Another explosive week of growing. I'm experimenting with fim. My first grow with an auto was very tall so hopefully this will give me a bushy plant. So far the plant is responding positively to the haircut and bending. I have lst clips which I will put on in a couple of days. The smell is still weak but the clippings had a faint smell. So far so good 👍🏿.
She responded well to the lst training and fim. The main stem grew thicker and wider. The plant is starting to preflower and starting to see more of the white hairs. The smell is getting stronger as well.
She definitely got fatter and minimal stretching, which is great for my setup. I switched to Fox Farm because I like using organic nutrients during the flowering stage. The plant dranked more water this week and I simply just added water to flush out some of the GH nutes. The bud sites are getting more defined and bigger. The smell is starting to come in as well. My AC Infinity is doing a great job keeping the smell down.
The fan leaves are much darker, bigger and the tips are starting to have a blueish purple color coming in. Much more trimming was needed and much more drinking this week, filled up twice. The diesel smell is starting to come on nicely and the buds are getting fat.
Another great week of growing. The buds are starting to get more frosty and fatter. The smell is getting stronger. This week I added beastie bloom so we will see if it really helps with the size of the buds. This gal is drinking more water. I had to fill up twice this week but only filled up with water. I did some lst training and gave her a haircut. She responded very well.
I didn't add any nutes this week just water. The smell is very strong and buds are fat. I gave her a haircut and let her sit in darkness for 48 hrs. Will update in a few weeks on drying,start of curing and smoke report.
Not a bad grow. I probably won't use the fim method but overall still a good grow. I got 3 zips of dried flower so I'm not upset. The plant stayed short but I think thats from the fim but when I introduced lst the bottom nugs grew bigger for sure. The plant received the nutes very well. No disease or deficiencies. I do believe around week 4-6 I should gave more nutrients. During that time the plant really started to take off in growth.
The tester nug is no where in comparison to letting the flower cure for a bit. The smell is certainly fuel and sandalwood it gets stronger as the flower cures. The smoke is very nice and will not have you struck on the couch eating chips, perfect for Saturday errands. This will be a keeper in my garden.
