Week 3 of flower and baby's first haircut. I removed the bottom third of small leaves/branches. There is some better airflow now and easier to water is a plus. Every week until week 7 of flower, I'll be removing a small amount without going too much overboard. This has been a slower grow than my previous one but I am enjoying it and it has been easier to manage. Still exciting to look in every few days and see the buds developing!
@sleeks, that's what I thought. Thanks for replying. The grow I'm doing now is the first time I've tied a plant down. My tent is only 5 feet tall so I wanted to see if it would help in that respect
@jeffl2956, Personally I wait until the branches are in the shape I want them. In this case I had them tied to fill out the tent from side to side and keep the canopy even across the top. Once I have that basic shape I remove some. If some start growing taller than the others, I may tie a bit more to keep it more even.
