Hi, I'd wait till you see a few more nodes and a bit more growth so you have something to LST. You can 'top' for increased yield if this is something you want. A few others you can do is; FIM Supercrop But i'd wait till you get a bit more growth, also when flipping to flower when you decide too, you can defoliate the big fan leaves blocking the bud sites. But don't go overboard, after the 3rd week in flower the stretch and new growth of fan leaves being produced stops. If you're struggling have a look at my diaries and see the effects LST, TOPPING has as there is before and after pictures. Any questions, message me and i'll help you along. Hope this helps. Nice looking plant so far too. Goodluck

Anyone have good experience with cover crops such as Alfafa?. How does the nitrogen fixing work? When is it good time to use cover crops? Any specific cover crops you recommend for pest and helping the health of the plant overall.,.

Clover, rye, mustard, beans, kale, are all marvelous ways to set up a cover-crop. Those plants (especially beans, clover, and rye) sequester nitrogen into the soil for your cannabis plants to use later. You can use cover-crops whenever you want. To be really effective, it should remain in place for months/years. Hope this helps, keep us up-to-date and happy growing!

How often do you use compost teas and what brand do you use?

Hello @Jamminbear !I don;t think there is any brand that sells compost teas ( unless you mean bacteria products like tarantula from AN ) but even if you know any i would advise not to buy it. Compost teas need to applied fresh. There are plenty recipes online . What you need to take care is to give the right amount of air when you make it. The rule of thumb is 1-2 liters of air per minute for every liter of tea that you are going to make. So if you want to make 4 liters of tea you should use an air pump with 4-8 L/min. After i brew my tea i dilute it 3 times and then i use it. I use it at flowering stage around 3 times 12-18 days apart. Happy growing ! 👊

You could do your own, but sometimes thats easier said than done. Like mentioned the extreme is a good brand, theres also Nectar for the Gods: Pegasus potion. Also remember that usually to get the best benefits of a "compost tea" not a "nutrient tea" you'll want to somewhat aerated into your soil. Usually every 7-10 days you would do a tea. P.S. as a tea adds to the microbe community in your soil, it can be good to add a little molasses to watering schedule as it gives them something to feed off. Best of luck.

Extreme gardening - extreme tea all the way man. Easy to brew hassle free works perfectly. And for what it is good cost. The full extreme gardening line (or at least) Mykos, azos and teas are a must in any organic garden. Peace

@GuerillaPL86, I got to excited about growing..My first grow. in retrospect i should have done it a little later.. Learning soo much though. Got my first clone beginning of April. Popped a couple of seeds in early April as well. I live in California, the San Franciso bay.. Yeah, we have this thing in the Bay where we tend to warm up late May and all the way to November.

@Jamminbear, Where do you live man :P It's May...even warm in Poland and outoor season started Well 70F during day is a minimum at daytime 50F at night is way to cold Outdoor time in Poland: Daytime temp- 18-31*C Nighttime temp- 13-23*C So in your situation you are right to wait :) You need to plan in advance and don't start off to soon with seedlings for outdoor She will grow BIG as hell outdoors...

Morning, you could definitely top that pretty lady now if you haven't already. She's got at least 6 open big leaves from what I see at the above view. Maybe start the lst after she gets comfortable from the topping. In like a week or so? Happy growing.
