So, my original plan was to germinate this plant and 2 others indoors, and then take them to my girlfriend's terrace where they were supposed to spend their lives. This would, however, only allow me to see those plants every second weekend, and I just couldn't let go of my babies. Once I started to train them for hours on a daily basis I got too a strong bond with them. I decided to instead let them stay indoors. It will be tight with the 3 of them in there, but we'll see how we go. If I'd known I'd never have chosen 25 litre pots for them....
This girl looked a bit unhappy during veg. and is now getting healthier and healthier looking leaves. Stretching has been very limited so far, thanks to the training. I have kept working on training her branches in a position I like during the week, and I have removed leaves I didn't like. The shape she is growing in now is perfect for the limited space she is given, and we see all 6 main branches at almost the same height and having similar sized bud development. I'm away from my babies for a few days and I can't wait to see how she looks like when I get back. I hope I've raised the light high enough...
On the last 2 pics we can see some free riders in the tent. My old (once white) Oakleys have been yellowed by too many hours in the sun. I'm trying to restore them to their previous glory by soaking them in peroxide and giving them a good dose of UV light from my Viparspectra XS2000. After a few days they look great, and I think they'll get whiter given more time in the peroxide bath inside the grow tent. We'll see...
Ohhh... you're going to have a tent with a FOREST!! But I, too, would not want to try to grow only visiting them once every two weeks! I think you were smart in your decision... Good luck!!
OMG, you're brave! Haha, I wouldn't to my auto's because of presumed stunned growth. Super curious how she turns out. Will follow your diary. Good luck!👍
Cheers @StealthyDutchGuy, training autos work fine as long as the plants are healthy. This girl looked a bit unhappy, but I decided to train her anyway...
