Day-36 BK. She is starting to showing a calmag deficiency so at lights on this evening she gets a heavy feed. The pot is light now, I just don't like to feed late in her day and she likes a drier environment than the 5 other strains in this grow. She doesn't like to be watered and will slump for a day but she just keeps on pushing, very vigorous plant. Never grown this strain before so I don't know if I just got a good one or if this is common. I do know she is hungry for more nutes
Day-38 BK. Fed one gallon of nutrients.
Day-41 BK. After 2 consecutive heavy feedings, I was still seeing a calmag deficiency. Pretty common issue in my grows especially with cocoir. So for all the Anti-Flushers, I decided to 'detoxify'. Flushed with 1.5 gallons of water with a few drops Ivory dish detergent to strip salts , took pH reading of the early runoff and it was above 7 then I flushed a gallon of rainwater through the subtrate . Finally I added 10ml of calmag and 1.25ml of GHE Hardwater the ghe is just because rainwater is almost distilled and is barren and it's a low calcium additive that lets me calmag or not. I'm pretty sure this was nutelock by my pH rising too high hopefully in a couple of days she will be healthier.
Banana strains are always super creative feeling and smooth smoke. Keep up the amazing progress. Good luck stay safe happy growing cheers!!!!! If you have a moment please stop by my YOU DECIDE diary and place a vote.
@LegacyMarketFarm, Thanks Brutha, if it rains soon we'll be ok. Started the grow with 190 gallons and collected about 30 gallons of snow melt last month. I'm down to 6 gallons. Thankfully it's finally supposed to rain in 2 more days. My tap water is poison at 535 TDS. Boring details, pardon the ponder. Oh and on that Banana if you look close you will see where I heeded your advice about temp gap in stretch on that other growers post. Internodal spacing was cut almost half. Before I had always tried to maintain 15ยฐF gap for the entire grow. Great advice on the 10 ยฐ .
