Feb 19th,
-welcome to the final week for Pine Tar Kush
- 3L H20 / Molasses tonight
- snipped a low-bud from the plant and it is still not seeing a lot of Amber. Trichomes are still kind of split 50/50, but the Amber is becoming visible, that is for sure. This will be the final week.
- for a 9-10 week flowering plant, Pine Tar Kush seems pretty comfortable in early stages of week 12
Feb 20
- AND YOU CAN GUARANTEE THAT BOTH "TEST" BUDS ARE CHOPPED AND DRYING-OUT IN THE SUNSHINE, ON THE LEDGE.
- decision made, light OFF tonight 10pm
Feb 21st and there is no more light for this Lady, into the dark for 72hrs last nite @ 17-22c & 55%rh
Feb 23rd
- harvest begins tonight at dinner time. After 72 hrs of darkness she will be photographed, chopped, weighed and hung in a custom tent
@1Right_Angle, I agree mate! It is fascinating to the point of addictive, trying to compare the smell. I think cannabis have very unique smell sometimes and it is almost impossible to compare to somethig else! Happy to see you enjoyed the harvest!
@sativaman, maybe thats what that 3rd smell was; kushy. I’m still learning Indicas hahaha so funny trying to pin a Flavour on a lungful. Good clean fun
Hey man beautiful grow, I love this strain you really do not see it nearly enough these days. One tip if I may, Once the plants finish their vertical growth by weeks 4 to 6 of flower depending on strain, We want to begin to expose the plants to a temperature swing of more than 9 degrees less when the lights are off. In veg and early flower we avoid this and keep our temp gaps close no more than 9 degrees less or they will stretch. But once they finish their vertical growth it will instead signal them to send extra energy into the budding process and resin production. Keep up the great work man cant wait to see how they turn out. If you got a minute check out my 200 light 7,000 plant diary and follow my profile and youtube for videos. Happy growing friend!
@LegacyMarketFarm, Thanks for the compliment and I TRULY appreciate the words on the nighttime DeltaT.
Those are the things I love about this site.
When people think you can handle it… good stuff happens
Count on my foot-prints !
ps, the nightime temp actually does hit 17c… so I’m there in a sense. i appreciate the comments about the timing of this environmental shift !!
