Most plants seem to be doing well. Let me know what you guys think, first time grower here! Since they’re already in 5 gals I’m usually watering 1-2 gal every 2-3 days
What a week. This is essentially the start of week 3 photos. Week 2 was met with disaster by disaster. Ballast broke along with the one plant falling over. Luckily the plant that got knocked over (not shown) is finally starting to show signs of new growth and looks like it will survive. The plant were given 3-4 hours of sunlight per day while new and improved grow light was on its way. The plants also had a 100 watt light for the rest of the 18 hours. With the new Mh bulb I can already tell the plants are loving it and show much more growth than previously. This new light will help with my temperature issues especially since during peak heat times of day my plants were hitting up to 85°
Started giving these babies nutrients last week and they seem like they’re loving life. I’m giving the gorilla zkittles purpinator and the other two trains the teripinator not mixing those nutrients for the same plant. I’m watering Monday Wednesday and Friday and I seem to be getting a schedule down that the plants are loving!
Doing some lst to spread the plants out a bit, kept the Nutes the same this week one plant was starting to show signs of nute burn but it got a straight water feed and has grown since. The red pot gorilla is just taking off like crazy and is gonna end up taking half the tent up alone at this rate! Gonna keep in veg until until the net gets pretty filled. Still watering Monday Wednesday Friday giving nutes on Monday and Friday.
The plants got a big defoliation of a lot of the lower growth in lolipop style fashion, either flipping to flower next week or waiting two weeks. I’ve had to start using neem oil because it seems some little critters are eating my plant leaves. It’s very minimal and small just better to be safe than sorry, currently at day 40 of the Grow. Just moved the light up a few more inches compared to the plants canopy. Seems as if they’re getting a little light stress since I turned the light all the way up to the full 1,000 blast. Same feeding schedule. Let me know if y’all have any tips! Always appreciated
The light schedule has been switched to flower the night of day 45. Room really filled out. I decided to do just a really cheap and easy clone method of honey water concentrate for gel and just a jiffy starter pot. Only keeping the clones in case I love one of the plants. Most likely will just give them away. As a side note I realized the amount of nutrients I was feeding was not what I was exactly saying I’ve been doing in my journal, definitely have been using less nutes but I fixed it today so my nutrient schedule is more accurately displayed. I’m watering 3 times a week 2 times being nutes one being water still. Plants seem to be loving it. Thanks once again to everyone who’s been helping my on this journey! I appreciate you all and happy growing:)
One week of flower done.
All plants have already stretch an inch or two.
My big plant is starting to need more nutes than the others.
Watering on same schedule.
Temps have been getting higher in the day than I want but I now have my incline fan and outflow fan connected straight to the outside. (Had to move tent and move plants one last time to get it set up)
Excited to start seeing flowers:)
Thanks once again to everyone for all the help on my first grow:)
The White Widows (Close Left And Middle Left) have really strayed to stretch.
The Gorilla Zkittles (Back Left And Back Right) have not really stretched too much, maybe an inch or two.The Blueberry(Front Right) is also showing some decent stretch.
Plants are looking healthy, and I think I have corrected my deficiencies.
I’m excited to see these buds really start bulking up! I’ll probably end the silica Sometime this week. Happy Growing Everyone:)!
Just a day 67 Update
End of week 3 Flower
Humidity has been getting high due to it outing rain the last few days. Hitting 60-65% at times but mostly staying around 53%.
Tent Has filled out nicely and I can’t wait to start seeing these buds bulk up!
Last Feeding of Silica was this past feeding.
Getting closer day by day:)
Stopped feeding silica.
I realized my watering container actually was holding around 2.7 gallons of water so that has been corrected and these babies did seem a little hungry and that explains why! Rookie mistake.
Other than that plants are doing great I think, the blueberry still has mostly white pistoles where as the gorilla is almost 50/50 colored to orange. Planning on drying in the same tent as plants are grown, hopefully I can still harvest them around the same time. Keepin an eye on tricombs. Excited for harvest the end is in sight:) thanks all for staying tuned. Happy growing:)
Having a heat wave hit my area and I’m really working to keep these girl stable. They have just finished week 5 of flower and that means this is the last week they gonna get nutrients most likely, we’ll see maybe I’ll give em an extra feed if they don’t look quite there. Right now just trying keep these girls under control till this wave leaves! Happy growing everyone
Had a massive heatwave pass through, definitely not used to it hitting the 100s in june and the White widow definitely showed stress from it. It’s leaves browned a bit and curled but it seems that plant only has about two weeks left and it should be all good! Gorilla Zkittles buds seem to be the farthest behind everything else and could honestly end up needing an extra week from the rest. Buds are developing color and their true personality! I’m lovin it. Thanks to everyone for the support along this grow journey, and let’s hope we can finish these last couple weeks out nicely!
All photos come from The end of week 6 flower. Tomorrow will be day 1 of week 7
One Week of Flush complete.
Girls are real hardy still loving life not yellowing or fading too much.
Might let these girls go a little longer if they can do it.
A couple of the plants are mostly milky not any amber so id like to get a little amber in all plants trichomes.
Everything must be cut atthe same time bcuz I hang dry In the same tent.
Pretty much on cruise control right now just waiting for them to fully developed to the potential I want them at or start to die fully from no food.
Thanks to Everyone for all the crucial support on my first grow.
I’m looking forward to many more.
Just dumped a bunch of photos don’t know the days their from but they’re all correct week.
Harvested 59 Days in.
First harvest officially complete!
Currently I’m dry sifting the big fan leaves to get a little reward for my hard work!
Conditions are absolutely perfect right now for a dry. Hopefully I can’t maintain it!
I’ll give each cultivar a grow grade then I’ll post final bud weight and a smoke review in a few weeks for yall!
Grow Grades:
Blueberry: This plant was honestly a beautiful and intermediate plant to grow. I grew it in Cox and made it even more of a challenge for myself but she is probabaly my highest yielding plant! She was an easier plant to burn in veg, and grew at a pretty regular rate. Once flower hut she stretched perfectly and filled all light spots naturally! Bulked heaved all the way from week 4-8 non stop. Would definitely say someone who has either a grow under their belt or has done plenty of research should for sure give this plant a shot. With a good flush she presented a beautiful yellow and brown fade.
Gorilla Zkittles: I would say this plant in veg is definitely for someone who is looking to flip in a faster time span. She grows like crazy in veg. And is very hardy and easy to grow. Once she hits flower her lower buds will stretch as far as they need to no question. Definitely would do a lolipop on this plant. My results in flower I say are unsusecul to everyone because I had user error in my experience. One plant was very giant and she ended up getting root bound in a 5 gal which I think definitely prevented some bulking of buds although the buds are still very respectable. My other gorilla was a pheno that honestly I was not a fan of. She had very short node spacing very little bulking and was very leafy. I’ve seen other people grow the same seed with the same style plant so simply I’m going to say that that plant was just very dense and not bulky at all. I can’t complain Though, they both yielded well and were very easy to grow. If anything you can feed these girls whatever and they’ll take it.
White widow: This strain was a very typical sativa like strain stretching about double its height once flower came, but surprisingly being done in only 8 weeks. This plants buds got very thick and it’s roots were right on pace for a 5 gal. Very hardy plant and although it showed heat stress in 90° it still bulked up and showed no signs of steps back, just a little damage. This plant was a fast grower in veg but was very small and bushy. Very hard to train but very easy to grow. Definitely would grow this plant if you’re new to growing due to its big bud structure and ease of success.
This plants Buds were big and she is one of the smoothest smokes I’ve had. Not the most flavor but she is very clean and easy to get in out out the lungs. Also with that’s being said she gave me the Trainwreck vibes very potent and hitting you like a train. I’d buy these seeds.
