Day 64: Plant was flushed at the end of week eight. New sugar leaves are normal although the calcium deficiency definitely affected some of the lower ones. Buds are continuing to grow and most are about as thick as a banana, though not as tall. Think baby banana. Trichomes are pretty cloudy but I've yet to see any amber.
Any thoughts on what might have caused the plant to stay so short? I would love to have this happen on my next tangerine dream grow! My 1st grow was the exact opposite of this. Super tall! I ran out of space.
@highres, Thanks for that information. I tried LST for the 1st time as well. I'll certainly do better next time. I wonder if the low height lighting helped keep it short?
Good luck on your next grow!
@BucketBrigade, mostly my light (135w HLG QB). My tent is only 2’x2’x4’ so the light is perfectly sized for that footprint. I had to do a lot of environmental control to keep things cool, but I needed to keep the light pretty close to keep it short. I had NO idea what I was doing as far as LST goes (I just tied down branches) but I’m sure that helped too.
@highres, not yet haha. It's cooled down a little now so I'm gonna see if the lower temps help it develop a little better. Tangie never really smelled much and seems to be at the end of its lifespan pretty much tho, very few leaves left. Built a little veg box out of a pc case so I can veg a couple more now while these go. Good luck man!!
@Ashbash, Over-ripened fruit, feet and shoe shine polish. Not the most pleasant smell, but very pungent! Did you end up chopping down your Stardawg and Tangie this week?
