Late to the week, but here we are on Day 7 from germination! Not much to report. All 3 successfully have their roots down, and while they're still a little loose they don't seem to have any health deficiencies. I'll chalk that up to the fantastic FoxFarm soil and a liberal soaking of the environment with Big Bloom and a tad of Grow Big. Only annoyance I've got so far is that they originally stretched more than expected, so I lowered the light from 18 inches to 12 inches to shut that down. I want to keep these suckers low, since I've got a small overhead for height (55 in, but more realistically 48 in). Compared to last two grows, this has been a perfect germ cycle.
Looking forward, I want to LST a bit starting Week 3 or 4, and kick these to flowering in Week 6. The small space means I don't mind growing smaller plants, since competition for light is going to be a huge factor anyways. 3 seeds in a 4 square meter space is tight! The other thing I need to prep is buying a better outtake fan for smell, but that doesn't have to be done right away. I've got plenty of intake for now. Temperatures should be fairly steady this week, as should humidity.
I might update later in the week with more photos and a report, so stay tuned! Good luck with your grows. - 4RockandStone
UPDATE Day 11: Not much to report! They're all growing well and have started their second set of leaves. I might have overfed them slightly on nutes, as they look a little darker green than I'd like, but it could be the strain/early first leaves. I'll know more once the second set of leaves have fully emerged. Roots are solid now. Pulled the light back a few inches because I saw a bit of curling to suggest that nute deficiency or heat stress. Not too worried because early leaves always look a bit weird.
