Hey everyone.
So were officially on the 2nd week of flowering..... and unfortunately I'm not happy with these plants. Which of course is usually my own fault when that happens. I think the late transplant really gave them a mean shock and with autoflowers there's just not a lot of room to bounce back and get healthy again. If you grow photoperiod plants you can keep them in veg as long as you have to...indefinitely if you want! But Autos...No. there's only so many days in a cycle, so have everything dialed in or the result often isn't pretty.
With the late transplant I assume they have enough nutrients to finish their life and yet here we are with discolored leaves and a stunted plant. I'm thinking the ph must have went out of the right range again and contributed to the problems. The question is did it go too high or too low? Mephisto says that "they never Ph! Ever! Not with plain water or feed water " so it may be that I would've been better off either A) not ph-ing at all. Or B) make sure your ph is accurate, don't have it all over the place.
The only good thing I'm feeling right now is towards my new gear. Wow the zippers on this new tent are so smooth! They slide like butter! My old tent it was a nightmare trying to open or close it! As for LED grow lights, thank God they've made it so far and advanced so much. I don't know how I let myself struggle with a purple colored light for so long! The color spectrum on this SP6500 is just gorgeous, I can actually see if my plants look good or bad without having to pull them out every single day! So my advice....if you're still using a purple led...UPGRADE! YOU DESERVE IT! And so do your plants. Lol
Happy growing all. โ๏ธ
@@Trumptight420, it's mephistogenetics.com if you go on now it shows what will be for sale today at 10 am mountain time.
If you're Canadian or European/ other countries you might get a different homepage from the USA.
Haha... ๐โโ๏ธ same age, strain, and pheno plants with slightly different environments can turn out so differently. I shared a photo with you, and by chance I come here and read that ๐. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
@Weed_be_thy_medicine, oh nice. I managed to score like 1 grape walker in one of the recent mephisto Mondays. Maybe I'll have to fire it up too. And I'm definitely not doing any transplant this time.
@Experimentgreen,ah thanks for the master advice ๐๐ป. Iโm gonna do a mango smile and grape Walker kush from M as well hence learning from you :)
@Weed_be_thy_medicine, I've had good and bad luck with the transplants. I think the key is doing it early if so. Within the first 3 weeks and a smooth transplant is essential....no stress. Which is hard to accomplish.
Any chance that's just a small strain? Did you check with the seed guys? I thought I saw a "500g weight max" but that's usually wet weight anyway.
@spyder, thanks friend. I appreciate that. If you haven't grown any Mephisto lately you should! They're having "mephisto Mondays" every week in their store so seeds have been easier to get.
@420learning, I like mephisto, even if their plants end up small they're so coated in trichomes you almost don't have to trim them. Just a small, quick once over and they're good.
