Flower420 Week 1 veg.
Placed Janis in her new home (8/1/21) only ph water.
First feed (8/6/21)
Flower420 LST. Defoliation. Topping.
Her leaves were showing spots. Possibly from calmag. Bought GH Calimagic instead of Humboldt’s Secret.
Did a water change halfway through the week. - ph water only half of the day. Then added new nutrients and cut back on calmag.
Flower420 This week was a pretty easy week for Janis. 550PPMs with 5.8-6.0 PH. This week her buds ripened and have been getting thicker and more resin. I plan on doing one more week of low basic nutrients. The following will be a flush week- then time for Harvest 😎

Flower420 Lowered the PPMs to 420 😎
Only added base nutrients.
Her buds are still creating lots of resin and are getting thicker. Ripening nice with an elegant aroma of sweet citrus.
I can’t wait to try her out soon!
Next week will be her flush week, then time to harvest! I had to use zip ties on some of the bud sites due to how heavy they are. Next grow- definitely Doing LST right and different hydro set up. DWC is a great learning curve for hydroponics, but what a pain in the tush every week for feeding.
Bottom line- I’m loving what I’m learning and I’m having fun doing it! 💜

Flower420 This is her last week before Harvest!
I decided to start her off with just Ph water. Midweek I added just 1 gallon of ph water with Florakleen (10ml/gal). After that, I’ve just been observing her suck whatever is left out of her leaves. Her buds are still developing nicely. I just bought a microscope. Took some pretty cool pictures of her trichomes! She looks to be ready now. Cutting her down first thing Sunday morning (11/28). I will update her harvest next week.
Until then… Letting her do her thing before it’s time to ✂️
Hardy plant. Grows very tall. Smells citrusy sweet. LOTS of resin

Flower420 She was ✂️ On 11/28.
I have her in my grow tent right now drying (4x4x6). Temperatures are anywhere from 60-68 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity is 52%-60%.
I will update more once they are done drying.
12/10- whoa! Took about 12 days for drying. Got everything cleaned up and it looks like I got 7 ounces! Very proud of myself for my first grow 😊
I have her sealed up in Jars with Boveda packets. Next step will be burping!
@Rabidreject, it took me FOREVER to try and get a good picture. What I ended up doing was using one of the lens caps that sticks out kinda further. I placed it gently by a bud and messes with the focus until it was kinda clear and I kept doing that over and over again until it became a clear picture. I had to take like 50 pictures to get some good ones.
As far as using the stand- mine never came with a stand? I just had a steady hand that day 😆 and mine never went black and white. That’s odd 🤔 and it’s the same one I have?
@Flower420, ah I just looked at your link. Nah mines ever so slightly different. Mine came with a stand, a lens cap (which I didn’t realise at first because it’s transparent! Took me ages to figure out it wasn’t broken! 1600x mag and came in a blue box. It was the cheapest one on there so I don’t expect it to be as good as my dslr with macro gear but it cost probably 1% or 2% of the amount of money so swings and roundabouts n all that! I got It ages ago from Amazon and used it like twice coz it REALLY annoyed me taking 50+ photos to find one kind of haaalf acceptable one if I dropped my standards a bit lol. I actually found a macro add on clip for my phone more useful than mine. Like I say I havnt played with it in like 2 years tho so I’ll have a go. And tbf it only turned b&w when I was like zoomed into a thrichome head so it was bigger than full frame so that’s not rele the issue…
@Rabidreject, hopefully you can get some decent pictures. I’ll be crossing my fingers for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I love the microscope I purchased. I’ll have to get a stand for mine. Holding it wasn’t that bad, but my arms got tired 😆
@myrceneCB1, so I was using LST clips on her. I bent one of the beaches and it snapped. Before I could get to the other 2 stems to bend them, it was a little too late and I was afraid they would snap as well. So that’s why 3 branches are reeeeeeally tall while the others are reaching the same height as the rest. First time learning. Now I know.
Ahhh... If this is photoperiod, you can still perform LST and supercropping until the end of week 3 flowering. You wanna avoid any training beyond that. But prior to that you can go crazy with your LST. It would really suck to have small larfy buds at the bottom that do not get enough light. Good luck!
@@CrunchyDillPickles, she’s super frosty and I’m loving it! As far as harvesting goes- you know, I’m not sure lol. I’ve read that after 8-9 weeks growing Durban she should be ready. So I was going to see by next week how she’s looking. I was wondering the same about you! When are you harvesting your Durban?
