Belverde Welcome growers I have finished the first week of growing with this new genetics, breeded by the famous DNA seedbank 🏆🏆🏆🏆 It's an Indica dominant and the cross is between the super resinous GG#4 and the tastyes SORBET I have never grow any types of "Sorbet" strain , but i have tryed in California a ine call Grape Sorbet, which it has a superb taste..really close to a real Italian dessert, that here we usually call sorbetto 🍧 Anyway.. I have an high expectecion about it and i'm looking for special terpens like as always 🔥🔥 Good flavours comes before the high 💯 We will see.. For now she is under a 100w home-made led, with a nine other sisters 🌱🌱🌱 Im going to grow it always indoor with a mix of different nutrients....mostly from vegan source, but for now just regular water 💧 Let see what's happens.. Belverde Welcome growers We are in the beginning of the third week of life for this brand new SORBET#4 🍧 She is in a growbox, 120x90, with nine other ladyes of different genetics and looks happy and healthy 🌿🌿🌿 Two of them are another Sorbet#4...maybe im going to show also their in the future 😉 Right now the lights timing is set to 18/6 on/off, after being at 20/4 so far 💡 Also i have changed the lights, from my home-made 100w cob, to two Mars-Hydro SP3000, that they gently give to me for testing ! (But only in the last two days of this week) Anyway.. Im going to give an honest opinion for sure 🙌👌 For now i can only say that the product it's on point, very easy to rack on the tent and with a nice dimmer for switched up the intensity of the lights, from less the 25% to 100% Now im going to maintaine the 25% for all this new week, at height 60cm from the top of the plants.. About nutrients 👇 In this week i have started to mixing with the watering a few organic/veganic nutrients.. Like Root-Juice (Biobizz) / Roots (Bionova) and Rizostimo (Biomagno) A little bit of everything in every watering 💧 And that's all.. Belverde Welcome growers And also the tirth week of life is finished for this three ladyes, three phenos of SORBET#4 🌿🌿🌿🍧 I have decided to show you the all family, so , in this way we can see if they show some differences 😉 For now I have two pretty similar, with a large leafs and internodes very close to each one.. And another one a little different , more Sativa in aspect, with a large structure that increase the lights penetration, which means more growing for the lower branches 💯 Anyway.. In the begining of the week I transplanted into a 3l plastic pot.. Usually my choice of pot is the smartpot or the airpot 💯 And therefore, considering that the soil will obviously remain less aerated than usual, I have chosen to use a greater quantity of coco coir in the substrate I roughly prepared a mix of 50% light-mix (Canna professional and Biobizz), a 30% of coco coir (Atami), 10% worm-cast or humus (Atami) and around a 5% perlite wich it's already present in the light -mix.. I have also put a few micorizzae (Micosat F), like 10 grams, in direct contact with the roots and around 4 grams of Microlife (Bionova) in pellet form I will use this last one also for making an areated Tea, but during flowering.. About nutrients 👇 In this week i have giving their always organic/veganic nutrients.. Root-Juice (Biobizz) and Rizostimo (Biomagno) for the last time, plus a little bit of silicium (Bionova) and then Activator (Biomagno) / Crescita (Biomagno) / The Missing Link (Bionova) / X-Cell (Bionova) {This last two i have used in a foliar spray solution} Simply a little bit of everything at any watering 💧 About the lights 💡 I currently using for the first time, two Mars-Hydro SP3000, running at 25% of the power for now.. Next week im going to increase at least to 50% ⬆️ Onestly this lights looks pretty solid, definetly intense, with a spectrum really close ro the sun light One of the cool things about it it's that you can connected each one toghter with a cable and so you can controll the intensity of the lights very easy, in a precis way 👌 We will see in this months how they works And that's all.. Belverde I delayed a few days to update the week because video was not loading . . . . Welcome growers Week n°4 ended for these three phenos of SORBET#4 🌿🌿🌿🍧 Like you have probably see in the video, a few days ago i have made a one topping, on the central stem, for increase the power of the lower branches exposing them to a better lights conditions.. I have also cut two or three leafs, not too much for now, just for increase the airflow and also again for a higher lights exposure of the lowers parts✂️ 🍃 About the lights 💡 Doing that, i have increase the potency of my two Mars-Hydro SP3000, from 25% to 50% ⬆️ The two led panel are connected with a cable and i have only to adjuste the dimmer of one of them for change the intensity of each one, in just one move.. Pretty useful 💯 In the middle of the week i have switch from 18/6 on/off to 16/8 on/off.. Always tryed to mimic the natural cycle of the sun light, works good to me 👌 Anyway.. Belverde Welcome growers We finished week n°5 with these three SORBET#4 🌿🌿🌿🍧 The whole family reacted pretty well after last week's topping and looks very healthy and happy They have some differences, especially in terms of height.. There are two fairly identical phenotypes, small in size with close internodal spacing and deep green leaves The other, on the other hand, is visibly more grown in height and has a more "open" structure, typical of specimens that tend to have a profile more on the Sativa side. However, I am giving everyone the same amount and type of nutrients, which I will report later 😉 In this week i have reduced the lights cycle from 16/8 on/off to 14/10 on/off 💡 At the same time i have increase the intensity of my two led SP3000 from 50% to 75% and im going to put them at the maximum potency after the switch at 12/12 The two led panel are connected with a cable and i have only to adjuste the dimmer of one of them for change the intensity of each one, in just one move.. About nutrients 👇 In this seven days i still giving their always organic/veganic nutrients.. Belverde Welcome growers I have finished the first week of flowering with these three sisters of SORBET#4 🌿🌿🌿🍧 The plants are starting to show early pre-flowers and continue to grow quite well without too much difficulty.. Unfortunately, the appearance is not extremely healthy because of me, I was away for a few days and my self-irrigation system did not work properly, leaving the plants in shortage of water 💦 Maintaining the correct proportions between dry and wet soil is essential But they will recover anyway.. In this week I have slightly defoliated to allow the light to penetrate more and also better ventilation ✂️✂️✂️🍃🍃🍃 About the lights cycle 💡 We are now in a 12/12 on / off.. Always under two SP3000, from Mars-Hydro, at 75% of the power.. About nutrients 👇 I still giving their always organic/veganic nutrients.. Belverde Welcome growers Week three of flowering for these SORBET#4 🌿🌿🌿🍧 Two of the three girls are quite fast in producing buds and you are already starting to feel a sweet and particular aroma.. There is also a bit of purple coloring here and there and above all several trichomes have already appeared 💯 One of them, on the other hand, is visibly slower and has no strange colors In any case As seen in the video, the most evident thing these days was a massive defoliation ✂️✂️✂️🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃 Honestly, I never use such an aggressive technique.. This time I decided to practice it on all the plants I have in the garden (10 visible in the diaries + 8 regular all female) out of pure curiosity to see how each of them will react It's a bit of a controversial method, but it's trying and seeing what happens Let's hope so 🍀 I immediately start a more massive fertilization.. Belverde Welcome growers We have passed the month in blooming with these three SORBET#4 🌿🌿🌿🍧 Amazing and very particular aroma 😍 Purple leaves and the buds themselves, but just a little bit for now Trichomes are very oily Two are mostly identical, a little different in structure but not too much And they reacted well to last week's defoliation The not purple one as also a great aroma but a little different She dosen't reacted like the sisters at the "leafs cut off" , but she still alive and works on his way.. I think they will be flowering for about four more weeks or so.. Belverde Welcome growers We are close to forty days of flowering with these three beauties SORBET#4 🌿🌿🌿🍧 Now even the ugliest one has taken on purple hues, more bluish than the other two.. Ugly but smelling very good like the others 💯 But to be honest, like you see in photos, the other two are definetly better phenotypes ⬆️⬆️ Great flowers rich in trichomes, with the beautiful purple shades 🔥 And the aroma it's wonderful 😍 The flowers reminds me the GG#4 with no doubt, wich is involved in this cross and i can also find it already in the perfume.. Really cant wait to try.. Also the production looks pretty good too...considereting the small size of the pots (3l) Anyway.. About nutrients 👇 In this week, in addition to the usual organic / vegan nutrients, I made an "aerated Tea" using about 2.5 l of water where I put some earthworm humus / 20 g of Microlife (Bionova) / 20 g of Guano (Guano Kalong ) + 20 ml of molasses (unsolphorated)... All oxygenated by an aquarium pump ! Then, in the days after, i have used my current nutrients wich you have see me using untill now..so.. Belverde Welcome growers Already six weeks of flowering for these bad girls , all SORBET#4 🌿🌿🌿🍧 Let's talk about beautiful colors here 🔥🔥🔥 Purple, red and some shades of blue somewhere 💯 Great aroma, delicate not very intense...at least for now, but maybe it can will be stronger after drying and curing... I cant wait 😍 But i really enjoy already now just watching every day their progress.. The lower buds aren't very big, compared to other strain im growing right now (17 plants in total for six different genetics) 🌿🌿🌿🌿 Trichomes production it's great and resin is pretty sticky-icky 👌 I think that's a strain are very raccomended for exctraction and maybe im going to do somnthingh in that way ! We will see.. They are pretty fast in maturation, but honestly that's can be possible also due to the smallest pots.. Probably im going to cut in about fourteen to eighteen days✂️✂️...of sure for the two red/purple ones, maybe a week more for the "deep blu one".. In this week i started to decrease the nutrients, that in any case i have used in very low amount.. Belverde Welcome growers We spent together over then fifty days in flowering with these three beautiful sisters of SORBET#4 🌿🌿🌿🍧 Their colors reflect exactly the same ones i see now, watching outside the windows on the trees in this last days of October 🍂🍂🍂 Awesome 🔥🔥🔥 True autumn colors this time, probably even better with this red/purple and a few blue shades... They are the perfect plants to be photographed..no doubt 💯💯 Especially for the two more similar in colors and buds structure.. Trichomes are present in a good amount on each one, but again, more on the two "Reds" The aroma it's very delicate but present, hard to describe... Not the usual cannabis perfume.. Really cant wait to try them out 🚀 From the last day of the past week i started to watering with just pure water, without flushing 💧💧 Now i give water not every day but one yes one not.. And im going to cut off in no more then five days ✂️ That's simply because, honestly, i have to go in vacation in about three weeks and i have to dry it out and cure (approximatly) in just this amount of time 🙌 So i have calculated to spent no more then 6 days in drying and 10 days of open and closed the jar, for start the curing process.. Then i hope buds smells already good for having the chance to closing the jar for an entire week before my return, without moisture problems.. Usually i open and close the jar dayly for the first two weeks after the drying...so this time will be like a challenge.. Hope the best 🍀 We will see.. And that's all guys.. Belverde Welcome guys Quickly rewiew after two months post harwest.. I have grown three of this strain and each one showed slightly different characteristics from the others However, they all have the same effect and flavor too.. Personally I find it an excellent mix of genetics ...you can perceive the presence of GG in the flavor, which balances well with the "creaminess" of Sorbet The flowers are also quite heavy with resin, very sticky. The colors are different in each, but still all have shades ranging from black / dark blue to fiery red Beautiful for the view In smoke (flowers + cotton filter + raw organic papers ... No 🚬) the flavor is strong and full-bodied, tending to sweet ..a little creamy I would say.. With the vaporizer the flavors are accentuated and so are the effects (Mighty or any Storz & Bickel) 🔥 Effect that is quite relaxing, recommended for an after dinner on the sofa... For the more experienced, it is also suitable for daytime use...but still tends to relaxation / sleep 😴 What to say, it's a great variety that I can only recommend..
