The seed was put to germinate in a wet paper towel inside a zip loc bag, then placed in my germinator at around 25 degrees C until it germinated. It was then planted in coco and put inside the tent in the wait for sprouting.
We're having a bit of a rough start. My poor little seedlings all have bugs! I've made a nice mix of Neem and a couple of organic pesticides against mites and thrips, and I have sprayed them twice during this first week. I'll have to give them some more I think...
Due to Easter they got hooked up to an auto irrigation system early. On my returnal I was happy to see they all survived my absence.
The plant is doing ok but we still have a problem with bugs. I've aprayed them again, and will repeat after a few days again. I'm hoping to be able to top her in a few days time.
This is the strongest grower out of the 4 plants I have in the tent. She was big enough to get topped at day 17. The others in the tent got topped at day 19. She is growing beautifully and I have done some tucking to start even her branches out.
This has been the fastest growing plant of the 4 plants in the tent all the way from germinationn until now. Just the last day or so, the Banana Purple Punch has cought up and is now equally big. So far so good and we should see signs of flowers soon...
This is the star of the tent! She has been growing best of the four since germination, and has the fattest stem. I have done lots of defoliation and she has plenty of good bud sites. She is on bloom nutes now and I am expecting her to flower well.
This is a champ of a plant! She grows very strongly and branches out very well. She would be happier with more space than what she is given now. She's the second strongest growing plant in the tent.
The queen nof the castle, the most majestic of the 4 plants in the tent. She is tall and packed with buds. I've had to remove loads of leaves. This is one happy lady!
This lady is turning into a massive plant! the stretching the last few weeks has been crazy. I have defoliated her a lot and she is building loads of buds all over. Her trunk is solid!
I have picked a ton of leaves from this big mama. She is turning into a monster!! She is now measuring 130 cm in height, and she is full of buds throughout. I'm looking forward to see the outcome on this one.
Summer has arrived and we have 30 degrees in the tent - not good. This baby is tallest and closest to the light and she is getting a bit heat stressed. I have changed the night time in the tent to day time to lower temps during lights on. I have also used some yoyos to pull her colas to the sides a bit, to further lower the heat stress.
I has some thrips in the tent and did a spraying with Tec-Fort. We'll see if they need another one.
Her colas are filling out and I think we'll get some fat ones...
She is struggling a bit in the heat, 30 degrees C is too much for her. She's also the one plant in the tent that is closest to the light. Even though she is showing unhappiness with her fan leaves, she's building beautiful very long colas.
She is getting bigger and fatter. Her 6 main colas are shaping up beautifully. They're getting massive! The heat is bad and she is suffering. All her upper fan leaves are dying. We've gota a couple of weeks to go, so we'll see how it goes....
The big girl is finishing up. I'll let her ripen a little bit more, and then she'll go down. She has been fattening up a bit these last few weeks and her buds are starting to look fat and tasty.
This baby grew very tall and was a bit hard to handle. It's my own fault for not training her much, though. She produced lods of high quality buds that I just love!
