeding them and letting them adjust correctly.
Had to up the amount of nutrients because the leaves were getting a bit discolored.
Faded green, almost yellow. All good now though. Everything seems to be on track.
Take care out there and happy growing!
Hello Growers & Tokers!
We're getting closer and closer to that zenzational jungle!
Ladies are looking very healthy, no deficiencies, healthy leaves, roots are spreading nicely, all out good plants.
The tops came down this week, after topping they'll widen out and even the canopy.
I don't think I even need to train them, the branches seem to be going in to place by themselves.
My plan is to have an even canopy, table of colas, horizontal canopy, sea of green, call it what you may...
I'm looking to have about 6-10 colas per plant, In flower all I want to see in the canopy is buds, buds, buds.
They got some chunky leaves on them which will be taken off next week before switching them to flower.
These ladies are gonna get wide, bushes I'm telling you! 😍 😍
They're starting to give off a light sweet scent, lovely! 🤤
Take care out there and happy growing!
Hello Growers & Tokers!
Can you smell the jungle coming?
Topping them worked like a charm, they got lots of new growth inside the canopy.
Top is nice and even there was no need of LST.
It's the last week of veg so I cleaned them up a bit.
Taking down the bigger fan leaves in the middle, those that are bigger than my hand and give most shade.
The new fan leaves I leave them be. I also cleaned a bit of the bottom.
First node was taken off. Second and third nodes were cleaned by taking off the first and second nodes on both.
That's just taking away growth that won't amount to anything and giving energy to where it's needed, on the top.
The more bud site exposed the better, that's what we want growing in the next 21 days.
More bud sites, more buds. More buds, more of everything else you can do with buds.
By the looks of it she'll be a bush with colas all over the top, hope everything keeps running smoothly.
Take care out there and happy growing!
You ready for some flowers? I sure am.
This week changed the light schedule from 18 o 12 hours of light AKA 12/12.
Let's activate bloom mode on these ladies.
Also switched up the nutrients. From grow to bloom. doih!
For the rest just letting them be.
Operation Flower of the Jungle is a Go!
Second week of flower and these ladies are stretching and blooming!
A part from the stretch and flowers coming out, there hasn't been much change.
Which said like that seems like it's nothing but there has been a huge flower production in the past week.
Were gonna have some nice jungle nuggets.
Upped the nutrients 1ml/L
Alrighty then, Check out the jungle!
Was busy this week so I couldn't take individual pictures but here's an over all view of the ladies.
Last week they were bushy now their extra bushy. End of the week there will be a massive defoliation.
Those budsites will be more exposed to the light and that's what we want.
No changes in the nutrients, I did have to up the water amount a bit though.
The light has been running at about 90% capacity which is about 288 watts.
Powering through week 4 of flower after that defoliation.
These ladies are bloooomin!
Check out the buds on these ladies, oh we're definitely gonna have some chunky flowers!
Sweet and savory too because these ladies are starting to smell like sweet grapes.
Trichome production is coming along fast as well.
This week I added green sensation to the nutrient mix.
Welcome to the chucky flowers show!
As you can see Operation Jungle Flower is well advanced in week 5.
This is truly a zenzational jungle, the colors, aromas and bud structures are certainly a view.
No doubt these will be the top yielders.
Did a bit of selective defoliation this week.
Taking away any big fan leaves that were covering crucial bud sites.
Ladies are looking and smelling amazing, truly zenzational!
You can notice the different phenos that came out.
One is pure zkittlez while the other three in bud structure are sweet zenzation (zkittlez x grape ape) in those three two of them smell like grape juice.
Hope that turns out like some fine red wine taste when cured.
Dropped the amount of water a bit and also nutrients.
From next week onward only water.
Were in the final stretch of Operation Jungle Flower.
Couldn't take much pictures this week. I'll make up for it in the harvest photos.
No nutrients from this point on, only PHed water.
Color are changing.
Ladies are finishing up week 8 of flower.
Admiring the view whilst anxious for harvest day.
From the looks of things harvest will be done on day 63, right at the end of week 9.
Growing this plant was quite fun.
Seeing the different plant and flower formation in each phenotype.
The aroma as well was something else as they smell the same at first but then after curing you can definitely notice it's uniqueness.
I'd say this is some afternoon/night herb. Very chill and relaxing vibes.
There's one specific pheno that I just fell in love with. After curing it had a nice wine smell and taste to it.
Like a sweet tinto rioja. Tones of cipres and mostly "mosto".
Very delicious stuff indeed!
Growing this plant was fairly easy.
Responded well to topping and heavy defoliation.
Only suffered a bit of stress at the end when I took the nutrients away but that's normal.
Vegetation was vigorous, flower as well. It's as if this plant was in a rush to be harvested.
A part from having different phenos they were all about the same height maybe a few cms more here and there.
The bud formation was a something else.
All different from bright orange to dark green. Lovely views, I'm telling you!
Trichome production was nice, to be honest not as much as I was expecting for then again my stakes were set kinda high.
Still came out covered in trichome goodness though, very tasty stuff.
I harvest them on day 63 of flower which is exactly at the end of week 9, could have done it a few days before but given it's an indica strain I left them on there a bit longer to have a few more amber trichomes.
I hung them to dry for 14 days at 60%RH and 18ºC
Whole plants for the first 4 days or so then I seperated them to branches.
After that I did a nice hand trim and placed them in glass hermetic jars at 60-62%RH
Burping them for the first three weeks. Then after a month I started sampling.
I weighed them after the full month of cure and here are the numbers.
Pheno #1 - 56 grams
Pheno #2 - 59 grams
Pheno #3 - 90 grams (the massive buds, zkittlez pheno)
Pheno #4 - 44 grams (My personal favorite, sweet wine. mosto type)
Grand total of 249 grams between the four plants.
@MarsHydroLED, Thanks! Much appreciated, truly was a great harvest.
This light got the job done! 👏 👏 👏
Wanting to try those FC series, now that's next level.
