Glass of water for a day then a day in soil in the greenhouse. These are staying outside till I have space in the tent around week 4 after harvest of my other grow. Not ideal but want to get both done before the crazy heat and humidity in my area makes it hard/expensive to control the environment. These will be protected in my pvc greenhouse from most of the elements in thier early life.
For this round I thought I'd try make my own organic soil mix so let's see how that turns out. I wanted to keep it a light mix with plenty of drainage.
Using 11l smart pots. Planted straight into the final pot, not transplanting on this grow.
Fingers crossed for a happy healthy start to finish ✌️
And then there were two.
The smallest one had a run in with a bird when I moved them out the tent.
These two are now going to be bushes instead of Christmas trees so I have started lst.
Done more lst this week. At d28 they are just starting pre flower. D28 is the first day in their new home now I have space in the tent. Btw there are no leaf deficiencies the brown spot are from a bit of sandy rain.
Day 56 a full 8 weeks since germination.
Things are looking good, some natural yellowing of fan leaves is happening as things draw closer to the end.
All the bud are fattening up, strangely all but one of the bud are covered in trichomes. One bud seems behind the rest despite it being at the canopy and in good light.
Trichomes are showing half milky, bud have started to take on a hint of pink/purple on the edges. I would like the colours to grow before harvest.
Been feeding only water with a dose of alg a mic to help with heat.
Chopped the smallest plant today as all milky trichomes.
The bigger plant is going to take a little longer, maybe another week or two to go.
Temperature is rising and I dont have an ac so need finish up sooner rather than later.
